I watched some of the transgender episode of Family Guy recently and decided against watching Family Guy. I like Rick and Steve a bit but that's stop animation. (I think?)

the newest episode from this week?

It was recent. It was older than a week...something about Quagmire's father being trans.

yeah, that was the one i meant. when i saw it i thought it probably would be offensive to transgenders. they never seem to handle the nonstraight things too well xp

i always assumed the point of those shows is to watch people offend others.

idk, i think that they like to pretend that they want to offend everyone while really they want the mainn viewer types to like the show

Plus...they don't actually offend everybody. Just oppressed groups.

But I think you can't do a "movie" or a "Cartoon animation" to make fun of *not-opressed-groups* or *standard-cannonized people*... its not "funny" for the masses, even if the watchers are repleted by people who are in fact part of the "offended groups".
