Yorix stood up, seeing Kere was done with the heartless she had released. "My stamina is fine, you just caught me off guard." Yorix then re summoned air magic and smiled at Kere. "I guess, now I better take things more seriously." She swung the sword against the ground, causing a huge gust of wind to be blow at Kere. Yorix then moved quickly under Kere and jumped up behind him, where she tried stabbing him in the back, with her sword.

Kere wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice. As soon as the gust came at him, he brought in his wings to make himself aerodynamic. As soon as the gust passed him, he flapped himself down so that he dodged the attack he knew would come from behind. No soon had he dodged, he opened his mouth wide and let out a horribly loud caw. Within his beak a large green orb thus formed. Kere couldn't wait to build the blast and fired the shot premature of it's normal strength. It traveled only half way between the two before collapsing on itself and exploding there. Kere opened his wings wide, and even though the shock wave hurt his body, the gust made pushed at his wings and pushed him away from his foe. "That... wasn't supposed to happen."
(Sorry. It's part of Ker's personality. He's my comic relief)

Yorix saw her chance for a good strike. She was able to get out of the way of the shock wave, for when she summons air, she is quicker then the average human. She then swung at the ground another time, causing another gust of wind. Yorix jumped into the gust, and let it push her towards her target. She then trusted out her sword, aiming at the raven's stomach.
(I don't like this post, I think I did a crappy job at it. stressed Also I was just messing with you. You are still a perv, but I am not mad at you.)

(It's fine)
Kere was still trying to recover from being hit away from his own technique when Yorix was upon him. He had enough time to atilt his body away. Yorix's blade cut into his right wing, cutting all the way to the other side. Kere flinched at the pain and gave a low gurgling squawk of pain. This, however, was what Kere had been waiting for this entire fight. Granted he had been hoping that it would have not come out of desperation, but you can't predict everything.
The raven pumped demi-energy into his wings in such a manner that it would give him only a few moments to get away from the next blast. In one quick motion, he twisted his body so that the sword in his wing cut it off from the rest of his body. Kere then used his twist to to twist him into a downward dive. Just as he did, the entire wing exploded in a brilliant display of green. Kere was again was thrown, this time to the ground. His body crashed against the ground, breaking he his right leg, his left wing and his neck as he skipped across the ground. When he came to a stop, he was leaning on his side, his body a broken mess.
Those injuries would heal quickly enough. His broken neck was already half way from being like new. And he just needed to move his leg to fix that. It was that right wing that he was worried about. His mobility had just been cut. Sure he could fight this way, but how well would he be able to now that she knew what he was capable. He could start using the feather darts, but that would slow down the healing process. I gotta stop screwin around.

Yorix was flung back, from Kere removing her sword from his wing. She did a back flip in midair and landed on her feet. She then saw Kere on the ground, looking pretty beat up, and walked over to him. Yorix then put her sword against his neck. "Do you give up, or do you wish to continue?"

"Sweety," he said, looking up at Yorix with a wry smirk, "I'll make a deal with ya. If manage to get me with a blow that would be lethal to a real bird," Kere literally tossed himself backwards and used his claw to kick away that sword. "I'll give you the win." As he righted again, he flapped his wings. Yes, both wings were now there again. In fact, the slash he had suffered from earlier had not hindered him at all besides when it initially showed up. "See, babe, I can't be killed. You can burn me, freeze me, cut me into sushi, but I just keep squawkin." Kere landed and stood a few feet away from Yorix, prepared to dodge just in case she had the guile to attack him while he made his offer. "Which makes this fight just a tad bit unfair. But, I'm a fair bird.... to women." He gave Yorix a wink. "Here's the catch. You fight me going at my full." Holding up his newly healed right wing, he bent it forward, showing he could manipulate his wing like a human arm. He removed three feathers from his other wing and straightened them, holding them between feathered digits. His blood red eyes became deadly serious, and the smirk he had been wearing this entire match finally faded. "So I'll answer you with your own question. Do you give up, or do you wish to continue?"

