Iosef cast his gaze to Glacier, a soft smile playing across his maw. "I have a job for you," he said, and his tone was gentle; Iosef liked children, and he was growing especially fond of this one. Having another set of paws around would come in handy, truly. "If you're up to it."
He nodded toward a corner of the den where a packrat had made a nest of leaves and twigs and become entirely too comfortable. "I'd like you to clear those leaves out, up to the entrance...and keep an eye out for the rat, will you?" He glanced over his shoulder, and then, in a whisper, "If you catch it on your own, I'll let you eat it after we're done with the dens."

Hippolyta watched Glacier be sent back to his work by a cool Penthesilea, inclining her head in acknowledgment of his apology. She didn't want to speak directly to the pup, lest her voice startle him into doing his work poorly. He seemed fine, however, and the moment he was back in the cave Iosef took over his instruction. Hippolyta had few worries that the cave would be cleared out in no time, and rather effectively as well.
She glanced over at Pen as the Queen spoke, and again nodded, casting her a quick smile. "I will keep an eye on them as I work. Thankfully, I don't see many problems like that arising."
She turned to face the rest of the pack, giving the other females a good looking-over. "All right. As the Queen said, all dens but those claimed by her and the homes of the old members are free. For now, find a den you feel you would be comfortable in and focus on getting that clean. It's been a long journey."
She took a last look in the currently-being-cleaned den, but Iosef and Glacier were hard at work. Pen would direct them when they were finished. With that settled, she headed to one of the nearer dens to see if any of the other Warriors would need help cleaning theirs out. She could lend a paw to that before she went and faced her own den. It might even help her secure bonds with the new members.

Somewhat relieved that the fierce looking Pol didn't seem to be upset for him after he blundered into her yet again Glacier had slunk back to the cave only to be met by the kind hearted Iosef. Glacier rather liked the splotchy wolf more then some of the other slaves in the pack and was eager to do a good job in this task - after the disaster he'd made with the snake.
At least he wasn't afraid of rats! And while they weren't his favorite meal, having one all to himself was certainly motivation "I can do it!" He assured the wolf "I'm not afraid of rats..." Just snakes was the unspoken end to that statement and his mood greatly improved by the prospect he trotted towards the corner.

Iosef smiled, pleased with the pup's enthusiasm, and quietly ducked his head to return to his work, relishing the feeling of labor and usefulness. Within a few moments, his side of the den was cleared, and he moved to look over Glacier's shoulder, to make sure things were going smoothly. "I will be moving on to the next den," he said, in his kindest voice. "Would you like me to stay until you're finished, in case you need anything?"
