Dont do anything stupid mister... I thought to myself as he walked passed me. My glass shattered and spilled my lemonade on the counter. "hmph..." "Sorry made a little mess here" I held my hand as if still holding the cup and formed an ice cup to replace my broken one. "and nah my skins a little tough thankfully, refill please?" I asked handing Dark the ice cup "no ice"

"I had forgotten you had ice powers.." He said as he took the glass, shivering at the touch. The misty fog around it was somewhat mesmerizing but he ignored staring at it as he moved over the counter to pour some lemonade. "anyways, no harm. This is his tavern so we'll let the stuff stain the counter. Here." He put the cup in front of Dawn, and took a seat once again on the counter. "Don't take it too personal, though. Heyen has a keen eye for figuring species out. He probably knew that you were a vampire. Fact is, Heyen and incubus so he gets rather...defensive. You know how most vampires use their appeal and power of seduction to pull girls in, guys if they swing that way.." But the thought made him shudder. "I know you know what an Incubus is, so having a male vampire around kind of you know..interferes with his nature."

"Yea I see what you mean." I said taking a sip of lemonade. It was pretty refreshing coming from an ice cup. "Well its fine, not like I got the 'appealing' power, instead I..." The word enemy still echoed in the back of my mind, I was in a fairly good mood despite falling from a exploding pirate ship. I was already used to getting into meaningless fights since before I turned into a hybrid vamp alt but still... "...instead I got a different ability. No worries" I said with a smile and relaxed my body shifting my weight to one side

"I know. But to Heyen you're just another vampire that can possiblytake his girls. He doesn't know you." He paused, and looked across the room. Even though he didn't think he was feeling buzzed. It was still mid-day. Not much time has past, and there still wasn't any activity in the city. Guess he was grateful.. "What have you found in your travels anyways, Clown?" Ever since Dark maintained his home in the mountains he hadn't traveled much. He considered leaving for a moment but a part of him now wanted to relax. Besides, he still had to make sure Northeast Sanctum was kept within the barrier. The last time a mage died the barrier wavered and the Mayor, out of desperation, called him back. Since then he's stayed here. "Any new swords you found interest in?"

"Hmm..." I sat up straight and looked down at my cup as I poked my head trying to remember everything that has happened. "Well, after our last battle, once everything settled down I went to look for my brother. Found him running an Odd Jobs gig and a ramen shop with his wife in a small town in the outskirts of the ruins of Bellad. I stayed with them for a little while but I felt like I was intruding to much so I packed up and left." I smiled remembering Zero and his wife, both still so young yet so happy, they were what I hoped for in the future. "After that I wandered around for a bit in the west, in the land of fire where a fight would break out almost every day. The TransCity Highways were packed with bikers and thugs, saw Ceriux for a bit there in Spike City running a bike shop, and a black market for Bebo. Oh and Bebo is apparently the owner of a large underground black market haha." Bebo was the only one I hadnt bumped into, then again he liked to remain elusive. There was also Ecks, I could have found him but part of me wanted to leave him alone. "I didnt stay there long tho. I participated in a few street fights there to earn some cash, and to practice the Flame Fist that Zero taught me. I got me a motorcycle and rode across the country to the snowy east. I know, I could have flown but felt like riding for a change." I puased to think for a second before I continued... "In the east, I was drawn into a war between two families. A ninja family and a samurai family. I somehow ended up being recruited by a old man running a merc group. They were neutral and sent people to the higher bidder. I was recognized in the battles and the old man sent my on a mission with his daughter, a ninja, and werewolf twins one boy and the other girl. But it was a trap... while we were out the ninjas attacked the old man and slaughtered him in his own home, along with the rest of his men. By the time we got back it was too late. I helped bury the dead and left after that." I tightened my grip on the cup then, "... I killed the head ninja of the family and went in a rampage killing the rest of the clan, the samurai suddenly attacked in the middle of the chaos. I almost killed the head samurai but he surrendered, I calmed down once I saw the samurai shooting their flares signaling their defeat. The daughter took charge of the remaining people and united them under one flag, by then I was flying down south towards the dark barren waste land filled with demons. I got alot of attention down there... many demons came after me, wasn't even fun after a a few days of non stop fighting. Thats when I learned a new skill related to my unique blood line, during a fight somehow I turned my sword into a fang like large sword, and its property is that it sucks energy into me unconditionaly without stop from everything thats alive around me." I took another sip and remember the next thing that happened. "Ugh it was right after that that I met a succubus..." I let out a sigh and shook my head. "But nevermind that, I'll just say I traveled around with her for a while till one day when a bunch of demons were trying to eat a little fairy girl, I saved her and let her stay with me. She started saying something about wanting to be my familiar, that didnt suit well with the succubus and they started arguing. I told them if I could just make them both my familiars but the got pissed off with me and decided they would leave. Before they left they left their 'mark' on me so I can find them whenever I want once I've made my decision. Still havent ha, but I was thinking about it a few days ago, fell asleep thinking about it then got captured by the pirates and woke up in a cell. I'm sure Im leaving out alot of details but whatever. Once I woke up, well... you know the rest. Kaboom free fall from the atmospere.." with one last gulp I finished my lemonade and but the ice cup down.

