i'll buy it when i reactivate my account. where i work was closed for the winter but they reopened so i have money again.
i get the fact that people don't like it cause it costs 25 dollars but look at it this way, instead of spending hours of your time grinding for gold to by the ingame mounts, you can just buy this one and you only need to focus on buying the riding levels. i still need to get epic flying and if i get this i will not have to fork out more gold to get a mount to use it.

the ICC achievement mounts are way cooler IMO. and harder to get.

Gold isn't hard to make I farmed my Epic flyer in 1 day and 1/2 in BC and now with more dailies gold is a joke. Personally I don't like it because, It looks like a horse with wings with ektow plasmic armor and does not even go 310% for 25 bucks, To me your riding the rip-off of pegasus. I have rode one myself on my friend's account. It just looks flat out retarded IN MY OPINION

Not sure if you meant, "Well, you can't just buy it and get 310% if you don't have one". Yeah, it's all a matter of taste. If you like how it looks and can afford it and $25 isn't much since you'll get to use it on each and every account you'll have on every realm on every faction on any future character you make and can save that "1 day of farming" for each of those toons, then cool. If you think it "looks flat out retarded", then we'll just have to wait for a cooler one to come out; if they bring future mounts into the cash store anyways. lol I actually prefer Dragons and weird Mechanic looking things than horses with wings.

Well whether gold is easy to make in your opinion or not, the point still remains that it saves gold. You can spend that gold on anything else, and it goes to all present and future characters. KACHING! That's what I see. It's an investment. Saving all that gold you would have spent on other characters in the end will mean big bucks. But if think it looks dumb, then don't get it. I agree with Ldown. I think it looks pretty sweet, then again I am female, so maybe it's in my blood. It makes me think of Halls of Lightning and Halls of Stone. they designed it similarly.
And besides, if you have the right proffs for your server, then good for you. But not everyone does. If you pick the wrong proffs they can be nothing but a drain. And the time it takes to level your proffs and such to actually make money...I still see savings in this mount.
But I agree the protos and any achievement mounts are going to be much more impressive than someone showing off that they have 25 bucks to throw away. And yeah as long as you have an achievement mount the celestial has 310% speed increase.
Edit: Pegasus is classic, a mythological creature. If you truly wish to claim it's a rip off, maybe we should consider the rest of this game...dragons...dwarfs, gnomes, elves, everything...none of it originated with WoW. And like I said above, with the history behind HoS and HoL it totally fits.

Personally, I think it's a little greedy asking $25. I'd be a lot more thrilled if it were about $10 or so. However, I did buy it, as well as Lil' K.T. back when he came out.
I suppose in a way, it's just to show other players how much you love your characters. Kind of like buying a pretty dress for your girlfriend, but way more pathetic.

I have it and I love it. Especially since now I can make any new character I want and if I chose not to, I never have to ride around on those horrendous beginning mounts ever again. Yay no more elekks!
