She's kill him one day, he and his Zaber better keep an eye on the sky, her finger might slip next time she saw him. Ranee started fuming when the girl laughed. What the heck was so funny? Though she paused at the mention of her Fiancee, that girl at least had the option of joining the military to avoid it. Ranee had no such option, she was here for a few years to learn and make a name for herself and then she'd get married. Bah.
Ranee turned "So you do know a bit about gossip then eh." her marriage wasn't anything secret, but it was a main point of gossip among noble women.
"Weren't you supposed to be married last year?" Ranee knew all about it, but simply said it as though she'd heard it through someone else. She glared at Shun, he annoyed her.

"Eh. Who needs good luck anyway," he mumbled before blinking at what Urania had said. Crossing his arms, Shun thought on in then shrugged impassively.
"The two probably make a perfect match no doubt."
Apparently the mention of marriage was enough to reel Ice back into the conversation. After returning the glare to her, he looked between the two ladies while hoping the topic won't be staying up that long. The happenings within nobility didn't interest him and marriages in general wasn't very interesting either.
At least his organoid seemed to be having a good time.
The little rat chattered some more, absorbing the attention Urania gave him. One thing for certain, he made up for Shun's grumpiness.

She smiled at Shun, mentally disagreeing with him. The guy needed to learn about luck and the consequences of bad attitude. But hey! It wasn't her place to preach.
She also heard the comment about them being perfect for one another. Now, Urania hadn't met the guy in question, but certainly no one could put up with Ranee's high and mighty attitude for a long period of time without wanting to kill her. "My money is on them killing each other. " she muttered, happily absorbed with playing with Bent-tail still.
Urania was half listening to the woman, but she did pause from her play to look up at the hot-shot pilot. "Only from the letters my family sends me. I honestly could care less if you decided to play hooky on marriage the rest of your career. " She was about to go back to playing, but it seemed like play was over.
Annoyed to some degree, Urania stood up and smiled politely at Ice. "Yes. Yes I was. And yet, here I am, wearing clothes my mother would feint if she saw me in, playing with a rat. I am not getting married for political reasons, nor will I ever get married if that is the only option. " She realized she was leaving someone out.
That's right. The guy on guard duty. Now what could she possibly say to bring him into the conversation that might get a good response... "Shun, what is your opinion on the whole running off to the military to avoid marriage issue? "

"Who's playing hooky It's tradition." she answered, she didn't like her anymore but suppose she should at least try and get along "I'm getting married as soon as I leave the military." So she didn't really pay attention.
Her mother would faint. Ranee didn't answer to that, at least Urania had a mother. Ranee's had died a long time ago, and she only ever had memories left of her.
"Well good luck with that." she tried to pull herself out of her sudden mood change. She raised her brow toward Shun "Yes let's here you're view Shun." she smirked. He obviously didn't like this topic.

Over all, Shun was not very amused with the conversation at hand. For the most part, he tried to ignore it, but then Urania had to go ahead and put him on the spot for his opinion. Ice just egged it on too.
With a glare at both women, he let out a sigh before mumbling out his answer.
"Seems fine by me. The whole issue with nobles and marriages, arranged or not, is just one big hassle," he said with a shrug before glancing at the princess, wishing he could wipe that smug smirk she had right off her face.
Bent-Tail tilted his head when Urania said her mother would faint if she had seen her playing with a rat. He never really understood why rats were frowned upon a lot. And all-in-all, he didn't like it either. Rats were awesome. End of story.

"Tradition or not, I don't plan on leaving the military. " She smiled up at the now annoyed Ranee, not really caring that this could damage her family's political career. It really wasn't her place to fathom that sort of thing. Urania was a solider, end of story. "But congratulations before hand to the marriage. May you and your husband-to-be be as happy as ever together. "
Attention was turned back to Shun and his rather absolute answer. Huh...He had no fun in him at all. "You could charm a baby out of a sucker, couldn't you? " Sarcasm dripped. The statement wasn't quite called for at all, but he was a grump and sort of deserved it.
Though, Urania was back to cooing and giggling and admiring the adorable rat. "I meant no offense to you of course. I'm sure she would adore you! "

"Why thank you Urania." she answered. That was a shot to her pride, she knew very well her dislike of that man. "Shall we talk more over a drink?" she offered she looked at shun. "That includes you and your Organoid friend there of course." Ranee gave Shun absolutely no room to refuse.
And of course who doesn't like a drink after work to help them sleep better.

