Kurayami Kasai I was introduced the the pairing online. I would have never liked it, otherwise. I have never been fond of homosexuality. I still sort of dislike it, to be honest, but Kurama and Hiei together is far to cute to resist. The pairing itself seems quite possible, to me. It's not like those ones where people just throw to characters together for no reason. They are close friends, and I believe strongly that they could become more, given time. I just don't think they are a couple during the series. They fought when they met, originally, so no, I don't think it was love at first sight. same

mrchikenlicky When I first saw YYH I never thought O the as O couple, but later on I started to love it thanks to O yaoi site, so I was wondering if any O you thought they were good the instant you saw them, or if you just took O while to like it. I was love at first sight.

That he did. I believe that would've made Hiei trust him, and that trust could have lead to a sort of love. They do get quite fond of each other, anyone can admit that. Them actually ever being together is debatable.

Yes, and you can see the worry on Hiei's face in the tournament when Kurama fights.^-^ It's so kawaii! heart

Hey, why did this thread die gonk
I have to say I believe that for Kurama, it could have been love at first sight, but for Hiei, i would have to take a little convincing. I don't think love is something that would normally be on Hiei's mind unless there was a little coaxing...
As for the couple, Kurama and Hiei are the reason i started watching Yu Yu Hakusho! When it was just Kuwabara, Yusuke and Botan running around, i was like, Yeah... this show is okay... But then Kurama and Hiei showed up and i was just NEW FAVORITE SHOW! I was already a major Taito (Matt x Tai in Digimon) fan, and when i went looking for YYH pics online i stumbled across the 'infamous' hugging picture and instantly knew i would like the couple.

O_O I was a victim to Yaoi when I saw my first Kurama x Hiei.
I remeber I acted so newbish asking everyone if they were a couple. Alas, they told me they weren't. Only fanfics matie.
^_^ I was glad to hear it too. I was very confused and embarrased!
But I simply lol'd at it. Yaoi is awesome but sometimes newbie anime fans get the wrong idea like I did a very, very long time ago O_O.

I don't think "love at first sight" works for them. I mean, Hiei doesn't even acknowledge love. They have a mature relationship, and to me it works better being something that they grow into. 3nodding

Agreed. I know he yearns for it and hides it.

Yeah. And because I do think Hiei would have to grow to love someone, it seems natural that it would be Kurama, because Kurama's the one he's trusted longest/has had the most time to love. 3nodding Blahblahblah.
