Entry #3 (Toddler Stage)
Diary.
Got a sister. Name is Nadia. She has weird skin that's crackily. I don't think she's nice. She only smiles in front of some of us. Mom, Edmund, and Gavin. Never at me and Kei. Don't like it. Her power is to make smells. Think it's weird. Smell that Nadia makes makes me... lot's of energy. We'll see, but don't think I like.
Really don't.

There had been something on Willow's mind for a little while since the whole incident with Keiran. Why was it such a big problem for a boy to be called a girl? Also, was it just as bad to be the other way around? A lot of times she liked wearing "boy" clothes better then frilly dresses. So she decided one day while her mother was typing away answering her email, to ask Sun. She climbed up into her lap and settled there comfortably.
Sun smiled down at Willow and pet her hair. "What's on your mind Doodlebug?" It wasn't a nickname she used often but sometimes she liked to use it for Willow. Willow gave Sun a smile and the began her questioning.
"How come it's bad to call a boy a girl? It is bad to call a girl a boy?" She looked at her mother earnestly. She wanted not to hurt anyone again like she'd hurt Kei.
Sun looked thoughtful a moment, like she was picking her words. "Well...there's a thing called gender identity. This might be kind of confusing to talk to you about right now, but...it's not really a bad thing to call someone who is a boy a girl, or the other way around." Sun paused as she wasn't really sure how to further explain it to someone who was only about 6 without confusing them. "But it can be very upsetting to someone to be called the opposite of what they think they are."
Willow frowned slightly. She thought she kind of understood but it was definitely confusing. "Then...how do I know what to call someone?"
Sun looked thoughtful again. "Well, I think for now, if they look like a boy to you most of the time, not counting dress up time, it's probably ok to call them a boy, and same for girls. If you want we can talk about this again when you get to be just a little bit older. I think it won't be so confusing then, ok?"
Willow gave Sun a broad smile. "Ok Mommy! Thank you." She gave Sun a big hug before settling in to watch her type emails to her friends.

Entry #4 (Child Stage)
Diary.
So when I woke up this morning I found out I grew up into a kid over night. I've got big purple butterfly like wings. They're really pretty and kinda girly, but I don't know if they suit me much. I guess I don't feel very pretty and girly. I don't know why, but I guess it's because I like to do things that boys do more then girls. I mean how many girls like to go stomping through the woods and look for salamanders? Not any that I know. Mom says I'll probably grow into them, that I'm beautiful now, and I'll be even more so later. Don't know if I really believe her but...I guess part of me hopes she's right.
Also just like my big brothers my powers seem to have grown too which is pretty exciting. I haven't had a chance to play with them much but so far it seems like I can do more things with my lights now.
The most exciting thing of all is being able to move into the dorms. I'll be there with all the siblings I do like, and not the one I don't like. Perfect.

Diary.
So I moved into the dorms today. My roommate is Isolde who's friends with Kei and Nadia. She's really nice and pretty and girly. I was afraid we weren't going to get along since I'm not really much like her (and maybe because she's friends with Nadia too), but so far we do!
Also I wanted to talk about the ball too. Well I went as a pirate, a boy pirate because um... well me not being girly and stuff, but I really wish I'd worn something cute and girly. Well.... Gavin's friend Theo was there and...well.... I guess I have a crush on him. He's just so cute and funny and... god I sound ridiculous. Really though he has these little pom pom antennae like a bumblebee and...
Ok shutting up now about that. Let's just say the ball was fun. I kind of want to start dressing more girly now though. I wonder if Isolde will give me a make-over or whatever girls do when they want to look nice. She's really pretty so she'll be able to make me really pretty too right?
I hope I get to see Theo again after she does.
.... ugh, this is getting ridiculous. I'm going to stop writing before I start writing sonnets or something stupid. If Gavin ever reads this I'll never hear the end of it. AND IF YOU'RE READING THIS RIGHT NOW GAVIN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU.

Entry #6 (Teen Stage)
Diary,
Not really much to report these days. I aged up into a teen which wasn't as exciting as I hoped. I thought I'd be... well I guess I hoped I'd "fill out more". I guess it's not important, but it gets frustrating sometimes when I see how guys look at my sister. I'm really only interested in one boy though. Yes I still am crushing hardcore on that bee boy. If I could get his attention well... Nadia could have all the other boys in the world and I wouldn't care.
I'm really hoping to get his attention at the ball tonight. I had an idea to dress up like a flower. I think if I do that well... you'd think it would be pretty obvious I was interested! At least I hope so! So we'll see how that goes, I'll keep you updated on that at least.
I didn't really want to write before because I was too busy distracting myself from all the drama with the humans by spending a lot of time on the grounds and stuff like that. Well going to get ready for the ball now. Have my fingers crossed.
