"I..." He started to defend her, automatically, then remembered their recent arguments. It was a distinct conflict on the subject that played across his face for several moments. "...We did have fun. We thought it was hysterical to mess with people since they couldn't tell us apart, we thought they deserved it. I dunno. I never saw it as 'controlling'. She's my sister... and my twin." He didn't figure she'd understand but this clearly was intended to be somehow significant. "I can't tell if she's changed or if I have."

"Probably you both have," said Tallulah, sliding the pictures back into the envelope they'd come in. She gave him a peck on the cheek. "Can't say I don't like who you've turned into, of course," she added, and resealed it.
She waggled it at Jaimie. "Do you want to keep these, or should I?" she asked, grinning. As soon as he reached for them, she backed out of his reach, around the edge of the table. "Who knows? Maybe I'll need blackmail someday--"
She fanned the folder at him, giggling. "Are you gonna fight me for them?"

He gave her a small smile, perhaps relieved at her answer. "Heh, yeah I guess so. I mean my night life especially." He laughed slightly, making a not particularly serious grab at the pictures, then shrugged. "Keep 'em. You can show people down the road that you dated a guy who looked better in a dress than his sister." He joked.

She'd sort of been hoping that he'd pursue her more seriously for the pictures, but oh well, Tallulah laughed and set the pictures down of the table. "As long as you wear a tux to prom we should be fine," she smilled, rejoining him on the window seat.
"Oh!" she exclaimed, perking up suddenly. "I talked to Dani. We're definitely on for double-dating with her and parker! That'll be fun, right? Dani and I are going to go dress shopping in a few weeks - you don't want to come for that, do you?"
She grinned mischievously at him, then relented. "It would bore you to tears."
She knew it would. It was going to bore her to tears.

He laughed again, grinning more broadly. "Tell you what, you go out, and call me if you get crazy bored. I'll see if I can cut loose and give you a hand." He gestured at the photos, apeing a rediculous accent as he did so. "After all Dahling. I'm a proFESional."
He dropped his hands back to his lap, still amused. "I always kinda figured I'd use it if I got into theater writing."

"You can do my makeup," Tallulah assured him pleasantly. "You would appear to know far more about it than I do." Believing this was not impossible by any stretch of the imagination: had he ever seen Tallulah wear makeup?
"That implies you'll show it to me someday," she continued. Fan fic didn't seem so scandalous to her - everyone had their vices, even if it was a bit nerdy. Who was she to judge? She spent her Saturday nights researching the GNPs of different countries on occasion.
"I can wait," she shrugged, and kissed him.
The conversation seemed to have lulled. She glanced around the room, and then out into the driveway.
"So," she said, "My mom's not going to be back from the store for a while."
