Listening to the story presented, Shun felt it was plausible enough. But something still didn't sit right with him. He thought on it and now tried to think if there was anyone he should know that was tied to the military, whether it be past or present.

Then it hit him. The cadet's eyes widened momentarily before narrowing again.

No.. it can't be.. he thought to himself. The person that had come to mind was no other than the most wanted woman in the Empire. The woman before him looked somewhat like her, but if she really was the infamous Nick, a hell lot had changed.

He couldn't be certain right now, but just the prospect of it being true made the situation considerably more dangerous for himself. Still, he couldn't go jumping on conclusions yet.

"True... but I'm getting the feeling you aren't just a civilian," he replied, "Civilians tend to not carry a whole armory's worth of weapons on them for one."

"And you can say you have seen the whole world and everything in it?"

Nick caught the quick widening of the soldier's eyes. Her own right eye never closed, not even for a blink. There was little she missed in a stair down.

The quick eye change could only mean a few things. Seeing as he had already gotten over the initial shock of seeing her odd appearance, there were a few options. He was catching on to who she was. Or contemplating it. She would have to be careful in her words and be ready for anything the soldier might try to pull.

"I travel, most of the time through active rogue territories... It's best to be prepared..." Her eyes narrowed, the glow dimmed a little in her right eye.

"No, which is why I say they tend to not do so," he grumbled.

Over all, Shun wasn't entirely certain what he should do here. He still tried to asset who she was exactly, but as things went on his suspicions grew. But even if he was right, he wasn't sure just how much he'd be able to do. He had heard the stories of what Nick had done, and right now she most certainly out gunned him. If he made a move against her and messed up, he'd be as good as dead.

If he did end up surviving, this whole ordeal was going to be a pain to report later on.

"That is true..But I think it would have been easier to just request info or anything that once belonged to your ancestors from the army itself" he started, "Unless you have a reason to avoid any army personnel in the first place..."

Oh, this one seemed to have a temper! Nick couldn't help but become amused by the grumbled response of the pilot. Luckily her expression didn't betray this, she kept the amusement inwardly.

His next question was not as amusing as his first repose. He seemed to be testing her now... And that could get dangerous (er). Of all the soldiers out there she had to be found out by quite the bright bulb.

Her brow quirked at his last statement. "There is no reason to avoid them. I wouldn't be in the Empire if I had."

Her hand moved to her hip as he posture shifted. Best to at least look relaxed. "I've already requested the information. But, they wouldn't have anything un-found would they? By the looks of it, they missed this place."

Nothing she said seemed to quite blare out anything out of place. But then again, Nick probably would have been caught long ago if she didn't know how to be careful with her words. This was rather unfortunate for him, seeing how he couldn't just go after someone on the whim that they might be a highly dangerous and wanted fugitive.

Her body language was also rather calm and relatively relaxed, which didn't help him out much.

Maybe Urania had a point about attracting bad luck he thought bitterly.

"Maybe there's nothing left in here to be found in the first place. If they sent me here, the place couldn't be that much forgotten," he said while shifting a little. Keeping on high alert with his gun trained on the woman was getting wearisome, but he felt that he couldn't relax just yet.

"Depending how long ago you sent the request, they may have found something by now. I could take you back to the base... dealing with them face-to-face may also encourage them to hurry up. Either that or I can go ahead and contact them now," Shun explained, pausing momentarily, wondering if he should go ahead and ask for a name. He decided against it for now, seeing how she could already be lying about everything she had said. A lie about her name probably wouldn't be much to add to the list. But there had to be something to trigger some reaction that'd be out of place for someone that was 'just a civilian'.

His last offer was perhaps the most unsettling thing he had said this entire encounter. This soldier was certainly keeping her on her toes. She was fairly surprised he had not asked for a name yet. "My request was sent over a month ago." Nick spoke without hesitation.

Her tone was rather irritated, same as anyone who had gone through the process of requesting anything from the Imperial military must have been. They no doubt had better things to focus on than getting information for someone, like tracking down a murderous fugitive. Nick remembered seeing a few while in service.

