It pisses me off how the arenas isn't.. the way it used to be.
And there's no originality and it's nothing but remakes of
previous submissions. They think that if it didn't make it in the
top ten, they're safe. :/ Freakin assholes.

Oh don't worry. I called him out on it (in a non-threatening way...more like a "oh that's pretty interesting how you did that") and some friends voiced their opinions on it and he deleted his entry...also I happened to lose a fave that day too. ):
I've only placed twice on the arena, 6th (Archangel Tyrael from Diablo 2/3) and 5th (Wing Zero Custom). Both being cosplays so meh...original is too scary for me to submit myself to that. I'm just glad I was able to become the first gundam cosplay to place, ever.

I came very close to placing the first and last time I entered the arena, but then towards the end of it all I think
I was hit with a hoard of CB-ers and their 1-ratings. It sucks
how biased everyone is nowadays.

I'm tempted to start my own AvA thread and have people
join it, win things, and everything float legit-like.

I don't think I've ever entered original arenas...I can't compete with some of that creativity. I don't have the patience for it. D:
Cosplay is easy...as far as knowing what you want to make. The layering/item searching is the b***h...plus doing something that's new and exciting...LIKE WING ZERO CUSTOM. D<
My next one, if Gaia ever releases an item that makes it work, will be the Big O. O: All I need is the arms.
As for the AvA section...I dunno. I can see that going wrong with either claims of favoritism or some form of foul play and yeah. D: I figure it's best just to leave it alone.

I'm not really the advertising type though. I usually just tell friends and put it in my status. D: Then as people say they like it I mention that it's in the arena. Tyrael would have been better if there were like...white back tentacle type things...because that's how they portray his wings in Diablo. Zero's main problem was just me having to use "the next best thing" as far as items went. Because if it had been how I wanted it to be it would have looked like this:
