I've put on a dress and I'm walking in a straight line, said the Faun to Emma, humor apparent in the thought. What is there to be proud of?
Alright, she did suppose that resisting the urge to break down, curl up into a ball and cry because of all the people there that were probably looking at her and how horrible she looked. And fending off those mean voices in the back of her head that urged her to do so was no easy task. She reminded herself that she was stronger than them.

I hope you understand today that your father isn't the only one who loves you, my dear.
The door to the pavilion was still open and Remus was waiting. Emma made a quick signal to the musicians, and the wedding march struck up.

There was that. And Kaok didn't know how to respond to it. It was still sort of surreal - if amazing - to think that anyone did. Before she began to walk down the aisle, she glanced briefly at Emma, but then was off.
Please, please, tell me that everything's going to go well.

Remus couldn't help but smile a little when he saw Kaok in her wedding dress. He was still nervous however, and there was a heat in his stomach and chest. Remus bent his knees a little, to prevent them from giving out beneath him. It felt like he had been standing for ages, even though it had only been a few minutes.

Emma nudged Kaok's sight towards her groom, keeping an outward look of serenity as she walked behind the bride, eventually taking her place at the front as the Maid of Honor.

She did look at him, fidgeting slightly as she now just stood there, and smiled. It would appear as though Remus was about as nervous as her, which was saying something. He did look very handsome though, surely ten times better than how she looked. Maybe there was another reason Fauns didn't like to clothe themselves - very little suited them.

Though Kaok didn't think so, Remus thought she looked beautiful. She definitely outshone him. Then again, he liked it better that way. She was beautiful, whether she thought so or not. She had to be. Of all the women he could have had, he chose her. Of course, it wasn't all based on looks either. He loved her little quirks and looked forward to teasing her on a regular basis.
The Imperator's nerves eased up a bit more when she joined him on the altar.

((Man, yall suck. I shortened it by the way. Most of it is Christian stuff and I really didn't think that would work so well.))
When Kaok joined Remus at the altar, the chaplain started speaking.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of Jupiter, and in the face of this company, to join together this Toaster and this Goat in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate, instituted of Jupiter. Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any man or woman can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold their peace."
The Imperator snickered, along with a few other people in the pews. A few others gasped.

A look of surprised flickered across Emma's features, but she shrugged it off quickly. Remus had the right to do what he wished, after all. She only hoped Kaok would not object.
There was a stifled snort of laughter from a sorcerer in the audience (who quieted down when Emma shot him a glare).

Kaok tried to appear unfazed, but in her head she was both slightly offended and slightly amused. Ha. Toaster.
And of course, in his seat, Dr. Cairndeer couldn't help but crack up. Cyril gave him a look, and James tried to stop laughing. It took a moment.

The chaplain cleared his throat and continued when nobody objected to Remus and Kaok being joined together.
"Remus Fletcher, wilt thou have this woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after Jupiter's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honor, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as you both shall live?"
Remus didn't answer right away. The Imperator looked over his bride and then he smiled.
"I do."

Both nobles smiled as the couple exchanged their vows, each fingering their own golden bands. Emma had her own muted elegance as she stood beside the alter, but could not outshine the blushing bride.

She started to tremble again after Remus said that - half because of what it meant about how he cared for her, which was still a strange idea, and half because it meant in a few seconds she would have to say something audible without anything other than words coming out.

The chaplain nodded and turned to look at Kaok.

"Wouldn't it be hilarious if she bolted right now?" the Imperator thought to himself. Of course, Kaok wouldn't do that, right?
