Emmy sat down beside him and grabbed a handful of feed. She lightly tossed it towards the birds and gave a similar reply to the one she had gotten. "No, no exes. I have barely had any friends, let alone any romantic ones. I'm not exactly well liked, most think I am pretty weird."

Trevor tossed some feed at the birds and looks at Emmy "I don't think you're weird" he said. "you don't have any friends at Crystal?" he asked her, since normally girls who went to crystal had different cliques and what not, then again it was the probably same at all the schools in Destiny City.

"People usually try to avoid me. I'm not exactly a preppy type, I'm not very good at sports, and the fact I get dirty on purpose seems to baffle most of them." She sighed a little bit. "But I'm used to it. It definitely doesn't bother me as much as it used to."

"if you aren't the preppy type, then why are you going to Crystal?" he asked her out of curiosity. "Not that I am trying to pry or anything I'm just trying to get to know you more" he told her and lightly brushed a stray strand of hair from her face.

"My parents...they sorta made the choice for me. I guess they hoped it would get rid of my childish tendencies. Didn't really work all that well. They want me to be a certain way, and I just keep disappointing them. My grandma was the only one who really accepted me for who I was." Emmy turned away from him slightly. "But she's gone."

Trevor moved a little closer to her and put an arm around her "well, I always thought you would be able to make your own choice on where you want to attend school." he told her before placing the feed in his lap and placing his free hand under her chin and turned her head towards him "Emmy..look at me...I love you for the way you are as well" he told her. "what school did you want to go to?" he asked her.

"Well, Meadowview I suppose. There aren't many choices." Again, she slightly shied away from him. "My parents are important people, and I come from a lot of money. I don't get many choices when it comes to my life. I won't until I have gone to the schools they want me to go to, get the job they want me to have and live the life they want for me." And there it was. The perfect little bubble had popped, and she began to slip into the familiar darkness she was becoming used to. The darkness underneath she always hid. "I don't expect you to understand, it sounds like you have a nice family; a great sister. Your life is enviable to someone like me."
She placed her arm in between her head and her leg, so she was propped up by her elbow. "Status and money do not make life easier. It just brings a different set of problems, ones that do not easily vanish."

Trevor frowned lightly "that's like saying...what we have will not last very long" he said moving his arm from around her and placing it in his lap and looking downwards. He set the feed on the bench and standing up walking a little ways off.

"I didn't say that...we can't know for sure, I mean this is only our first date! These things take time, and relationships are supposed to be hard. If they were easy there would never be divorces, there would never be break ups to spur terribly written poetry and songs." She stood slowly, but did not move from the spot. "I really don't know what to say."

"I'm aware of that" he told her before crossing his arms lightly. "but if your parents dictate all your choices, I don't think they would approve of me" he told her. "if you think about it, you come from a family with money and well I don't" he informed her

"You don't think I didn't think of that? At this point I don't think they are going to mind money, as long as you are respectful and have ambition then you will be fine. Hell, they would probably be grateful there was even a boy interested in me." She sat back down and put her head in her hands. "Its up to you. If you just want to be friends I can live with that, and maybe we can try again a little bit down the road."

"I didn't say that" he said before turning to face her "I didn't imply that ever..I told you I liked you the way you are...money wasn't even a factor" he told her before walking over to her and sitting down beside her "I didn't say that" he told her. "why would I just want to be friends with you? It took a time to find someone" he finished.

"I'm so confused..." She shook her head and sighed. "Maybe we should call it a day." She placed one of her hands on his lap. "Maybe in a little bit we can go out for lunch and give this another go?"
She tried her best to smile and be sweet, but inside she was in turmoil. Emmy had no idea what was going to happen.

Trevor shook his head "I don't want to call it a day" he said. "what are you so confused about? I am not leaving until we sort this out, and I'm not going to give this another go" he told her. "I'm not loosing you to some random misunderstandings, you're the one who made this situation a lot more complicated then it started out" he said.
"if you want to just give up on the first time someone ever loved you and wanted to be part of your life, then go for it because you will never find another guy who will" he said before standing up and starting walk away.
