"Ya what is it Yuiko?" he said, looking at her smiling. "He then watched her gaze and looked at the little bird "Oh look its a birdy!" he said, returning his gaze to her and forgetting what he was going to say "Um...what was it you needed?" he whispered.

She smiled as he took notice of the bird and smiled. When he looked abck at her she mouthed 'Thank you, leo!' With a smile. "Is there any reason as to why your turned around in your seat, kubozuka?" She heard a voice say behind her. She turned quickly to see the teacher frowning at her. She smiled. "Um, well. . . " "I don't care, just don't let me catch you doing it again and make me give you detention on your last day of school. . . I have plans you know. . . " Yuiko nodded, unable to think of anything.

"Im sorry Sir, it was really my fault, I asked Yuiko a question" he said with a smile. lying wasn't his cup of tea but he had to do it sometimes.

Sensei looked at leo suspiciously, and seemed to drop it.Yuiko was suprised leo would lie like that for her. But leo was leo, and sometimes he could be consitered unpredictable. Class went on as normal, and soon it was time foir lunch. Yuiko put her things in her bag with a smile, wondeirng if there would be manderin chicken for lunch. It was one of her favorite foods to eat.

When the lunch bell rang, Leo rang over to Yuiko and smiled "I made some food for the both of us, i saw they didn't have that chicken you liked so i made some, is it ok if we go eat on the roof together?" he asked, taking out a clear box and handing it to her. It was wrapped in a single red bow and on it was a tag, it read 'Hope you like it, leo.'

Yuiko blinked, completely taken off guard. "You didn't have to do this for me, leo. . . " She said, completely dumbfounded. She smiled at the note and offered her hand. "Lets go eat lunch on the froof, leo. . . and thank you, again." She glanced at the box. It was decreative and it looked delicious. Her mouth watered a little.

"Yuiko doesn't have to thank me, I thank Yuiko" he said, leading the way up to the roof of the school. The breeze felt nice. Leo walked over to one of the railings and several bird landed on him, he then walked over to Yuiko and put a bird on both of her shoulders.

Yuiko smilled and followed him up to the roof. She got a stab of jealousy when the birds came to see him, but it subsided when he placed two on her sholders. She smiled and her eyes sparkled happily. She sat down cafefully, so the birds wouldn't fly away, and opened her lunchbox. "ITA-DAKI-MASU!" She cheered happily, opening it and taking hold of her chopsticks. "It looks so good. Good job." She smiled, taking a bite. She smiled. "Yummy. . . " She said, taking a few more bites before taking a swig of water she got from the lunch line.

"Thanks Im glad Yuiko likes it.... I dont know what i would do without Yuiko..." he said with a smile, sitting down beside her and eating his food fast, He finished quickly and put his box beside him .

But Yuiko is more important than my own life." he said, resting his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. "You smell nice..."

Yuiko did remember, in vivid detail, how he did so. It really did make her realize how much leo cared for her. She blushed slightly as leo rested his head on her shoulder. She smiled somewhat at his child-like demeanor. "I'm not wearing any perfume today leo, what do I smell like to you?" She asked, curious.

"You smell nice because all kind people have a nice smell to them, even when they aren't trying..." he said. He then heard a twig snap and stood up. It was a man with a knife. "Yuiko, run away, Leo cant afford to lose Yuiko..." Leo took a step and the ran towards the man and punched his as hard as he could in the face, pressing blood all over his fingers.

Yuiko jumped when Leo suddenly stood up. She stared wide eyed at the man with the knife. Her stomach leaped with fear when leo ran towards the man. The next thing she saw red. Oozing over Leo's fingers. No. NO! "RUN!" She shouted to the other man, for she knew if he didn't, if she didn't stop leo, leo would do something he would deeply regret.