His mind wandered and pictured most of the scenes and travels that Dawn was telling him off. Ceriux owning a bike shop, and Bebo and underground black market was suited them well enough. Ecks with own agenda was very much like him. But Zero and a wife was something he couldn't see and something that he wouldn't see lasting for a long time? Why? Human nature. It was difficult to come across such things but that was only his opinion.. Hearing it all just reminded Dark of his own life prior to Sanctum but after Grailsbane. It was rather nostalgic but everything comes to fade to nothing over time. Such is the cycle. The story of the ninja and samurai went with little interest on Dark's end but he still listened intently. His lemonade was gone so he had gone to the other side to pour some more lemonade for himself as he heard the Clown continue on. A group of individuals had begun fussing within the tavern, but Heyen had immediately moved to take care of them within two minutes. A couple of more had jumped in but Heyen would not be over powered by drunks, especially human ones. Dark never strayed from listening to his friend, though. When he heard of the Succubus Dark almost froze, staring at his drink with distant past. The scar across his left eye would always remind him of Suki the Succubus from long ago. After returning to his village post his Intermediate year he had not seen her ago. He doubted that she was the same one he had met, but the demon name was enough to spike a hint of his anger. He had no true reason to hate her other than the trauma he had experienced as a child. She was the only one alive from back then as far as he knew so it was no mystery why he held some distaste towards her. She never marked him, saying back then that he was far too young, but that didn't stop her from staining his soul. Sooner or later she's bound to come for his soul, so he figured. Once again he moved over the counter to grab the pitcher of lemonade, never minding have to go back and forth just to get a glass whether it be for himself or for Dawn. He poured more on the cup, halfway only in case if he wasn't thirsty at all. "Sounds like you had a load of fun. Makes me want to leave Sanctum again, but I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon." Northeast Sanctum was still a nightmare to the humans who resided here; even some demons, who have grown accustomed to this life and lost most of their fighting instincts, fear what lies behind the destroyed ruins of Northeast. "I'm not really surprised that your sword turned to a fang with that certain ability. Think about it, how many times have you linked your Solstice into your blade? Energy is the manifestation of one's ability, and look at your breed. A special kind of vampire/Nosferatu hybrid that is able to suck the life and power of an individual with your fangs. Your sword could have adapted to your Solstice and formed a fang with that certain ability. Of course, I'm thankful it happened when you were fighting demons rather than the ninja and samurai.." He took a sip of his lemonade, downing it in one chug. The sour sweetness caused his entire body to shudder. "I don't have to warn you I'm sure, though. Both you and me know the extent of your powers and abilities so try not to overdue it. All that power swirling inside of you is like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. That blood of yours is a danger more than a gift, always throwing you in a frenzy. Spontaneous combustion of that energy accumulated within your body can very well cause you to explode, or a worse death - you might transform to something grotesque and I'll kill you if I have to."

"Yea I guess... hey wait. How about you try to save me rather than kill me haha" I said with a cheesy grin. "And well little by little I'm managing to handle it all" I remembered the succubus and the fairy girl. It was fun traveling with them but the danger still remained. I thought that as long as I stayed away of fights or any battle fields we could keep traveling together but that didnt happen. I was still drawn to them. "If I go off, I'll do it with a bang" I said aiming a my hand like a gun at Dark

"Hard to keep myself from harm's way when you go wild.." Dark added, but he had to give a grin as well. He's had the same situations when he'll change, and his anger would cause him to go to Chaos Mode. Instability of emotions would often cause that. He finally put his glass down when his friend triggered his finger to shoot him. An amusing gesture like always. "How about a match of tennis?" He suggested and looked upon the spill of lemonade on the counter. It stopped dripping off and now just began to stain the counter. At least it wasn't liquor.

