Looking up at the large, sparkling crystal pyramid that was the Light Empire's mission center, Lenon groaned. It was sure to be startlingly bright inside. Slowing his steps, as if by walking slower, the light would fade faster, he strode towards the towering crystal structure.
Once inside the entrance of said mission center, Lenon looked around. There were a few desks here and there, but the place seemed extremely empty. Shifting awkwardly on his feet, Lenon looked around for something to sit upon. Locating a small, comfortable looking chair, he proceeded to move toward it and sit upon it. His rear end sunk into the cushioned chair as Lenon folded his hands on his lap, still looking around. He sighed after a short pause. The empty pyramid was a sparkling maze of shining lights that confused his eyes - how one could stand being in such a place, he would never understand. Being with a group of people, of course, but Lenon was not used to the light being void of people. Usually, they were absent only in the darkness, save a few. And those few usually found their way into light quickly - nobody could stand the darkness, it seemed.

Lenon forced himself not to jump at a man's words. He settled his hands back down onto his lap as he turned his head to the side. "Thank you." He said quietly, the man having gone back to the papers at the desk that needed filing. Lenon himself just sat back in the chair and relaxed, shutting his eyes so that the blinding light wouldn't reach his vision.

Lenon stared as the new man came in and dropped the boxes off from their position on his back. "Whew, what a workout." he could make out of the man's words. Lenon shifted to hear a little better. Something about a mission, and a partner. Lenon's clothing swished against the fabric of the couch as he contemplated those words. He distinctly remembered another man telling him that another would join him on a mission for something, and how...unfortunate it would be to have him left behind. Lenon internally groaned at the prospect of having a partner. It was extra protection, for sure, but it certainly mean that he was forced into conversing with the man. Instead of going over for a handshake with the man (who he was not even sure was his partner), Lenon instead looked over to the man behind that desk that had spoken earlier.

Lenon heard the footsteps behind him and turned his head to watch the man walk up to him...quite abruptly. "Lenon Karlek." He said simply, reaching for the man's outstretched hand. The loose fabric of Lenon's day clothing ran up his arm until it reached the hidden blade near his wrist, under which the rest of the loose fabric was compressed against Lenon's skin. He examined the man in front of him. He seemed about a year or so Lenon's senior, and there was something about him - he was not just a normal human. After withdrawing his hand from the handshake, he simply looked up at Toryuuku, waiting for him to reply.

"I do not know what the mission could be." Lenon said, shaking his head. "However, I doubt we're off to kill high ranking members of other countries. Far more likely is the chance that we're to pick garbage off of the streets." Lenon could already imagine that - him picking up pieces of garbage with his sword blade and throwing them into a can. He repressed the urge to roll his eyes. As for the second question; "Yes, I am indeed a part of the Assasssins. Thus...." the hand with the hidden blade container had the wrist pointing toward the ceiling for a fraction of a second before it again turned over and rested on his lap.