Yorix jumped back, when Kere knocked her sword away. "I knew this fight wasn't over," she said in her mind. Kere was really starting to enrage Yorix, she couldn't stand his personality. "You are a very annoying crow!" She summoned fire again, onto her sword. Yorix was surprised on Kere's change in personality and the fact he healed so quickly. "Damn what the hell is he, I better be more careful now." "Do you really think I will give up that easy, I still have most of my strength left." But on truth, Yorix had used up more then a third of her strength already.

"Good," Kere stated, all hints of sarcasm gone from his voice. Flinging his black wing forward, he threw one of the feather darts at Yorix, setting the limit on this one to explode a safe distance behind her: close enough to feel the shock wave (which would be harmless) but far enough not to hurt her in anyway. He was playing battle mind games now, not just games. He hoped to make her weary of the feathers for only he would know what feather's were rigged to explode and which ones weren't.
As he brought both wings back to flap himself forward, he tossed the other two feather into the ground beside him. They were rigged to explode a minute from when he released them. Angeling his body upward, Kere flapped his wings so hard, not only did he make a gale like gust behind himself, he created a sonic boom as he rocketed into the air. Then he flapped his wings again and again as he broke past the sound barrier and he shot himself straight up.
The entire motion of this set up was like clockwork. Each second corresponding to a single action until liftoff. Second one: the throw, second two: the swinging back of the arms and the tossing of the feather's, second three: the initial launch, and second four: the after burners.
Were Yorix to try and follow him, she would have had a hard time persueinging, even with her powers, he was a natural flier, and he was planning on using the seconds between when he could get into the air and when she did, if she even tried to follow, to his advantage.
Kere continued to ascended until the sky began to turn a dark blue, and the arena itself a small speck on the green field in his highly trained eye. The raven performed a barrel roll(a real barrel roll) and as he came back down towards the earth, straightened hundreds of feather's on his body and flapped downwards, releasing hundreds of dart like feather's down upon the earth. THis was a technique that Revan had taught him, and one they both hated using. Revan hated it because it was so tiring. Kere didn't have the issue. Ker'es problem was that Revan could time this attack to go off at roughly the same time. By the time these feathers made it half way to the ground, a third of them would have exploded, most likely destroying other feather's in the process before they could explode.
The premature ones would be giving away the surprise of what he was trying to do. He'd be lucky if even ten reached the ground. That was why he left the two on the ground; they were meant as distraction to make her take her eyes of the real threat, even for just a second, and force her have to readjust to stay focused. If he could force Yorix to remain on the ground, he could come in from behind the first wave and fire out a much smaller, but much more accurate second wave of randomly exploding feathers.
"And I'm a raven," Kere mumbled as he slowly let himself drift back down to the ground. If he followed to close, he might end up getting his own feather to the face.
(If you followed, this move is going to be kinda hard for you dodge. If you stay on the ground, not so much. In fact, it's mostly up to you cause Kere has no idea the order theyu explode and when a feather it destroyed prematurely, it doesn't explode)

(Sorry everyone else in the tournament, who have already finished, that we are taking so long. Maxwell we need to finish this match.)
Yorix jumped forward away from the blast, not knowing if it was very harmful. She was impressed, on how he was able to shoot himself into the air. She then waited for Kere to plummet to the ground, for his next attack. Yorix wasn't stupid, she knew better then to just keep her attention on the two feather on the ground. As Kere dropped downwards to the ground releasing his darts, Yorix threw fire at the darts on the ground, turning them into ash. She then dodged the few darts that hit the ground. One that came at her, she was unable to move out of the way, all the way, fast enough. She was close enough to it to be thrown, to save herself she used her sword to stab into the ground. When the shock wave passed, she took her sword out of the ground and started to throw fire at Kere, with one long swing at a time.
(Each blaze of fire, sent at Kere, is going fast and they are 2.5 yards in length.)

