"I don't doubt she meant it." He replied passively. He really didn't like the idea of accepting charity from a toddler, or some girl who barely looked like she was in her teens. He had a good job and a big house. He had no qualms in getting the little boy a ball of his own to get attached to. Donovan chuckled a bit and shook his head. He wasn't about to say he accidentally bought a kid, or that he had no way of getting rid of the tot. Despite the way he acted, he really did like the little brat.
"Okay! Thaaaaank you." Vance nodded vigorously at the suggesting. "What is it?" He asked, wondering what kind of food would be given.

"Green apples, green grapes, green sugar free jelly beans... oh, and some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches- which thankfully aren't green," she gave her sister a look the moment she heard her start to laugh.
"I love green!" Lucifel clapped as she stood up. She toddled over to Vance and held out her hands. "I help you up. We wash up. Then we eat!"
"That's right. We wash our hands before we eat," Tori smiled.

Vance smiled ear to ear. Wow, these people really liked green things. They... weren't planning to play with him only cause he was green were they? Th-they weren't gonna EAT him were they?
Pshaw. Yeah right.
Vance grabbed the hands that had been offered and hoisted himself up, nodding. "Kay!" He agreed readily. "But I'm clean. We were just in a bath.." Vance was a bit confused. They were dirty? But water made things clean! Donovan scratched his chin a bit with a small smile. "A pool ain't the same as a bath. She's right buddy, wash your hands." Well.. if DADDY said so, then it MUST be true.

"That pool might qualify as a bath if it had soap. But, it doesn't and if it did it wouldn't be fun anymore... so, it's best to leave the bath (a necessity) and the pool (a pleasure) separate," Tori winked. She held out both her hands for the tots to take hold of. "Come on I'll take us to the restrooms so we can get washed up."
Lucifel eagerly took hold of her sisters hand. The sooner they washed up the sooner they ate. Not to mention her sister knew where the bathrooms where and she didn't.

Vance shook his head a bit at Tori's explaning. "But baths are fun! Bubbles and stuff...but this bath is BIGGER and I'm allowed to splash on dah ground." So maybe Tori had a point. So smart!
Donovan tilted his head a bit as he watched Tori interact with the children. "You sure know how to handle kids." He said in passing. He was totally new to it, and had little to no experience. "Thanks for helping so far."
Vance held Tori's hand and giggled happily.

Victoria smiled towards Vance as they walked towards the park restrooms. "Thank you. When you've got rents who are light sensitive," she wasn't about to say vampire, "you have to learn a thing or two... tots don't sit still for long," she chuckled.
"Anytime you need help just ask. I'll be glad to give you my cell number before we part ways at the end of the day," she said as she opened the door to the ladies room.
"Alright everyone in so we can get washed up," as she spoke she 'scooted' them in. "We'll be out in just a second," she assured dad. Even if he hadn't seemed all that worried previous it was still the proper thing to do.
"Van there be bubbles... you see!" Lucifel whispered. Although her whispering was loud enough that everyone outside of the restroom could have heard them. She giggled. "I love bubbles!"
Tori rolled her eyes as she headed on into the restroom herself. She knew that if she didn't get in there quickly she'd have one heck of a mess on her hands.

"Thanks. I appreciate it." Donovan said with a nod. The young man went into 'parenthood' blind, and he was often at a loss at what to do. A few tips here and there were definitely needed.
Vance scuttled into the bathroom, wondering why this one was so different from ones he was used to. It was pink! How weird. The sinks were much too high for the toddler to reach, so he waited patiently for a lift. "Bubbles? In there?" He asked, pointing up at the sink. Because there certainly had not been any in the pool. Pools don't have bubbles, silly~.

