 Lucine walked to the other side of the board and looked at the poster that had her sister so displeased. "We aren't alone," Lucine told the man as she stood on her tip-toes to reach the poster and rip it down. 'Don't read those. You'll trigger visions,' she thought to her twin."We're never alone," Layla added, still looking at where the poster was. The one thing that she could never stop were her visions. They invaded her dreams, her waking hour, and could come on at any time. They were part of the reason she was so often timid. She knew the atrocities that humans were capable of, sometimes before they even happened."And how exactly do you know what this world is like? Been to the darker side of it?" Lucine asked, stepping closer to the man than her sister was. Lucine felt her field around her, the space where she she could use her powers, and what was inside. A cart a few feet away was selling kitchen knives. She hoped there would be no fight, but if there was, it was always better to be prepared.

 As the little girl stepped closer to him in her threatening manor, he couldn't help but smile. "Once or twice, I'll admit. But you probably have more things to worry about that me. Go back to you caretaker, kids." He began walking, intending to go by them.

"We don't have a 'caretaker' nor do we need one. We've taken care of ourselves for a long time!" Lucine said angrily. She wanted to bring over the kitchen knives, but knew that Layla would protest. Lucine felt Layla grab her arm.A man she did not recognize loomed over her. She felt his fist connect with her face. 'How powerful are you now, CI-HEP? You're nothing but a failed experiment!' he taunted over her. She looked over and saw a bloody and unconscious Lucine. The man hit her again and again until she blacked out.Lucine watched as her twin began to bleed from a cut that appeared on her face. A moment later Layla passed out. "Sis? Layla!" Lucine repeated, trying to wake her.

Hearing the panic in the girl's voice, Dom turned around. Her sister was on the ground, bleeding from a cut she didn't have a moment ago. What the... He knew better than to associate with random people, but she had power. He couldn't ignore that fact.
Dom quickly knelt beside the girl, looking at her pale face. "What's her power?" He whispered the the still conscience sister. "Does this wear off quickly?"

 "She sees stuff. She must have had a vision, but it's never done this much damage! She's never bled from it before," Lucine said, sifting her weight from foot to foot, a habit they both had if they were extremely nervous. "We need to find Claire!" She said as she looked around, as if Claire would pop out of nowhere.

Dom look at the girl confused. "Claire? Dare i asked who Claire is?" He shook his head, deleting that from his head. "How do I find her?" He asked the girl, standing. "You should stay with her, in case she wakes up."

 "Our other sister, and I have a much faster way of contacting her," Lucine said as she reached out with her mind. She had to close off the connection between Layla and herself because it would overwhelm anything else ans sought out her other sister.'Which one of you is in my mind? If you're in here then you better have a good reason. You both know I hate it when you pop in,' Claire thought with mild agitation.'Cool your jets! No need to leap down my throat. Can you get to the bulletin board? Layla had a really strong vision and something weird is going on,' Lucine replied.
'Be there in a couple minutes. Just stay put,' Claire replied as Lucine cut the connection off.
"She's on her way, but it'll take her a couple minutes. She's normal."

Dom nodded, looking down at the girl lying before him, before picking her up and resting her on a bench. It was drawing attention for her to be on the ground with them standing around her. Attention is bad when you're a government project... And they all were. So attention, to him, at least, was really dangerous.

I'm standin' on the bridge
I'm waitin' in the dark
I thought that you'd be here by now
There's nothing but the rain
No footsteps on the ground
I'm listening but there's no sound ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Layla began to stir slightly. Her head hurt terribly and if she was not mistaken her cheek was bleeding. "Ugh, what happened?" she asked, her eyes still closed, but her face scrunched in a wince.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~I'm looking for a place
I'm searching for a face
Is anybody here I know?
'Cause nothing's going right
And everything's a mess
And no one likes to be alone

Dom shook his head, as if to clear it. "I was actually hoping you could explain that..." He said, laughing weakly. He'd never really been comfortable about kids. They always made him uneasy with their mindset. Kid's have weird minds.

"My visions are never wrong, but I hope this one is," she said as a tear ran down her face at the thought of Lucine the way she had seen.Lucine was standing a little ways away and looking for Claire.