(Agreed).
Kere was impressed. Not only had Yorix not fallen for his trap, she had in fact, managed to get past most of the ones that weren't destroyed, she saved herself by cutting the ones that were close to her. Now he had to deal with the fire. He flapped his wings into another dive, this one much slower and more controlled that the rest. Yorix was one of the best fighter's he had come across, and he felt slightly annoyed with himself that he hadn't given her the fair chance to fight him at his most serious when the match had started. He shook those thoughts from his head. I haven't won yet, he reminded himself as he skillfully worked his way around several of the on coming flames. Then Kere got an idea. It was completely reckless and stupid, but it might just work none the less. Kere open his beak and slowly drew in large amounts of demi-energy, all the while slowly making his way towards Yorix.
When the ball was the proper size, he flew directly into one of the blazes, and his body was engulfed in the flames. Kere's body became a roaring inferno as he began to plummit straight to the ground. He gave a loud, painful cawing sound as his body touched down. Then suddenly the fire seemed to burst from his body as he stop and fired not a ball, but a concentrated, green, laser-like beam in Yorix's direction.
Kere had curled into a ball when he slammed into the fire, igniting his back. However, he had used his wings to shield his head, from the blast. Yorix had not moved from her spot, so he knew where to point and fire when he landed. All he needed to do was make it look like the fire had taken him out so he could set himself up for his ultimate finale, the Kere Royale. Now the fire was intense, and he was absolutely sure that if the girl got up or away from that trick, this fight was practically hers unless he could stop drop and roll fast enough to save his skin.

Yorix saw Kere starting to create some kind of beam of some kind, so she got ready to move out of range. But she didn't expect Kere to deliberately go into a blaze. She watched him, as he plummeted to the ground. Yorix then, with a large swing of her sword, sent a blaze of fire at the spot where she thought he would land. After he had landed and sent the beam, it went though the fire causing the blaze to fade, and it headed right for Yorix. She knew she didn't have enough time to dodge it, so she put her sword up to block with a solid stance. Once the beam impacted her sword, Yorix screeched and was sent flying backwards 10yards, landing on her back. Once Yorix got up she tried to stand, but she fell forwards having to use her sword for balance. She coughed up blood and began to speak. "Damn I know I can't fight anymore, but have a lost?" She then looked over at Kere to see what he was doing about the fire.

Kere stood where he had been standing, the fire on his back starting to roast at his skin. He stood smirking, however. You were so close to winning," He said, purposely falling on his back to put out the flames. He gave a pained caw as the wound came in contact with the ground, so he quickly rolled onto his unscathed belly as soon as the fires were out. "In all honestly, I was going to give concede the fight if you had the ability to stand up and keep going after that attack. And you almost did." Kere slowly began hobbling over to Yorix. "However, I just managed to best you there." He then restated himself, this time putting an extreme emphasis on the word, "I JUST managed to best you."
Kere finally waddled his way to a few feet before Yorix and stopped out of blades reach of her. He was breathing hard and he looked like he was just about really to fall over. Could Yorix see his back, she would see that he was dealing with third degree burns. Still, his face kept its normal defiant visage. "I can still blow you up from here," he began to say, as if threatening her. "Please state you concede. We can end this match, and I can heal those wounds of yours." He gave the girl a wink, and a kind smile followed afterward.
Yorix was indeed an extremely talented fighter. Kere had to put himself at risk of loosing to obtain the opportunity to hit her with an all or nothing attack. She deserved praise for her efforts, but only after he had actually won this fight.
(I hope I never have to fight Yorix with Kere ever again!)

Yorix looked up at Kere. "I know when I can't fight anymore, so I will give the win to you." She then laid back on the ground and held her sword to the sky. "This world is so strange to me, I wonder why I was taken here?"

(Okay, last post, seriously)
The bird glanced at Yorix with an intrigued look in his eyes and answered with one of his very rare, but quite profound responded: "Who knows why life takes us anywhere? If we did know, then journey would be a wasted trip and an adventure with no mystery, no surprise, and no tie to our own development." Kere held up his hands and began a long incantation in a language dead on earth for many many centuries. At the end of his low mumbling, he lowered his wing and then flung it out again, a green mist wafting from it and spreading to all Yorix's body. At first the affect was slow, but gradually the healing curse took it's course and slowly righted the the damage done by the bird. As he had promised, he had healed her. now, the moment seemed way to tender for him to not try something fancy. He waddled over to Yorix and threw up his wings to cup a feel to satisfy the perverted side in him, but before he could touch his target, he was teleported away by some unknown force. SONAVABITCH!
(Again, I'm sorry. But it's Kere. sweatdrop )
