When she curled her fingers around his hand instead of yanking her hand away he grinned. He'd been in a slump lately, and it was nice to be on the up. As they moved across the park his soft leather boots didn't make much noise in the grass for which he was glad. He knew hobos lived in the park and he didn't want attract any of them, not when they were both injured.
He laughed at her words. "Cutie, I promise you I'm a better guy then whoever you're with." He let go of her hand a little reluctantly and made his way to the water's edge. He crouched down, his skirt hugging his bum, and his tights outlining the muscles in his legs. "Why do I get the feeling this is going to hurt?" He grinned, trying to look brave and all that and then thrust his hand in the water. He winced as the water cooled off his throbbing hand. After the initial discomfort he sighed, the water cooling the burn on his fingers. Leaving his hand in the water he twisted to look back at her. "This was a good idea, thanks." He smiled at her, his hair falling in his eyes.

He was a better guy, eh? Well, he'd saved her from a youma, so he was in her good books. Eos watched as he moved towards the water, eyes drifting down a little. He was wearing...a skirt? Thick tights, but still, a skirt? That was a feminine item of clothing, guys didn't wear skirts. Although, she reasoned with herself, she wasn't sure you got to choose your fuku. She certainly hadn't chosen hers, it just...was. Still, she could see he wasn't exactly a pushover.
...Yes, Sailor Eos could certainly appreciate the view from back here.
He looked back at her and her eyes instantly shot up to meet his, cheeks a little pink at the embarrassment. Had he caught her looking? Damn... "'Cause it probably will," she retaliated, trying to sound more sassy and confident that she felt, topping it off with another grin. She liked this, liked playing around. It mad her feel...liberated. Her grin lessened to a smile at his thanks, Eos taking a step forwards before crouching down to the same level as him, making sure to angle herself so he didn't get a view down her dress. "Your hair's in your eyes," she stated a little bluntly, before gently reaching a hand forwards to push it away, a small smile on her face.

As he crouched down Orion thought he felt her eyes on him. Probably checking out his skirt. He still didn't like the thing, and don't get him started on the tights, thankfully he was in shape or it would be that much worse. If he had a choice he would've taken shorts over the skirt, even if they were ridiculously short. Well, no maybe not. As much as the tights chafed he couldn't imagine how tight shorts would constrict him.
His suspicions that she was checking out were confirmed when he turned and looked back at her and noticed her eye shoot up and the blush on her cheeks. He didn't say anything about it, just grinning instead. He didn't want to make her feel embarrassed about checking him out, that might discourage her. The red head laughed at her answer and grin, she was fun. He was glad, lately he had a habit of running into girl's who didn't seem to like his attention.
Gray eyes followed her as she came to crouch next to him. He arched a brow slightly, curious to what she was doing. Maybe she was going to jump him, not that he'd mind. Unfortunately for Orion she seemed to have something much more innocent in mind. His eyes rolled upwards, watching her brush the hair away and he smiled at her. "I didn't even notice, thanks." His eyes met hers, and after shifting just slightly to place one knee on the ground he reached over with his good hand, lightly touching one of the stars on her forehead. "The stars are pretty, not as pretty as you, but close." It seemed that even in the awkward position of having one hand in a pond Orion still found a way to flirt.

This was rather...close. Intimate, almost, her face only inches from his. What had she been thinking!? And now she couldn't even stand up without looking like a total idiot. ...Not that she minded, actually, being this close to him was kinda nice. He wasn't exactly ugly, after all!
She smiled sweetly in response to his gratitude, and it spread to a wider, warmer smile as her eyes fluttered upwards, following his hand as it gently brushed against one of her stars on her forehead. "Thanks," she responded in a quiet voice - not quite a whisper, but quiet none-the-less, though she wasn't sure why. She didn't really want to spoil the moment. "One for each of the five senses," she explained, though she doubted he cared that much, especially when she also fidgeted about a little, so she was kneeling on the ground instead of crouching - it was more comfortable that way.

Orion could feel feel the dirt start to dig into his tights as he knelt at the edge of the pond and it wasn't exactly pleasant, but he ignored it caught up in Eos. They were close enough that he could feel her soft breaths against his skin, it wouldn't take all that much to lean forwards and kiss her.
"You're welcome" His own voice was quieter, and a bit deeper than usual. It just seemed like a quiet moment. "That's clever" He commented on the stars, but it was more of an off hand comment, his gray eyes having wandered down to look at her lips. The red head began to lean forwards going in for the kiss, his good hand moved to cup her cheek which put all off his weight on his burnt hand that was resting on mud. Unfortunately for him mud wasn't all that stable and right before he pressed his lips against his hand slipped out from under him, the rest of his body following and he fell into the pond with a splash. As he fell he reached out trying to grab something to catch himself, and he felt his fingertips brush cloth but he wasn't able to get a good grip.
Surfacing he sputtered, spitting dirty pond water out of his mouth. He was completely soaked, his red hair plastered to his forehead. "Damn it."

