Panther took off for the water and walked around it, carefully, glancing over to make sure that Kofuku was fallowing. He spotted Cal not far off but it looked like she was paired up with some science looking guy. He turned instead taking a different water route, looking for the easiest way to navigate. Mud and twigs crushed up around his boots as he made his way. Ahead he spotted a sideways stump and walked over to it and climbed up to get a survey of the swampy area.

Cal nodded at his comment, having Skye in the swamp was a bad idea. She had already been shocked more times than she could remember and knowing the Pikachu, he'd do it on purpose. "Blossom it is." She smiled to herself taking the Ivysaur's ball in hand and pulling herself up a tree to survey the area. She couldn't see much from her position so she sighed and climbed down.

Still holding the ball, she looked up at Mau, "I chose to be here. I haven't done much in the way of missions." She released Blossom in a glow of light. "We are looking for a Feraligatr." She started a side conversation with the Ivysaur, "Be on the look out." Blossom simply nodded and looked up at the Mau. "He's a friend." She smiled before turning her attention to Mau, "Why did you decide to come," she gestured at the surroundings, "here?"

Cal was caught by surprise with Mau's sudden action. "U-uh... Thanks." It was true that she could see better and farther from up there, but all she saw was the swamp. "Blossom, I thing I saw something over there." She pointed in away from where Aki had went, "Go check it out."

"Saur?" Blossom, reluctant to leave Cal alone with Mau, headed in the direction she had pointed out. She sniffed the air, looking for a scent, but it was unlikely that she would smell anything other that the smelly swamp.

Cal made sure Blossom was always in sight just in case she needed her to came back to them in a hurry. "So you work in the lab? Figured." She giggled thinking about how dirty his white lab coat must be getting.

It seemed that Damon had misgivings about being partnered with Zach and instead wanted to be with Yugi. This caused Seth's temper to flare. "This is not a high school popularity contest! If you can't accept what you're told then you don't need to be here!"

Damon was then excused from the mission and made to sit in the vehicles until the training mission was over.

It seemed that Zach would have to partner up with Yugi or find someone else.

When Damon decided he wanted to pair with Yugi, he breathed an inner sigh of relief. However, he knew that Seth wouldn't abide with it, and was therefore unsurprised when Damon was yelled at and subsequently sent to wait with the vehicles.

He then looked at Yugi, and started to panic, there was no way in hell he was going to pair up with him! He thought it didn't get any worse with Damon, but this guy looked twice as wimpy and likely had the same little issues as Damon since Damon was so insistent about pairing up with him.

He started looking around frantically, hoping to find someone... ANYone to pair up with besides him.

Then, salvation appeared.Like a Ho-oh descended from the sky, another grunt appeared, with bunearys and nidorans frolicking around his feet and kirlias blaring trumpets sounding his entry. Truly, this was a blessing sent by Arceus itself.

Zach noticed that grunt had a few pokemon on him already, to his relief. He would probably make a capable ally, and Zach made no hesitation to go up to him.
"HimynameisZachdoyoustillneedapartner?Icanbeyourpartnerifyouwant!Let'sgotime'sawasting." And with that he tried to grab his arm and practically drag him in another direction from the other groups to go scouting out the marsh.

Kofuku listened to her partner a bit, then grinned a little. "Hey, I have some smoke and flash bombs I made... do you think those might work a little in spooking things out into the open?" She wasn't sure how Seth would look at those tactics, but she was more concerning herself with trying to get that Shiny Fraligatr.

Touching the pokeball that held Hercules, she wondered if she could get the rambunctious pokemon to listen enough to search the murky swamp waters for them.

That sounded like a reasonable excuse to hold off on the flash bomb; still they did need some way to search around where they couldn't get to. Stepping around the spot Panther had lost half his leg into, she bit her pinkie nail. "Do you have any small food on you?" Perhaps she'd be able to bribe Hercules into cooperating this one time.

"I always have food on me. I have chips and energy bars and water and soda and pokemon treats. Take your pick." he got himself on solid ground and glanced around once more. "Do you need it now?" he saw mud, more mud some half fallen trees, more trees and weeds everywhere.
