R'ael, desidedly not expecting the gesture, blinks, startled at the smile. Last time they'd met the meeting had been anything but freindly...
"Just water and a bone?" He double checks. "I can probaly get him some meat if you'd rather, we haven't gotten much underway."

Caleten nods at the double check and looks to Dem'or a moment and then back to Rayale, "Correct and just a little meat, he is just a puppy." She'd be nicer for the gather but speaking more then necessary would take time if ever. Water was safer, she didn't want any run-ins with wine.

She greeted Kahlin and spoke to him in a much nicer tone then she had when they first met, "I found him not too long ago. His name is Dem'or"

Dem'or took note of his master's behavior and guessed that this person was nice too. Sniffing his hand, Dem'or licked him once in acceptance barking playfully and wagging his tail.

"I'll be right back then..." He notes, patting Kahlin lightly on the shoulder as he turns to fetch some meat on a bone for the puppy, and an cup of cool water for Caleten. It seems strange to only seek out a cup of water at a celebration like this, but the day is young yet...
He walked back to one of the food tables to assemble things, trimming aside some meat to make sure he had an small, sturdy bone for the puppy to chew, one that wouldn't splinter and cause trouble.
Any sign of G'dor yet?
No, Mine...he's still busy...Jaiereth responded to the unspoken question, from his out of the way place. With so many feet promising to be in one place, he didn't want to be trodden on or tripped over.

Caleten looks around at all the people, she'd leave soon. She heard Kahlin's question and almost snorted. As if there was any doubt she'd take care of the puppy.

Dem'or barked again wagging his tail and licking Kahlin's hand again enjoying being petted.

When Rayale returend with the bone and drink she responed to Kahlin as if Dem'or hadn't pretty much said it himself, "He gets pretty much spoiled." Then, in keeping with her vow to be nice during this gather she said, "Thanks." to Rayale and actually meant it.

Dem'or smelled the food and stood on his hindlegs for as long as he could balance sniffing and begging for it though he wasn't starving in the least. Caleten handed him what he seeked, petting him on the head and showing a bit of the true affection she had for the little pup on her face. Though it didn't stay long as she looked back to them.

He offered a second cup to Khalin as he walked back over, having clutched two, very carefuly, in one hand, startled again by Caleten's actual and sinsere sounding gesture of thanks.
"You seem to do well with animals...quite tallent that..." He offers cautiously.

Rinfala nodded and grinned. "That's good. Glad to hear it." She looked a little surprised at Nevaeh's question. "Me? Nah, I didn't have anything planned. Just wandering around a bit, really."

N'tren had been relieved from playing drudge temporarily as he has skills in the kitchens that were needed. Another pair of eyes to make sure that the meat did not char and the soup not scorch was always helpful. A part of him was a little sad that he had not had the pleasure of going out into the crowds yet but Datiath was happily nestled with other random weyrmates and reporting to the young bronze rider what was going on.

MINE! So much to see and do. There are smells and sights and many many people and dragons! I say hello to everyone and they speak back to me! This is so much fun!

N'tren could practically feel his dragon trembling with excitement from snout to tail. Carefully loading breads and meatrolls on a tray, he placed it in the pick up window before going back to work on the meatrolls and more fruit juice. The pitchers seemed always to be empty.

This is much fun for everyone, Dattie. I will be fifteen turns in a few months. I wonder if I should return home for my birthing day?

"Rias is my home now, Datiath. But Kolomor Hold is where my parents are at. My sires. They will feed you all sorts of tidbits if I can figure out how to bring you as well. It will be a while before you can fly."

Laughing, N'tren took up the tray of meatrolls and placed them in the serving window as well. Hopefully in a couple of hours, he would be relieved and be able to go out and about in the Gather.

Nevaeh smiled. "Well being as you don't have anything planned what do you say we wander together? I've been wandering around by myself for the past half hour and it's rather boring alone." Nevaeh said. She was rather bored at the moment and mentally crossing her fingers that Rinfala wouldn't mind hanging with her for the day.