He was being quieter too. Eos liked that - it added to the moment, the atmosphere. This was the climax of the romantic novel, when the heroine finally admitted her undying love and fell into the warm embrace of her prince. Except...y'know, she'd only just met this guy and neither of them really had a clue who the other was. But it was still jsut as exciting, just as forbidden. And Eos loved it, it was a thrill she'd never quite experienced before.
Off-handed comments were made but she wasn't really listening, leaning in. She knew she shouldn't, but she so wanted to, and besides, no-one knew who she was. It was like a second life, she was a different person like this. ...And then he fell into the pond.
And she laughed. Harder than she'd actually thought possibly.
Rolling backwards so she was sitting, her hands came down to try to stem her stomach's movement as she burst into peals of laughter, one hand shooting up to quieten them for fear of catching the attention of a civilian. What an odd sight to find indeed. Laughter disappated to gleeful giggles as Sailor Eos sat herself up a little better, legs under her body as she leaned forwards to offer a hand to Orion, to help him out of the pond. She pondered for a moment whether her fuku cleaned itself - the pale-coloured dress was filthy from sitting in the mud, and she was sure her glove would soon be once Orion had accepted her hand. That'd be difficult to explain, if Scottie found that in the wash.
"That," she giggled, unable to steady her voice, "Was epic."

Orion turned to look at the laughing girl and arched a brow, which probably made him look more comical than he already was, soaked in pond water. "Oh yeah laugh it up." He seemed truly disgruntled for a short moment, but then he grinned laughing a bit. Okay, so it was pretty funny if he ignored the fact that he was cold, wet, and hadn't gotten to kiss her.
He was starting to get himself out of the pond when he saw her hand. "Thanks." Reaching out he took it, and for a moment he played with the idea of pulling her into the pond with him. He dismissed it after realizing that she probably wouldn't find it that funny and then he'd never have a chance with her. Careful not to pull her in, he pulled himself up with her help and walked out of the pond, his boots squishing since they were filled with water.
"Epic fail maybe" He wrinkled his nose making a face, and then went over to a nearby tree. The red head leaned against the trunk as he lifted one foot so he could take off his boot and dump the water out of it. Once that was done he repeated the process on the other boot. Reaching up he pushed his hair out of his face as he leaned his back against the tree trunk. "I hope these things clean themselves." He tugged on his shirt indicating that he was talking about their fukus.

Laugh it up? She was certainly planning to. This was a mental image to keep for when she was feeling down. Eos was pretty certain that it would lift her spirits even in the depths of sadness. And he seemed to finally be agreeing, judging by that grin of his. A rather handsome grin...
He took her hand, and Eos managed a small smile. The thought that he might pull her in flickered through her mind for a moment, and she was actually fairly certain he would pull her in. She wasn't sure whether she would have minded - it would have been completely and utterly hilarious, although wet and cold and muddy in general. Fortunately, he didn't pull her in, and instead her white gloves just became discoloured to a lovely muddy brown. She glanced at them with a wrinkled nose, hoping they'd automatically clean themselves. Like the rest of her fuku.
"Is that your boots?" she asked, frowning in confusion at the squelching sound. That was...okay, that was gross. And his tights would be all wet and clingy and...ugh, she shuddered just thinking about it! Sailor Eos merely watched as the red head leaned against a tree trunk to empty his boots of water, though her eyes softened. He hoped they cleaned themselves, hmm? Yeah, she did too... The teen wasn't really thinking clearly as she approached Orion, hands fiddling with each other a little shyly, before one hand reached up, moving towards his face before pausing mid-air.
"You...you've got a bit of dirt..." she whispered quietly, before moving her hand to brush the dirt away. What she didn't count on was her gloves being so muddy, she actually smeared more dirt onto his face. Great, nice one.

He didn't bother to answer her when she asked about his boots. He figured it was obvious, he was soaked to the bone after all. Once he had dumped the excess water out of his boots he felt a little better. His tights (which didn't end at the ankle but instead encased his entire foot) were still soaking wet, and clinging to him and he could tell he smelt like pond water, so there was no completely comfortable in his near future. A little comfortable was about all he was going to get.
His gray eyes watched as Sailor Eos approached him, flicking down to her hands which didn't seem like they could stop moving and then to her face. He waited, watching her as she reached out towards him.
And then they were whispering again, only this time he was up against a tree so there was no chance of him falling in the pond. He hesitated before he reached out and rested his gloved, muddy hands on her hips. He didn't want to get her dress dirty, but the urge to touch her won out. He didn't move as she went to brush away the dirt, but he could feel her wet glove spreading dirt across his cheek. He didn't mention it, not caring how dirty she got him. "Thanks," His voice was quiet and husky.
Orion stared into the shorter girl's eyes for a long moment before he decided to stop dancing around what he wanted to do and just do it. With a gentle tug he pulled her closer to him and then bent down, pressing his cold, slightly wet lips against her warmer ones.

