I actually meant in Towns, since there are boards with which to do so. I thought that would be obvious since this IS a Towns related thread.

Meiling the Mighty Well, if we could get half that, we could have Touhou versus some other more famous but obviously less important thing. Poissibly Naruto,Death Note,Bleach,Dragon Ball Z, or Smash Bros? Think about it,it WOULD be easy to find 16 characters of those 4 serises.

Heh, it'd be just like those human chess matches you see at those conventions that folks like Yuri Lowenthal, Crispn Freeman, and Vic Mignogna show up to.

Anyway, Connecticon last year actually was supposed to have a cosplay chess event, but then it suddenly got changed to "cosplay deathmatch".
But yes, those series would be very easy to round up. Arranging the whole thing may or may not ever actually happen, but it's a nice concept, right?
