"Well, I have an Eevee, but she's back at the room watching her egg. I've also got a Cyndaquil and a Totidile." She laughed a bit. "Neither of which are happy members of the team, although the Cyndaquil is getting better. How about you? What are your others?"
Gizmo ran over and checked Skye over, then nodded. ["Yeah, it took me a few days to finally get it down. Here, try this!"] Rolling the ball over to himself, he flipped it up on his tail and bounced it a few times before letting it drop. ["It's good practice for getting used to the ball."]

"I have an Ivysaur and Totidle as well." She patted the pokeballs at her side. "My Ivysaur is the calmest in the bunch. And that's a great load off of me because Skye is a handful already." She laughed at Skye's face plant into the sand.
Skye stood up and picked up the ball. ["Ok, I'll try again."] He flipped it up on his tail as Gizmo had done. He bounced it a few times getting a good rhythm.

Gizmo grinned widely as he watched Skye. ["Heeey! Looking good! Now try-"] He was cut off as he suddenly began to glow a solid white color. After a few seconds, Gizmo looked down at Skye and tilted his head. ["You're shorter....."]
The bright light grabbed Kofuku's attention and her jaw dropped as she watched Gizmo evolve into a Pikachu right before her eyes. "No waaaaay...." She muttered in complete shock.

Skye stopped bouncing the ball, letting it roll neglected off to the side. He stared up at the Pikachu with big, awed eyes. ["How did you do that?"] He looked him up and down with a huff of slight annoyance that his new friend had evolved right in front of his eyes. ["I... I want to evolve to!"] He closed his eyes and concentrated on becoming a Pikachu like Gizmo.
Cal turned her attention to the bright light that had came from Gizmo. "Wow~ Congrats! You're very lucky." She saw that her Pichu had his eyes closed and was concentrating. "My poor baby. I think he's jealous of Gizmo." She sighed at Skye's attempt to evolve.

Gizmo blinked and raised his paws up to feel his now long and slender ears. ["I have no idea how I did this...."] As Skye tried to make himself evolve, Gizmo watched curiously, wondering if it really was going to work that way. In reality, it just looked like the Pichu was going to explode.
Kofuku smiled to Cal. "Thanks, I guess this means that the real training can start." She watched Skye with a slightly amused look on her face, her eyebrows raised a little. "I hope he's ok.... It's almost starting to look painful now."

Skye began to shake with exhaustion he tried to force himself to evolve. He became even more jealous of Gizmo as the time passed. He gritted his teeth and focused on the anger that began to build up inside him.
"Skye, it's alright! You'll evolve when you're rea-" But before she could finish a bright glow of white light emitted from Skye. "Whoa..." Cal was left in shock that Skye had actually evolved so suddenly.
Skye looked around seeing the world from a different point of view. He looked at his paw and touched his face and ears. ["I-I evolved!"] He spun around, checking out his thunder bolt like tail. ["I really evolved!"]

Kofuku watched in shock, then gave Cal a sideways smirk. "Well, looks like he was ready." Giving the other girl a small nudged, she grinned. "You know, I've heard rumors about pokemon making themselves evolve for their trainers, but I haven't heard anything about them doing it out a jealousy."
Gizmo's face broke into a wide grin. ["You did it! This is so COOL!"] Excitedly, he jumped up, pouncing into Skye and his cheeks sparked in joy.

Cal laughed, "That was really sudden!" She felt proud that he had evolved, even if it was out of jealousy. "I think I'll have to do something about him being so jealous..." She smirked as she watched the two newly evolve Pikachus start to spark.
Skye fell to the ground laughing. ["This is cool! We're both Pikachus now!"] His cheeks also sparked, their combined electricity danced over the sand and through Skye's fur.

"I dunno, you might be able to play that to your favor... I mean, if you train with a pokemon while he's out and give said 'mon a BIG reward for good effort, maybe he'll start to train better too. Play to his traits, right?" Kofuku wasn't the greatest trainer, but she was getting the hang of it with the help of some of the other people here. "And, now you might be able to practice accuracy and attack power. I know I am, since Gizzy won't be getting hit with a recoil now."
Grinning, Gizmo lept off of Skye and ran around, feeling himself so full of excitement and energy. Skidding to a halt in the sand, he grinned and let loose a thundershock away from the group, grinning like an idiot when he didn't get his back with a recoil. ["I repeat-SO COOL!"] Oh he could not wait to show off to Switch what he could do now.

"True..." She thought for a moment, watching the two play. "I've tried this a couple of time before, and though the battles didn't turn out so well," she winced at the thought, "Skye tried his best to the end." She picked up the ball that Gizmo and Skye left behind. "Could you teach me some of your training methods?"
Skye scampered over to Gizmo with his lightning bolt tail held high. He shot out a thundershock in the same direction as Gizmo had shot his. ["You're very right!"] He grinned back at him with his cheeks still sparking.

Laughing a little, Kofuku rubbed the back of her head. "Really isn't much to teach. I figured out what Gizmo likes best, challenges, and warped them into games. You can keep the ball, if you'd like, I have a few others back at the room."
Looking over at the two Pikachu's, she grinned and shook her head. "Well, so much for training..." Turning back to Cal, she bit her pinkie in thought, then spoke. "I think, for the next step, I'm going to use some Frisbees or ping-pong balls and have him practice zapping them and attacking them."
Gizmo watched a wrapper that had probably escaped the HQ and chased after it. ["HAHA, it's Shiny! I wonder if I can zap it!"] Yeah, he was getting to be a little more than Zap-happy.

"Well then, I should observe. Anything to help really." She smirked, "And it's a good way to waste a lazy day with no missions." She bounced the ball off her foot, "Thanks for this, I'm sure Skye will love it."
Skye ran after Gizmo, catching up to him quickly. ["You better Zap it before I do!"] He jumped up to catch it, missed, and sent a thundershock it's way. The attack was close to his target, but he still missed. ["Come on! Before I beat you!"] He stuck his tongue out at Gizmo who was now just barely behind him.

"Ugh, seriously...." Dropping herself into the warm sand, she cracked open the cooler and pulled out a couple of water bottles, handing one over to Cal. "Here, keep hydrated..." She gave the girl a grin, then took a swig of her own bottle, watching the two pokemon running around. "Looks like they're doing their training though...."
Gizmo stuck his tongue right back and sprinted over the sands, choosing to pounce on Skye instead of chasing after the wrapper. ["Not if I get you! MWAHAHA, I win!"] Oh yea, it felt great to be crafty.

Cal gabbed the water bottle and sat next to Kofuku. "Maybe they can train themselves!" She took a drink from the bottle while she watched Skye and Gizmo roll around in the sand.
Skye landed with a soft thud, rolling with Gizmo in the sand. ["Haha, no fair!"] He rolled onto Gizmo and tried his best to pin him down.

"Haha, oh if only training was that easy..." Giving a heavy sigh, Kofuku watched with a frown. "Dammit, it's going to take me hours to get all that sand out of his fur. Suggestions for easy removal at all?"
["Fair?! All's fair in love and war!"] Laughing, Gizmo squirmed out from under Skye's paws and bound away, twitching his tail a bit in an almost taunting way. ["Can't catch me!"] He chirped out, then dashed off.