Tori leaned on the sinks to make sure they were sturdy enough to hold both Vance and Lucifel at the same. Once she was sure they could both sit on it without it falling apart she picked up Lucifel and sat her down on the counter top.
"Thanks Tori," Lucifel giggled and clapped. It was sorta like a ride. She just wished the 'up' part had last longer.
"Now you're turn," Tori said to Vance as she bent over to pick him up. Within seconds she had him sitting on the counter as well. "Normally you wouldn't do this but we'll make an exception," she grinned.
"Like this." Lucifel leaned forward and pushed down the knob of the sink. The water was quick to turn on and even quicker to turn off but she had managed to get just enough water on her hands. Next she pushed the lever of the soap dispenser. Lastly she started to rub her hands together. "See bubbles," she giggled and showed her hands to Vance.
"Yep, bubbles," Tori giggled.

Vance reached up for Tori when she bent to pick the boy up, smiling happily. He looked around from atop the counter. "I'm tall now!" He exclaimed proudly.
Vance watched Lucifel work the sink. "This sink is funny." The one at home had turning handles! This one was--AAH! "Waaah! It shut off!" He exclaimed. Why did it shut off? They had pushed the button thing! Vance hit it again and quickly put his hands in then back out. Weeeird. He mimicked Lucifel as she reached for the soap dispenser and rubbed his hands together to make bubbles too. This soap smelled really nice! "Bubbles!" He said back, reaching his hands out to Lucifel. "They smell like candy!" He said happily. It was probably a cherry scented soap, but what did a toddler know?
Vance hit the knob again and kept his hands under the faucet to rinse off, hitting it again when it was clear bubbles were still lingering. "We need to dry them now!" He exclaimed to Lucifel, showing off his clean but soaking wet hands. Never mind that the rest of him was still wet from the pool. Priorities!

Tori leaned to the right and grabbed a hand full of paper towels. She started with Van, then did Lucifel, and lastly dried her own hands. "There we go... all clean!" Tori smiled and started to help both tots down off the counter so that they could go enjoy the picnic.
"See easy peasy," Lucifel grinned and giggled. She clapped excitedly. "Now we eats!"

Vance got his hands dried and waited excitedly to be let down. "I'm hungry! We can all eat together, like a family!" Just like in TV, where a lot of friends and people ate as a group. He was so used to just eating with only his father. This would be so fun! A new experience.
Once he was down he led the way out of the washroom to meet back up with his daddy, missing his company already. "Daddy daddy we gonna eat together." He said happily, pulling his befuddled father toward the group.

Victoria was quick to have things set up for a picnic. A nice fluffy blanket big enough for all of them and a couple of more. The picnic basket was set in the middle. As messy as Lucifel could be there were even extra plates and napkins.
"Kiddo's first," Tori said with a smile as she started pulling out the various green foods. There were of course other colors but not many.
"Fun Foods!" Lucifel giggled and clapped.

Donovan raised a brow at the color of the foods. Must be catered to the Lucifel girl, he thought. She seemed to prefer a certain color. Vance found it amazing. He'd never seen so much green food that wasn't just veggies before. The boy smiled widely, bouncing in place before settling on the blanket with the other kids.
"What you gonna have first, Felly?" He asked his new friend eagerly, wanting to copy whatever the green girl did. Whatever Lucifel got first, Vance picked up as well. Donovan found it a bit amusing, and just watched his son's antics. He wasn't all that hungry.

"Grapes and apples first," Lucifel chirped. She could barely sit still, something her sister was use to by now. "You like grapes?" she asked Van.
Victoria giggled, her sister was something else. She carefully opened the containers and prepare their plates. "One for you," she said as she sat it down in front of Van. "One for you," she said as she sat the second plate down in front of Lucifel.
Lucifel didn't complain because she knew guests first.
"Anything for you," Tori asked Donovan.

"I like everything!" Vance exclaimed, wiggling happily as he received his plate. "Thank you!" Mmmmm! It was so yummy! Donovan smirked a bit. It was true, so far there was very little the kid wouldn't eat. Strange for a toddler.
Donovan looked over at Tori, and shook his head lightly. "No thanks. I'm good." Donovan was feeling the itch to go home, but his kid was having fun, so he'd just have to wait. This wasn't the young man's usual crowd, and it was taking him a long while to warm up to it.
Vance however, was enjoying himself just fine, and making short work of his food plate. "Done!" He said proudly, as he moved his plate away.
