Kard frowned. It was a relief that things didn't go south, but this person was a bit of a jerk. Though it was rude to tell that to a lady he was very free to think it. Knight yawned and continued forward at his pilot's command. He couldn't care less how fast they went, he was just happy to be moving again.

Still no sign of Ander at this point. The sands remained unturned and there was no mucking his from Saga. Everything was quiet once more, but a most unsettling quiet. something on the air was not right...

Marcia sighed, no Ander still. What the hell was taking him...

Catastrophe was heading back to the canyon but before he slipped inside he paused and Growled though it was different from his irritated growl, it was more angry and territorial.

"What is it?" she asked eying the scanners. There hasn't been so much as a blip on them. Marcia tensed on the controls. The kid had moved off without so much as a second glance, that couldn't be what the zoid was growling about, What was it.

Catastrophe surveyed the area, the air was still and dead, There was nothing moving out there. Marcia too was suspicious. It was like a calm before a battle.

The temperature seemed to drop a little as a swift southward wind blew over the lands. Sands shifted by the force of the wind, but still no sign of the former king of bandits.

Scanners would start to malfunction, sensors and video feed from anything would also begin to prove useless. Sitting blind in the day light, or what was left of it.

Dark clouds begun to mass overhead. The menacing clouds thickened above and soon threatened to pour rain mercilessly on the desert floor.

Maria glanced back at Catastrophe's sensors noticing the temperature drop but shortly after it seemed as though they just simply went down. She couldn't see anything but what the Zoid could see. Not to mention the rolling clouds came in rather fast... Marcia didn't like the look of this. "I wish I had your senses.." Marcia spoke to the zoid quietly still surveying the Area constantly, including the sands.

Catastrophe just continued to growl menacingly at whatever was out there. Though he was quite pleased at the concept of a battle.

they looked like thunderclouds, and rain was about to pour down any moment to parch the empty sands. But still this was a bad omen something was going to happen.

The clouds burst with a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning. At the moment the sky was illuminated a rather large snake-like ZOID erupted from the sands a few miles away. Details were hard to see from the distance.

It plowed back into the sands, but not before firing a few charged shots from what looked to be a head at the end of its tail. Behind the shadowy ZOID a large plume of black fog quickly perused. A nightmarish screech echoed over the sands.

White flames spewed from the fog toward the fleeing serpent, just barely missing its tail.

Catastrophe roared as soon as the snake-zoid broke the surface the thunder seemed to enhance Catastrophe's great roar.

though right after the snake Zoid the one thing that Marcia noticed was that familiar and eerie black fog, the same Fog from the attack. Things couldn't get any worse seeing as they were headed directly toward the Bio zoid. Marcia shivered after hearing the Roar and Agumo squeaked fearfully, he didn't want to be anywhere near whatever was coming.

Catastrophe on the other had was undisturbed. But that wasn't too much of a surprise. There was nothing it seemed this zoid feared

As they drew near the sands begun to shift under the strain of the oncoming Saga. The fog gaining on it quickly. Blazing eyes could be seen inside the thick fog, all four embodying they very essence of fear. They seemed to be peering right into Marcia, judging her.

White flame shot from its mouth again with a loud screech. It was becoming more obvious that whatever was in the fog was herding Saga rather than trying to obliterate it.

Ander had tried to send a warning to Marcia to flee, but the com-link would not get through to the bone ZOID.

Catastrophe realized as the hidden sand zoid was Saga he remembered what it looked like from long ago. Catastrophe roared again.

"It's Saga!" Marcia said final realizing the zoid, it seemed as though it was herding the chimera zoid though instead now. It still hasn't given up the grudge from before it seemed.

Marcia shivered again as she saw the eyes of the monstrous zoid from behind Saga, Fear stuck her heart suddenly like never before, She was about to turn and run as he instincts told her to. There was something she didn't want to find out about that fog covered Zoid but a sound stubborn growl from catastrophe caused her not to.

Catastrophe stated moving back due to Saga's approach, but that was all the ground he gave, he wouldn't let something like that intimidate him. Not in the least... Catastrophe roared at the Zoid in the fog.

"I wish I had your confidence." Marcia steadied her hands on the controls. "You're going to be the death of me one day I know it." she gave a light broken chuckle to her partner. She would have told Ander to keep going if the coms were working... But She couldn't which was a pain. Catastrophe's mouth suddenly began to glow as it prepared to attack...

Suicide? Definitely... but Maybe Ander could get away. He must know something the monster behind him didn't want anyone else to know.

Saga had its sights on ramming Catastrophe out of the way before it did something it would regret, but black fog engulfed the tail and soon the entire ZOID. The instant the tail was touched by the first bit of black fog the entire colossus of a ZOID shut down. Marcia would be able to see the horns of the ZOID protruding from the sands. The rest of the ZOID created a nice mound in the wet sands.

Jury continued forward for the bone ZOID with the back fog in the lead. It let out another banshee like screech.