Oh, at last, screamed her head, whislt her heart put up a small fight before just giving in, along with the rest of her body. Sailor Eos seemed to freeze for a moment, not responding, almost as if she were surprised. But then she leaned forwards with a small groan, practically falling into the boy as she enjoyed what, if she was being totally honest with herself, she'd been waiting for.
She shuffled closer and closer, giving a small shudder as a cool breeze swept through the park. The sky had darkened considerably, both with clouds and as the sun sank fully under the horizon. The dampness from Sailor Orion wasn't helping much, either. Hands slowly crept up, wrapping themselves around his neck as Sailor Eos - not Selena, they were two different people right now, two different identities - abandoned all reasoning and continued the kiss eagerly.

Hearing her groan sent a shudder straight down Orion's spine. The little (or not so little) noises a girl made always got to him. She was warmer than he was, of course she hadn't fallen into the pond. His arms slipped around her, holding her close to him, taking pleasure in the warmth of her body, and just how it felt pressed against him. He felt her hands wrap around his neck and he was tempted to lift her up so she could wrap her legs around his waist. He was stayed by the fact that he was wet and she was in a dress, it would be more uncomfortable for her and he wasn't one to make a girl uncomfortable.
He deepened the kiss, nearly crushing her against him. He was trapped in the moment, in a swirl of pleasure and heat and general euphoria. He had forgotten about his sore back, and his burnt fingers, focusing just on the kiss.

He wrapped his hands around her waist, and the added dampness sent another shiver through her spine. The air was growing cold with no sun to warm it, and as he held her closer still she made other small noises of content and surprise at the strength and passion he was using. He was really getting into it, and her heart gave a happy little flutter at the thought.
Sailor Eos had to breath, however, and with a gasp she unwillingly broke the kiss, resting her forehead against his as she took a few deep breaths before mumbling, "You're going to break me."
He was holding her pretty tightly, to be fair, just on the verge of painful. It seemed...right, though. She was smiling, enjoying this. It was so intimate, so...forbidden. She loved it, it was like she was in her own romance novel. Another breeze, another shiver sent down her spine, the senshi clutching Orion a little closer, "It's cold."

He almost was disappointed when Eos pulled away, but he knew he needed air and a kiss couldn't last forever. He grinned, his eyes half shut, his breathing heavy. Her words made him laugh, "Sorry, cutie." He shifted his grip not letting her go, but loosening it ever so slightly so he didn't hurt her.
The red head shuddered as the breeze flowed over them, and he started rubbing her back, and the sides of her arms. "I know, I should probably let you go, it's probably not helping that I'm all wet." Contrary to his words he didn't let her go, he wouldn't until she pulled away. Instead he gave her a light kiss then leaned his head back against the tree, he tried to think of somewhere they could go where it would be warmer. His car was out, it was flashy and rememberable and he wasn't quite comfortable with the idea of anyone being able to connect his normal identity with his senshi identity. He didn't have any other ideas, it's not like they could walk around and look for a make-out spot while they were powered up.

Cutie? It sounded so normal, like what they were doing was something everyone did. Which, hey, she never knew, maybe all Senshi got it on in the park after a battle - she doubted it, though. He loosened his grip, giving her more room to breath, and in return she gave him a grateful smile. The smile soon changed to a look of surprise, shortly followed by giggles, when he began rubbing her arms and back to try and warm her up. "No, don't! That tickles!" she giggled, pushing herself away from him gently, trying to occupy his hands with her own instead, slipping her slender fingers into his larger...manlier hands.
She tried to make the light kiss last a little longer, leaning back into him again, but broke it when she realized he hadn't been planning on that. Her face was flushed from the recent...activities. As he leaned his head back against the tree, an oddly thoughtful expression crossed his face, and Sailor Eos smiled, giving his hands a squeeze. "What're you thinking?" she asked, more out of curiosity than because she was being nosey.

It was so simple what they were doing, making out against a tree in a park, him inadvertently tickling her and then holding hands, it seemed so...natural. He grinned as she giggled, but he decided to be nice and not try to tickle her to death, instead he squeezed her hands gently as their fingers interlaced. He glanced down at their hands, both wearing gloves and smiled slightly. Sometimes he still got surprised that he was a senshi.
As he pulled away from the kiss the red head could feel the shorter girl trying to draw it out. He smiled widely, giving her hands another gentle squeeze. A minute went by before he felt her squeeze his hands and heard her voice. "Hm?" He lifted his head and looked down at her. His brain backtracked to what she asked him. "Oh, I was just trying to think of where we could go to warm you up." He grinned and leaning down kissed her forehead, then the tip of her nose, and finally her mouth. He let his lips linger for a long moment before he pulled away just enough to speak. "Wouldn't want you catching a cold."