"Sure, havent played in a long time. I'll apologize in advance tho, I have no technique, I'm a slugger" I said with a smile still on my face. "It was over in the west right?" I asked as I got up and faced the exit. I turned to the Heyen fellow and waved goodbye, "sorry bout the mess mister"

"I'm well aware of that." Which is why I'll have to be careful..Dark's power swings were something to reckon. Everytime he saw the Clown swing that mighty sword of his it made Dark feel rather feeble. But in truth Dark always had more finesse. With a nod he assured Dawn, "West Sanctum. There's a skyway outside the tavern. Wait up so you don't press the wrong buttons." Before they left the tavern Heyen turned to give Dawn another cold glare, but said nothing even after the apology. Outside the tavern, and upon the alley next to it was a tubular skyway. He guided Dawn in it and paused as he looked over the abundance of buttons. Sometimes even he forget.. There was a row of buttons where on the far left there was an abbreviated WS which stood for West Sanctum. Beside that were the other abbreviations: TC, FF, SF, C and P - each meaning the individual places. Once he clicked the WS button it clicked and stayed so until he clicked their destination. "Hang on.." Dark warned before they were suddenly propelled through the ride in breakneck speed before it slowed down and guided them to the Tennis Courts.

Mitsuki walked into the tavern a few minutes before her shift. Over the past few years she had mostly gotten use to the nomaly overwhelming smell of alchol. She walked up to the counter and smiled at Heyen. "Good afternoon Heyen, am I working the usual tables today?" She asked. She glaced at the remnants of a freshly cleaned sticky stain on the counter but didn't mention it.

The moment Mitsuki entered the tavern, Heyen's gaze quickly rose above the counter to take hold of his employees face. "Ah, Mistuki. Love! So nice to see you." He called out, flipping over the counter and standing right next to her. His hands found her shoulders and he just looked at her brightly. "It feels like it's been ages.." Heyen was always flirtacious, being customer or employee.
But he did respect her privacy and space so he pulled away not too long after. "And yes, my dear, you are. And how is Misora? Is she doing all fine and well?"

Mitsuki laughed, Heyen was his usual self. Overly flirtatious with every female around him. "Its only been a day Heyen. And yes shes doing fine. I just dropped her off at school, and she'll be here afterwards. Is it ok if I take a 15 minutes break after she gets here? I just need to start her off on her homework." She asked smiling at him. He usually allowed her, but she always asked.

"Why, of course!" Heyen replied, turning to see a couple of patrons calling out to him. Drunks usually always got hungry, and now that Mitsuki was here they wanted their service. "But, as for now how about you go and see what our customers want? They look pretty hungry. Just take their orders, as per usual, and place them on the counter. I'll do the rest then."

Mitsuki noded, "Ok, and thanks Heyen." She said and headed over to the table. There were two old guys, laughing and joking around with eachother, and by the looks of it had already had a few drinks. She smiled at them. "Ok, so what will it be today boys?" She asked cheerfully. The first one looked up at Mitsuki with a smile, showing he was missing a few teeth. "I'll have the roast beef, and another mug of ale." he said. Mitsuki nodded smiling while writing it down, then turned to the other, "And for you?" she asked. The other old man scratched his head above his right ear. "Uh, I don't really know. Whats better, the roast beef sandwhich or the ham and swiss?" he asked looking up at her. "The roast beef." Mitsuki said, "So I'll put you down for that, should I add another mug of ale?" She asked. "Uh, no I-" He started, but then his fiend interupted him, "Don't listen to him. He doesn't know how to relax, go ahead and put him down for two, my treat." He said, the other man sighed, "Yur right, your right. Its a day off I should be relaxing." he said nodding, the other man smiled, "Now thats the spirit!" Mitsuki smiled nodding and wrote it down. "Well I'll have your food and drinks ready soon." She said, then walked back to the counter and gave Heyen the order. "An order of roast beef, a roast beef sandwhich, and 3 mugs of ale." she said smiling.