"I really hate offices... To many people in a small area." She shook her head . "They make me rather uncomfortable. I'd rather let them focus on keeping our borders safe than continually trouble them with such requests." She moved her hand to her chin, resting it on her thump and pointer finger briefly, minding the gauntlet.

"But if you think they would want to come down here and help a civilian look for old relics of her family maybe you could call them over. They won't get mad or anything" She paused. "... or perhaps you can help me?"

Her hand moved back to her hip as she waited an answer. Those were some tough bluffs to call, but Nick was certain she could count on that narrow hallway if things got bad. And there was always the black fog... but still a last resort.

"I don't blame you," he mumbled under his breath at the mention of disliking a lot of people in a small area. And he supposed with someone with an appearance that she had, that would mean a great deal of eyes staring at her... regardless of who she was.

The woman did have a point. If she was just a civilian, the other soldiers would likely see it as a waste of time. Damn he hated this little guessing game he was having to go through. Sooner or later he'd probably have to just pick one of the two possibilities and run with it. At least if things kept up as they were going now. For now, he was just going to play along. If things went down, she'd have a hard time menuvering in the narrow halls, which hopefully would play to his advantage.

"Perhaps I can. I guess that'd be a part of my investigation in any case," he answered gruffly before finally giving in on the name conundrum. If he was going to be following her, he probably should have something to call her by anyway, "And what is your name anyway? Perhaps I've heard of... your family"

Bent-Tail, all the while had just been listening to the two go back and forth. The rodent's suspicion hadn't quite dropped yet but he was starting to think that maybe the lady just looked funny and nothing more.

"Leyenda Irene Judas, assuming you want the full name." Her hand left her him and returned to the side. She than cautiously took a step toward the Soldier. "Just call me Leyenda."

Nick would have sealed the act with an offer for a hand shake, but she was certain that this one wouldn't tale it. It was not wort the effort. Especially since he still had his gun out.

There was one thing that could have blown the whole lie for Nick, and she was very fortunate that he had not caught on to it. She had to be very careful lest he figure it out quickly.

"I'm looking for anything that might have belonged to them... Uniforms, IDs. Most died during the war so I figured there might still be something left of theirs."

There was a serious doubt that anything like that would be in this part of the temple, and that could work to her advantage.

Shun thought over everything she said while she introduced herself. Now that he thought of it, there was something odd about the last thing she had said. Something he had overlooked when he first heard it, but the way she mentioned the other soldiers seemed rather definitive rather than questioning him if they would become angry.

It only pushed at his suspicions more.

"Very well Leyenda. Cadet Blade Faryn... at your service I suppose," he replied cooly. If she gave a fake name, he may as well do the same. And while he's at it, why not give her the name of an enemy in case she escapes and ever tries to track him down?

Slowly, he lowered his gun and stepped out of the doorway to let her through. He wasn't going to make any moves... not yet. Shun figured he may as well try and find out what she's doing here in the off chance she might reveal her true intentions at this place.

Nick had seen the real Blade once, but fortunately for Shun it was during a strange attack on the rogue camp and her focus was on the bandit King the entire time. She hardly remembered the night in any case, much less the face of a man she had briefly seen.

"An honor." Nick did well to hide the sarcasm in her voice. It sounded sincere enough.

Lowering the gun was a good start, perhaps things wouldn't end up as she feared. And perhaps Shun and his organoid could actually help him in the Judge's odd mission.

"Thank you." She carefully slipped past Shun, her mechanical and cloaked right side facing him. As she passed by she side glanced him, her glare colder than any winter.

Nick didn't wait to see if he would follow before she turned deeper into the halls. Part of her hoped that he wouldn't follow, though she knew that was very unlikely. It wasn't to her liking that he would follow behind her in such a narrow hallway, but if things turned ugly she had a few tricks that might work.

From the back he would not be able to see her face much any more, which was a perk for her position. Her Zi marking would continue to be hidden. Mentally she cursed herself for not caring to cover it up before she entered the territory. Luckily her long white hair had been covering it up during their entire conversation. Not that he really seemed to be looking for it in any case. Or perhaps he just didn't remember what it looked like.