Shun gave a shrug at Urania's words, not caring so much what she thought. In general, he didn't care too much what others people thought of him, which was probably good in a way. Considering he didn't like people much in general, and people tended to not like him back and all.
Looking back over at the Princess, the cadet stared at her and her offer. He really didn't know why he was included in this offer, considering he was certain she didn't like him much. Maybe it was another thing of the nobles to do something like that but he supposed it didn't matter much.
He thought on the offer, but really wasn't so sure. Shun knew he had a low tolerance for alcohol and really couldn't take more than a single mild drink. That aside, he didn't really know or even really cared for these girls too much. But, on the other hand.. the last time he was in a bar, he was stuck by himself surrounded by a bunch of Republican soldiers and a handful of rogues. Maybe having a drink with some people he knew for once would be nice.
"I suppose," he said with a shrug.
The organoid brightened up at Urania's words, giving a few happy chitters once again. Upon hearing that they may be going to get a drink, he looked back at Shun inquisitively. It wasn't like him to accept an offer like that, but he didn't care. It would probably mean he got to spend more time with the friendly one!

She may have had a shot at Ranee's pride, but pride can easily be mended over time. It wasn't said in spite, just basic wishes of happiness and all of that wonderful Hallmark Card stuff. "After a day like this, a drink sounds rather pleasant and civil. Sure!" Urania giggled, happily. Her good mood was back! yay!
Urania paused the praising of the cute one at the mentioning of getting a drink. That didn't sound like a bad idea. A glass or two of wine would be totally fine. That being said, she glanced to the guy. He agreed? Nifty! Maybe he wasn't so abrasive when he had a couple of drinks in his system.
Again that boosted the girl's spirits more. Or it caused her curiosity to kick in. Either way she was going to have an interesting night. "Well? Where are we heading off to, 'Ice'? "

Ranee gave a nod "Agreed, Drinks are much more civil and pleasant than our earlier conversation." Ranee turned and started back outside. she motioned for the two to follow.
"While I was walking the streets I cam across this nifty little side bar." It had been decorated quite interestingly for one, though like most it had at least one refined picture of the Emperor hanging on it's wall. It was certainly more refined than the pizza bar but she'd go back there another day, she felt more like wine than beer right now anyway.
Urania seemed in good spirits once again. And Shun who seemed reluctant to accept still did, but then again who could refuse her?

With a sigh, Shun ran a hand through his hair, not really having anything to add at the moment. He just hoped he wouldn't end up regretting accepting the offer. In any case, it was too late to turn back now.
Motioning his organoid to his side, he went on to follow the Princess's lead. Bent-Tail happily bounded along to keep up with them. Maybe this little excursion would make his pilot feel a little happier too! Considering his general demeanor, times that actually happened didn't seem to come around all too often. Or if it did, he didn't really show it.

Urania was on her feet and following quite happily along behind. She was half paying attention to her surroundings, though the area looked familiar. Oh! No wonder! It was near the awesome card shop she stopped by earlier today. She was rather amazed she hadn't noticed it before, but not all to surprised she hadn't either.
It was a nifty little spot. Clean too! Clean was always good. And the interesting decorations really made it appealing to look at. Though, Urania would call this place ' artsy' just from the decor.
"Nifty little hole in the wall. " she muttered, quite cheerfully before bounding off to find a suitable table for the four of them. The organoid certainly needed to be able to see what was going on! That'd be rude otherwise! It wasn't off in a corner, but it certainly wasn't one of the tables in the middle of the room. A nice booth worked well for them. And it was well lit too. No brooding in the corners today. Nope nope!
"This works, right? ' she asked the two, er...three others.

Ranee nodded "It's perfect." Urania was certainly good at finding the best spots. She would have picked this one even if Urania didn't suggest it. But she might as well give credit to her. Ice waited for everyone to sit before she did. It was polite, Her groomed manners showing through.
"So how's white wine for everyone?" She asked flagging down one of the men who where moving from table to table. The mood was definitely better than before.

Looking around the place, it didn't seem all too bad at all. As they found and reached their table, he shot a glance at the Princess. So now she thought courtesy wasn't lost on the likes of him. Shaking his head to himself he sat down.
Bent-Tail, noting that there was a spot open for himself. Giving off a happy sound, he hopped up onto the seat and perched himself there.
"Eh, why not," shrugged Shun. His tone was still rather flat for the most part.

Urania giggled in her good mood and shot Ranee a thumbs up. "Sounds good to me! And maybe something to nibble on. I'll pay for the food if you cover the drinks, Ice. "
She then laughed again as the little organoid squeaked in delight about having a seat. What an entertaining little thing! Shun probably didn't know how lucky he was to have such an inquisitive thing tailing about him. He probably did, but Urania decided not to let that rather obvious thought dampen her spirits.
The girl peered at the less than enthusiastic Shun and frowned. "Are you always this exciting? "
