Ha, Dratini turns into Dragonair at level 30. And my friend isn't replying to my texts.. I've been trying to ask him if he wants me to keep leveling it for him.
What? o.o;;

Oh just didn't know if it was one of us or not. xD
I'm at the point where I have to catch Lugia and beat the Elite 4. As soon as I get to fuschia....I'll be one happy trainer. Dx No more Feraligatr carrying my team.

Right now my strongest pokemon is my Luxray. lmao At the rate I'm floatin, I might change my flying selection from Xatu to Ho-oh.
My current team is/was Murkrow, Luxray, Typhlosion, Lucario, Gyarados, and Abomasnow but Abomasnow ******** sucks because he keeps getting his a** kicked and same with Murkrow. So I switched Murkrow with Ho-oh cuz I needed a pokmeon that was flying and I needed one who knew a psychic movie and wouldn't die so easilly.
My new team that I just bred involves a Dratini, Riolu ( which I'm starting to reconsider ), Shinx, Leafeon, Growlithe, and Xatu. If I can get a hold of a Larvitar, I'll be good without Riolu but I would need someone to know a fighting move. I am against having one pokemon hunkered down with HM moves while your official 6 that you battle with don't really have any. Do you know the kind of hassle it'd be if you did that? You would be in the middle of a dungeon and like you'd need strength to get to that really rare item and it was hard enough to get to where you were, why the hell would you come back? Not everyone has guide books either. :/ That's my argument with one of my friends. Ha ha

Lol....when it comes to doing things in the game I usually destroy everything with my main poke. (Blastoise in Blu/LG....Feraligatr in this one) Thing is I've had a movesset that works across most types so I can pretty much handle myself even against the elite 4. I singlehandedly beat the game with Blastoise (and HM slaves) in LG.
Reason being I'm just trying to make my way to fuschia where my real team is.
Starmie/Aerodactyl/Dragonite/Heracross/Snorlax/Blissey
I know what you mean by choosing pokes you think are good...and then they just end up getting destroyed. My Nidoking is like that...he's got an AWESOME moveset and he can take out most things...but his typing just blows. :/
And I'm a supporter of HM slaves. Because I don't like raising pokes just so I can use Rock Smash in a fight. ._.; I just need to find a nice balance where I can have two pokes with all the HMs so I don't have to have separate ones. So far krabby is my big one. cut/strength/surf/rock smash. The gyarados has whirlpool (just cuz...once I find a sufficient HM slave pair I'll change accordingly) and my Feraligatr has Waterfall...with a pidgey for fly. So so far yeah....2 HM users and 2 that I actually use.
The thing that got ME was in Mt Mortar. Got all the way to the Karate King...beat him...he was gonna give me a pokemon...awesome!...aw crap my party is full....

The only HMs I allow on my main pokemon are: Fly, Rock Smash, Cut, Surf, Strength, Waterfall, and Rock Climb. The utter useless one is Whirlpool and I'm not a fan of Flash or Dig. Dig's great and all, but NONE of my pokemon have 2-turn moves like dig or solar beam. Bide? Bide is an invitation to kill that pokemon quicker. IF you're lucky, all the damage your opponent desperately unloaded on you to KO your pokemon -- but failed -- is shot right back at them. x]
My team isn't bad, but I can't find a flying type I like because I need a pokemon that can fly and use psychic.. (Everyone: Lugia) Nope, I want a regular pokemon. The legendaries are a little overrated. I've had lugia in my part when I played Crystal, he was my flying pokemon but I'm probably going to have to completely redo my team. The only one that is set in stone is my Dragonair -- which I might end up evolving into Dragonite. I renamed her to 'Nessy'. x] I know, cliched, but she's totally my Loch Ness Monster. <3 I really don't want her to evolve because I love Dragonair more than Dragonite. Dragonite looks like all kinds of creepy.

I'm hoping I can get Dragonite to have fly/surf/whirlpool or waterfall/strength....then my Kingler will have the leftover stuff like rock climb/rock smash/cut/whichever water one draggy can't learn.
I've always been torn which of that series I liked. D: Dragonair does have its own epicness....but Dragonite...it's THE dragon...the first real one. D:

Yeah, I agree with you on that. If I started making a dragon team, it'd definitely would be in it. I seriously think it was inspired by Puff the Magic Dragon. A lot of the dragon pokemon are freakin huge, yo. I'm a little hesitant to have them following me. x]
Man! D:< I'm mad that Flare Blitz isn't as amazing as I thought. Well it is, but it has a nasty recoil so NOW after all my waiting it was for naught. I could've already evolved my Growlithe.

Makes sense...being the huge bodied/tiny winged thing that it is. I haven't put Dragonite out front yet. O:
Lawl...I brought in a TON of pokemon from my Leaf Green (almost all of them lawl)...so I'm just leveling/catching what I can. I wanna get as many pokes as I can to start sifting through who to start breeding for a team.

Well if you need any specific Pokemon, let me know. I'm about to switch my faves over and start over again. x]

How far are you? I don't think you posted your friend code, btw, unless I've gone blind again. I seriously am all over the place mentally. sweatdrop

Oh I'm at the point where you have to go up Mt Silver...but I'm just killing time now getting a bunch of pokes. I like taking care of the tedious stuff before I go and do crazy s**t like that.
Plus I still haven't gone back and checked ALL those stupid rock climb locations so I have to do that after too.
And I had my friend code on the first page. o;

xDD;
I am blind, indeed. Oi, for rock climb. Do you get it at the end of Kanto or did I seriously miss it at the end of Johto? The guide says that you get the HM near the end of the game and I'm going to be all kinds of not-happy because I've been stalking through a LOT of areas I skipped thinking I missed someone who gives it away in Johto.

Professor Oak gives it to you after you beat all the Kanto gyms I think. At least that's how it worked out for me.
I got all excited because I thought he was gonna give me squirtle/bulbasaur/charmander. D<