"Not a problem," he muttered before turning to follow her. Once in the hallway, Shun found himself glaring at the back of the woman's head. He knew the stories of Nick's betrayal fairly well; at least as much as anyone else within the military. All in all, he despised traitors, so he'd be glad if he could actually do something about this one.

Once in the hallway, he remembered something that'd probably end up helping them both navigate the area. So he tapped 'Leyenda' on the left shoulder lightly.

"Take the flashlight. It won't do me much good if all I do is shine it on your backside," he said somewhat flatly while holding out the object for her. Perhaps that mechanical eye of hers allowed her to see in the dark, but that wouldn't do him any good for the most part.

Nick looked over her right shoulder at 'Blade'. It would have been much better if he continued to have the light, but she might as well humor him. Her vision was quite fine in the dark with her mechanical eye, but holding the light didn't make much of a difference.

"Right, I forget not everyone can see in the dark." Her right had emerged from behind the cloak with a clink to accept the light. In that hand the light flickered a little, threatening to turn off. Odd... Once she turned around she switched hands. All it took was one irritation and the light would end up like the knife.

"Quite the interesting partner you have cadet." The silence might give this one time to contemplate anything. But keep him talking and perhaps his mind would be too distracted. Nick could only hope. "I've never seen such an organoid up close before... I hear Dr. Fox only gives them to the best... you must be something special."

Not entirely a lie. The Dr. Only takes interest in the best of pilots (though he has taken a notice to scum before) and hands out Organoids to test the ability of said pilots. Nick never had the chase to receive one from him because of the accident.

Once the flashlight had been handed over, Shun stared as the light flickered in her hand. That was odd, the flashlight was fairly new so it shouldn't be going out anytime soon. He then glanced behind briefly to look at the organoid that had been brought up. Bent-Tail quickly looked up as well, before tilting his head at the human, which brought a faint smile briefly to him.

"If I am, I'm sure there are those who'd disagree without any hesitation," he replied flatly, thinking of the Ice Princess he had encountered a few days before. He wouldn't be surprised if she thought she was the most special person around.

"I'm not sure what made Dr. Fox give him to me but I won't complain either," he added with a shrug. And that was completely true. Seeing how he had relatively low tolerance of people in general, and the fact that he has several issues with trust, the cadet didn't make many friends. The rat organoid proved to be quite a good companion over all.

Shaking his head, he brought his thoughts back to the issue at hand. He was fairly certain of his suspicions, but it wouldn't hurt to try and think it over more to be sure.

Despite her spite toward the Empire Nick hated it when soldiers doubted their own ability. Titus would always get 'the talk' when she did the same. Even when Nick was in the military service she talked to several other soldiers about their doubts. They had to think they would get far to do so. The mind was an anchor or a lift.

"Let them disagree..." Nick glanced over her shoulder. "Often those are the ones are jealous of what you have." Though she portrayed little emotion in her tone her words were sincere.

"It was something you had that no one else did. I've never seen an organoid like that before, and that means you were hand picked for something new... Knowing the Doctor that is a huge deal."

Nick looked up in time to notice the start of some lines stretching horizontally across the ceiling. It was odd how they suddenly just appeared.... why? Further down she could see the door to another room. The lines appeared to stop just before the door. At this point she started to become slightly suspicious of the surrounding. This place... something wasn't right.

Quite frankly, her words surprised Shun. And for a little while, he didn't know what to say in response really. Perhaps she was just saying it just to say it, but he wasn't sure.

"Thanks... I think.." he finally replied. His tone had a hint of confusion in it, rather than the usual sense of irritation or grumpiness.

Seeing 'Leyenda' look up, the soldier did the same, only to see the same thing. He quickly looked behind to double-check if the lines had always been there, but apparently they just started showing up. It was a bit odd to him as well, but he wasn't sure if there was anything really significant about it at this point.

"That's kinda weird.." he commented; his normal tone returning now.

Behind, Bent-Tail was acting a little sluggish, though it wasn't very noticable for the time being. The little rat didn't know why he felt this way, but he did his best to keep up with the humans in any case.
