Out of the corner of her eye Claire caught Adonia sitting down, about to greet her only to have Adonia beat her to it. "Of course~" Claire smiled brightly only to play along with her half sister by adding in, "At least I think I am..." She poked her own cheek the pinched her arm lightly, "Up, not dead." Catching the cookie in Adonia's hand the girl then started to try and find one, or a few for that matter, for herself. Spotting the plate, Claire picked up six or so, and started to nibble on one.
Peering up from her cookie, Claire listened in on Adonia as she continued on. "Well... I'm not sure if I should be back, or not... Skylar thinks I should stay in the infirmary until we are sure all the poison is gone..." She trailed off, becoming curious about the hot-headed comment. She thought for a moment, weighing whether or not to question Adonia on her words. In the end she didn't, it wasn't something she should press to get information on anyway.

 Adonia turned to face her sister, with a serious look on her face. She took a sip from her goblet, letting the tension grow before finally saying, "Claire, you shouldn't be up and about unless you feel okay. But as long as you take some nectar or ambrosia, you should be fine," she said, her tone softening on her last sentence. She twisted in her seat, looking around for a moment, her eyes at half-mast as she bit into her cookie, looking a little bored.
"Not much to do when everyone's so mad at each other. Gabriel and Lyra tried going out, but Kevin kissed Lyra, and well, I sort of... started going out with Gabriel, and I don't think Lyra wants to speak to me! And of course, Kevin hates me. But that's old news." she said glumly, resting her elbows on the cold marble table, looking upset. She thought about how Kevin had practically spewed out his words about how Adonia didn't care, and she felt particularly hurt when she realized Lyra didn't want to talk to her.

"I feel fine," Claire insisted, everything felt fine at least. She had all her reflexes back, she wasn't dizzy, and she could see as clear as usual. Finishing off her cookie, Claire picked up another one, which wasn't exactly healthy. She hadn't gotten fat from her eating habits yet though, so she just continued on with her love of sweets. Claire's expression soured slightly as Adnoia spoke up again, worry taking the reins of her emotions.
She listened in as Adonia spoke. Things really had taken a turn down hill... The blond's mind was racing, trying to think of a way to cheer up Adonia, but how would she know how when nothing close to this had ever happened to her? This only proved to worsen the girls mood, but being skilled in the art of hiding emotions only the original worry showed on her face. Claire looked down to her cookie, in thought. Of course, the fact she didn't even know how close the group had been during her disappearance didn't help improve her mood either. It only made it harder for Claire to think of a way to cheer her sister up.
"I guess, there isn't really much I can do to help..." Claire murmured softly, after her long pause.

Adonia smiled tiredly, taking another cookie and munching on it, gazing out at the hazy blue sky. "It's okay Claire. We'll come to an agreement eventually." she sighed, lying slightly. She looked down at her feet before sipping her Root Beer, just enjoying the peaceful time she was spending with Claire.
"So I guess you and Skylar are friends now, huh?" she asked, her eyes full of interest and her voice eager for a change of subject.

Claire nodded, trying to press her worries to the back of her mind. Drinking some of her soda, Claire returned to her pasta for a moment. The blond was quick to look back up though, as Adonia spoke up again, this time about her and Skylar. Tilting her head slightly, the blond paused to think. Were they? Of course, Claire would say they were, but Claire was also one to say she was friends with almost anyone who she knew their name and them hers.
Her mind wandered a bit, he did seem like a friend. So she smiled softly and nodded, "Yeah," She chimed brightly, though curiously tilted her head soon afterward, "Why so curious?" She asked though figured part of the reason was for a change of subject. She, the blond wasn't always as dense as a rock... Maybe.

Adonia shrugged. She took a bite of her pasta, chewing slowly. "I dunno. He seems to care about you a great deal." She said softly, her chin resting on the table as she slumped. She smiled slightly, enjoying Claire's expression as she said her opinion.
She closed her eyes, a little tired, before opening them again and watching Claire apprehensively. There wasn't much else to say.

Tilting her farther to the side, Claire thought. He did always seem to fret whenever she did something stupid. Which was often. Her brows furrowed in thought, cookie sticking out of her mouth which she started to eat soon after. "He does... Doesn't he?" She muttered with a shrug, returning to her cookie. "Then again, alot of people seem to fret over my idiocy." She mumbled recalling the times people had been worrying about her. "Often when I climb trees..." Trailing off Claire laughed softly. She figured why people worried about her doing such, she always fell to the ground.
