Gold and silver are technically colours, too? Unsure about Crystal, but Ruby and Sapphire as well. Pearl, yes... Diamond... eh. Platinum is a colour.

i jumped when i saw the city. "******** at the new battles. Looks same, all they have is shadows now.
The new trainers could use work.

I can't say.
I haven't truly paid attention to the games since Ruby/Sapphire. I played all of Diamond, then went back the other day and I can't remember any of it. Yet somehow I have a team of high leveled guys and every badge.
As long as yellow was memorable to you?I remember loving it because it was the first pokemon to be in full colour. not black/white. not shades of blue or red. FULL. COLOUR.

Well in all technicality, Nurse Joy doesn't have pink hair? She had red hair. (Well, reddish pink.) So it's actually closer to her. In style too.

Yes, we shall now all shun you. @mea: I still think it would be better even if it is not normally how they name games. Its not Yin Yang because Japan is not China. Though version mascots will probably involve Yin and Yang, lol. I think the 3D perspective is neat for overworld, not really necessary for battles. Unless they do crazy special effects and stuff. Speech bubbles is stupid and pointless. Don't really like new characters designs, but they aren't terrible.

Well, I'm confused about the new starters.  The body structure of the left two suggest grass types, though the middle one might be electric... The tail on the far right one suggests water typing. I think the middle one may actually be a grass typed Pikachu clone. Except for the fact that it's a starter. As for a fire type, I'm leaning towards the one on the left, though it still looks like a grass type to me. Warning: Pure Speculation follows. I may actually go out on a limb and say that the standard Fire/Water/Grass triangle will not be respected this generation. And these Pokemon will start out as different types (basic stage will be something other than fire/grass/water), and that they will grow into Fire/Grass/Water Pokemon. Kinda like how Marshtomp is Water/Ground. But these Pokemon would be something cool like Ground/Water. Anywhoo...any comments?

The starters for awhile end up evolving into Pokemon with two types; that won't go away. I doubt they'd do that for starters, though.
IMO, left is grass. Tail looks like leaves. Looks like some sort of weird lizard, or otter thing, idk. Although, it COULD be water, (looks like it would have the shape for swimming, and tail cold be fins). It could also easily be fire, (and looks like it more than the others), but that would be WAY too close to Charmander. Face also looks like it could have a beak.
Middle looks like water for me. Looks like some sort of pig rabbit... thing. idklol. Looks RETARDED. >;
Last could srsly be anything. Just based on what I think of the other two, I'd go with fire. But the tail looks like a beavers or otters... so idk. Could also be a bird, but it looks like it would be way too close to Piplup. Also, my guess is this will be the new 'cute' Pokemon. (piplup, torchic, etc)
TL;DR THEY ALL LOOK DUMB