The clouds above again released a terrible clap of thunder with a brilliant display of purple and white bolts of lightning.

Marcia gawked in surprise as Saga suddenly froze it's horns protruding from the sands, that was something she hadn't seen before. She suddenly remembered the fear that has struck her before. This.. wasn't going to turn out well.

Catastrophe roared releasing the black fires from it's mouth.

"This isn't the time for you to be stubborn." she growled at the zoid. Running would be a good idea, but then what would happen to Ander? s**t. This may or may not work. Most likely the latter but it was better than leaving and running like a coward, Catastrophe wouldn't forgive her either if she ran. Marcia's hands shook that thing terrified her for some unknown reason, maybe it was the fact it took Saga down with little effort at all...

Catasrophe took a few steps forward and his jaws snapped around saga's horn gears sounded as the bone zoid started trying to pull Saga free, as though it would toss the other large zoid over itself and away...

That fog would probably overtake them both before they could... Damn.

The black fog completely engulfed the attack as it stretched out toward the bone ZOID. It gave it no chance to even approach the downed Saga before every shred of consciousness was taken from the aggressive ZOID and organoid.

The ground would begin to crack and pillars of fire would pelt the cockpit of the ZOID. Or that what it would seem like in any case. The pilot would begin to feel an immense heat followed by terrible screams of agony coming from outside the cockpit of the ZOID. People, familiar people crying out in pain for some unknown reason. Everything would get pitch black as the fog thickened.

As if the screaming were not enough it would than begin to sound as if something was scratching the outside of the cockpit to get in. Scratching and growling like a rabid animal.

It would seem as though hell was unleashed outside of the cockpit...
PostPosted: Tue Apr 27, 2010 1:01 am

Everything went black as catastrophe No where close enough to even grab Saga, Marica glared quietly outside for a moment Catastrophe's screens were even switched off, she was basically blind entirely inside the cockpit at the mercy of whatever was out there. Though the heat was suddenly increasing.

"Agumo!" she called to the organoid wondering if he was off as well, after a few moments there was no answer. Damn... Was there even a way for the little zoid to wake and get them out of here, and was there anything she could do? Suddenly it seemed as though the entire zoid shook. What on Zi was going on out there?! Wasn't it just black fog?

Something was scratching at catastrophe's Armor... Marcia grabbed a knife, And wiped the sweat off her brow. It was bloody hot as though there was an entire inferno outside... Damnit, she couldn't see a thing. She was suddenly afraid of what she couldn't see. She was trapped and so was her partners, the coms didn't even work. She could only wait... Marcia gripped the knife tightly.

Jury loomed over the downed bio ZOID. Fire poured from its nostrils as it snorted at the sight. It could have easily sliced the ZOID there, ended the lives of both pilots. It could have, but it didn't. Their judgment was not to be passed yet, not in this manner.

The fog thickened and begun to swirl wildly. Both pilots of both ZOIDs would begin to feel consciousness slipping away from them. Soon the world would be black and all feeling of the world would be gone for the moment.

Fate would now decide the next step in this cruel turn of events...

The scratching at catastrophe's cockpit seemed to increase but it seemed as though they couldn't get in, it was a scare tactic. if that was the case... maybe... Marcia couldn't finish her thought the feeling of heat increased exponentially again and it weighed heavily on her mind. Marcia found herself gasping for breath but not finding any. She dropped her knife as her hands suddenly felt numb as though they didn't belong to her anymore... Things kept coming in and out of focus, that weight on her mind continued to increase as she continued to fight it to stay awake.

She had to keep fighting it that monster out there. Though she still felt herself slipping regardless. The amount of time she could keep herself awake continued to shorted until she finally collapsed forward on catastrophe's control panel and didn't stir aside her slightly elevated breathing and heart beat. She couldn't sense anything anymore...

Ander shook his head as the wold came back to him. The colors blurred together before any shape could be made out. He winced at the bright flicker of fire on either side of him and Marcia...

This was not Saga's cockpit. The room was fairly large with four tall columns in every corner of the room. They were positioned between the two columns on the far end of the room away from the two doors. At least the shadow made them look like doors. There were strange symbols on the walls. Most notably was the one on the wall behind the two. A strange four armed creature above a mass of fire spewing creatures.

Ander looked around and caught sight of the rogue he had run into countless times before. Perhaps it was not such a good thing their fate seemed to be so entwined. Ander was one to believe that everything happens for a reason, but why was this happening. And why didn't the black fog take their lives?

"Marcia, wake up..." Ander struggled to get up and see if she was alright, but found it impossible to move. When he got a better look at Marcia he could see thick and thin rope used to bind her to a loop in the floor. He struggled again. He was bound the same way... Hands, feet, even fingers were bound so that it would be impossible to use them.

"M-" He started to call her again, but than the sound of foot steps echoed thought the torch lit room. Someone was coming.
