Seth sighed, it wasn't like that, he wasn't in it for revenge, but if you'd been killed and then forced to come back to life you'd want to know who it was too right?

Seth didn't want to go looking for a fight, he'd learned a good while ago that his powers where no suited for fighting, if only for defending himself. And even then it just let to someone getting angrier at him later once he woke up or remembered.

"Look it's not like that" His brief upstart faded away as he put his hands back in his pockets and stared hard at Seamus' shoes. "It was a misunderstanding, I just want to know who the guy is." He gaze returned to Seamus' face. "I'm not looking to pick a fight" He added.

Seamus hesitated, frowning. Valeriu didn't mind other Godlings knowing of his existence; as long as they didn't know where he lived, he was fine. Though that might've changed since the last time Prince had laid down the rules for them.

"Vale," he relented, figuring that was safe enough. "His name's Vale. I knew him back before this whole mess started, a good kid. His god ain't one of the nice ones, either."

He tapped on the still-healing scars on his cheek, the slashes creasing his face as he grinned ruefully.

"A bit of a feral cat, I s'pose. As I said, please, fer the love of Mick, definitely don't go lookin' for him, 'kay? I'd rather you not end up dead again. Ya seem like a swell kid despite the whole-" he waved his hands for emphasis, resembling some movements out of Peter Pan. "-drug thing."

Seth nodded as Seamus spoke, he had sort of known a little of this, he'd mainly been hoping to learn some places the guy hung out, not so he could find him, but rather avoid him on his rare wanderings outside of the scene.

He took it from one of those lines that Seamus was sort of knew, though after Vale didn't narrow it down much to 'new' per se.

"I don't want to find him, believe, I've had enough of this kind of stuff..." His gaze fell to his shoes. Seths main focus had been for a while know finding a way to get his heart back, and finding the guy who ate it might have been a start, though he didn't want to chance it any time soon, he had his own scar to prove it.

"Really?"

Well. Actually, that wasn't so surprising, considering. The Game, ultimately, was a pretty miserable thing unless you were a heartless b*****d. These poor kids were pretty much tricked into joining in - dazzled with fame and glory and power, and then hit with reality. Unlike his goddess, the majority of the other gods in the Game intended to win, by any means.

And hell, though Seth appeared just a few years younger than him, he couldn't resist ruffling his hair (and wings) like he might scuff up a ten-year-old. (Still did it to Vale, and Tepin when he saw her, and Quinn on the occasion when the little b*****d wasn't being a complete d**k.)

"Cheer up, Seth! I know it's harsh, but this whole damn city is pretty harsh, too, ya know? You're stuck with it, but you seem like a kid who can make somethin' outta nothin' if he had half the mind to do it." Admittedly, using that power of mind and know-how for dealing drugs wasn't exactly what he meant, but Seth looked smart, just lacked the drive.

"Maybe you should take up some B-vitamins," he added, helpfully.

Good for energy. Kid looked like he was seriously missing some sleep.

"Yeah...?" He was sort of surprised that Seamus was surprised. Truth be told, his God's stance on the whole Game thing was he was doing it all as a favour to his brother, apparently that warranted completely F'ing up his whole life from birth. Also wings on his head.

A pep talk wasn't something he was expecting, but he supposed people who didn't know him would immediately think he looked constantly depressed. Or being treated like a kid. His head wings beat and ruffled up again like the invisible bird lodged in his head was angry at being touched.

"Yeah yeah, I know how I look, I've got other stuff on my mind"

Vitamins? "I don't need stuff like that, really" Regardless of how bizarre his sleep schedule was, or how he looked, he felt fine.

"Right, right," he laughed, tickled by how offended Seth looked. "No offense meant, none at all." He held up his hands as if to placate the ruffled feathers.

"Unfortunately, I really gotta get goin' 'fore my idjit of a brother starts worrying." He held out a hand to shake, grinning far more easily than when the conversation began. "It's been nice talkin' to ya, Seth. And I meant it - you ever run into trouble, just ask 'round for the Carnegie twins, okay?"

He'd make sure to apprise Murphy of the situation so that the man didn't slam any doors on any faces. He did that enough to Seamus already for going and getting into the Game without him.

Should'a been you what been the sick one! Then I'd've gotten a hot goddess of my very own, but no!

Right.

Aware nothing was threatening them any more, the head wings returned to their neutral position partly tucked back on his head, though still perfectly visible against his hair. Seth didn't say anything, the blank face he had was usually enough, not that he even had anything to say in response.

"All right, I guess I'll see you some time" Seth took his hand, though careful to suppress his natural sleepiness as best he could, direct contact to him tended to really suck to energy out of people who didn't see it coming. "It's nice to know not everyone in the game is a complete jerk"

So far the track record very much leaned towards the jerk side of the scale.

With Seamus gone, it wasn't long before Seth was being surrounded by eager customers who'd been waiting patiently.
