eek omg. I just ranted. Sorry. Anyhow I just wanna ask why'd lady gaga so famous. Not that I'm saying she's not good. Is she really that good as a singer or are her songs more..(let's say) unique? Just interested in other people's idea. confused

I always thought she was more famous for her outfits than her singing. There's only about... 3 songs from her that I like. The rest kinda... suck, in my opinion.
The three good songs I'm talking about:
"Bad Romance" *I called it Fame Monster by accident sweatdrop * "Pokerface" "Your Negativity"

Black_Angel_Flowne I always thought she was more famous for her outfits than her singing. lol I thought that too. I wouldn't say her songs are good, lyric wise either. So it couldn't really be only her music.
...somehow...spice girls just came to mind....anyone remember them. XD

lol, yes i remember the spice girls! Posh, Baby, Scary, Ginger, and... omg, who was the other one?
I was banned as a kid from listening to them for a while after seeing the Spice Girls movie. *At least, I think it was them, they were doing a performance, and there was a bunch of male dancers in the back that were wearing something that showed their bums... was that the right movie? It's been a long time...*

lol Yes I had that movie! I used to love them.
I think they completely lost popularity when Ginger left. Um...is the Sport girl there in the list? ^^ ah you forgot Sporty I think she was called! Oh and how about B-witched? I think that's what they were called. 3nodding

I feel so left out. I was never into the Spice Girls.
As for Lady Gaga I think it's just her. She's outrageous. She's flashy. No one but her can get away with doing. (the outfits mostly) And her songs are catchy. She's a phenomenon
I didn't like her much as at first but she's grown on me. Bad Romance really drew me in to her because I actually really like that song.
I feel so lost with B'Witched too. xD; I thought you meant the movie at first then I realized you were talking about music still. The name sounds familiar but not really ringing any bells. If we're talking 90's I was NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Speas. And strangely, Phil Collins, I had the Tarzan soundtrack on cassette and loved it to death. (Also, I liked Genesis)

@Moonlight: I was a big fan of Cest la Vie, too... ces la vie, cest la... hmm. I ain't sure how to spell it either. xp I also remember "Blame it on the Weatherman" and "Red Indian Girl".
@Zizzy: lol, I remember all those bands, too. Even Phil Collins, but I only knew him for Tarzan as well. Before that, never heard of him sweatdrop
There was plenty of other bands I remember listening to, but those were the most common.
There was also Christina Aguilera. I loved "My Reflection" that she sung in the Mulan movie. Sadly, a lot of my time was spent obsessing over one thing as a kid... Pokemon. sweatdrop I even had a cassette of their music sweatdrop

When I was a kid Phil Collins was "that guy that did the Tarzan soundtrack" My Reflection was a good song. Though not quite as easy to slip into conversation as "I'll Make a Man Out Of You" That song is great to randomly burst out into. Oh man, I've still got my Pokemon CDs xD I have 2 B a Master, random Poke'mon related songs, and the soundtrack to the first movie.
