My opinion is this: Orbs are not a sign of a haunting. I only trust my feelings. I can sometimes sense ghosts, and thats how i know they are there. the other day i saw my first full body apparition. Now just because i see and feel, does not mean they are there. I always look for the logical explanation first. Anyways, the other week there was a ghost in my house, and I firmly told it "Hey, I dont care if you come in my house, just stay out of my room and the pet room." And that was that. it stayed in the hall and the living room, and I went on with my evening. So just come to terms.
Also, a friend of mine doesn't beleives ghosts are the souls of the dead. she says they are demons (that doesnt mean they are bad) that just like to linger. My additon to this hypothesis is this: The mind is powerfull enough to send and recieve messages, so the mind of a demon/animal could be strong enough to see into your heart and take the form of what you miss or want the most. That's just another idea to think about.

LightOfTheBlade Looks like specks of dust to me. I cannot really tell, but most orbs i have encountered have somekind of aura around them and are diffrent colors. But hey, its just my opinion. Dust, exactaly what I was going to say, but my mothers old husband had a picture of real orbs. They were all orange and they looked bigger.

As for geting rid of them.....I don't think you can. You can try warding her room, or try to talk to them. In my house there are two little girle ghosts, about the age of 5 or 7. My sister used to sleep in the room one of them lives in. I had to explane that she couldn't hurt her, that she just wanted to be noticed. After that my sister got used to her.

Ran-duh Dust, exactaly what I was going to say, but my mothers old husband had a picture of real orbs. They were all orange and they looked bigger. Ah, but an orb is not the sign of a ghost, just a sign of gthered energy. ^.^

I think they are both ^-^ energy and a sign of a ghost. Ghosts give off enery so where they are there could be orbs, but and orb is not nessaraly mean there is a ghost.

Heheh, sorry, that is what i ment, i just wasnt clear. but i never except orbs as a haunting, cause i'm a skeptic and try to disprove hauntings

here is some picts I got of orbs.  1) This was taken in the living room. I kinda looks like the orb is moving. Right around the corner is the room that one of our ghosts call home. She is about 6 years old and likes to startle people. ^-^ 2) The second one was taken in my sisters room. To our knolage no ghosts live in there, but the ghost in the back yard sometimes comes in there. I have never seen her but my step-sister said she looks to be about 7-8 years old. what do you think? ^-^
