Seraphe looked at Ruby with a small smile. She was still aware of the shape-shifter, but she could risk eating some breakfast. "Yes, I don't mind. Besides, they know me here. I always eat breakfast here, so I don't think they'll bother you." she said, gesturing for the girl to sit in the booth seat across from her. With a smile, she said, "My name is Seraphe Arceneau. And yours?"

Ruby smiled and sat down and scooted in to the middle of the botth seat. "Thank you very much Seraphe." She said. Her ears twitched every oncei n a while and her tail moved to the right and twisted around her so it was mostly laying in her own lap. "I'm Ruby..Ruby Kizuki. Nice too meet you." She said and sniffed the air again. "I can tell by you're scent that you're demon. I myself am half demon. " She said. Most poeple couldn't really tell she was a demon, since she looked and smelt of a were-animal.

Forest let out a sigh of dissappointment, his little scheme had pretty much failed, and as he saw the demon turn the other direction and go to the cafe across the street, it took all his strength to stay calm and keep from getting mad. That was the issue with dealing with demons, they only did things their way. And the only way to work around it was to go with the flow. Which was just a little too hard for Forest at the moment. That's why it wasn't Forest walking out of the alley, just as the red headed fox woman entered the cafe to come sit with her, it was a big fluffy tom cat. He squeezed through the door, and plopped carelessly down on the table, staring the demon right in the face.

Seraphe ignored the shape-shifter for a moment. If he was going to ask for her attention, he would wait until she had finished. This was what was irritating about shape-shifters. They always thought that they should be the first priority. She kept looking at Ruby and smiled, "Yes, I thought that there must have been a reason for walking around half-transformed if you simply a werecat. And please, call me Sera." she said. Finally, she turned to the shape-shifter. "Good morning. May I help you? There must be a reason for you trying to lure me into an alleyway." she said, her guards back up.

"Actually I'm not like other were-animals. I can't change my forms to look animal or human. This is me, unless I get mad then I turn into my demon form." She said with a shrug. Ruby looked down at the cat. "Well I never thought shapeshifters could turn into something so cute." She said iwth a smirk. She always loved animals, and why not she was part of one. She stared at the cat, then raised a eyebrow and looked at Seraphe. Why was he staring her down like that.

Forest jumped down next to wear the demon, apparently Sera, was sitting, despite the fact they were in the middle of a cafe, Forest took liberty to transform into his human body. Right now, the only thing on his mind was the demon and her mysterious friend. Fully transformed, Forest didn't wait to answer her question, "Well, I thought I'd give you a little advice, demon, if you insist on being so discreet with your thoughts, don't be so obvious about being discreet. It makes for a suspicious woman, Which is exactly what I'm looking for." Forest met her glare, and waited for a response, his mind going from the demon's beauty, to her freind's twitchy tail.

Sera looked at him with emotionless. Then, she shifted casually and stirred her tea that she had ordered. She looked at Ruby, "You can order whatever you want. It's on me." she said. Then, looking at the shape-shifter, she narrowed her eyes. "So you're looking for a suspicious woman, huh? Y'know, the red light district is on the other side of the kingdom." She looked back her tea again and slowly took a drink. Once finished, she looked back at the shape-shifter. "To me, it looks like your suffering from an overgrown sense of vengeance. But, tell me, why are you coming to me about it?"

Before Forest reacted to her question, he waved down the waiter, who was for some reason eyeing the table suspiciously, and ordered some warm milk, apparently his cat senses hadn't worn off yet...after that, he turned back to Sera and focused on his present situation. Forest didn't want to give her too much information, luckily, her question was simple, and so was his answer, "You're a demon. And if I hadn't made this quite clear: Suspicious. So I just wanted to ask a few friendly questions. You're name is Sera, is that what I heard? That's close to the name Seraphe isn't it? General Seraphe?" He purposefully ignored the "vengeance" thing, knowing it was just another way to get information out of him.

Ruby stared at the cat as it turned into a byo next to Sera. Ruby stared for a moment then quickly looked downward. Again her fur hide any emotion and her eyes and facial expression were plain and emotionless as well. But he was cute. She looked around and then back at them. If this turned into anything she would probably just move away, since she only really got into fights when truelly needed or she was paid for it. She got herself some meat, she didn't know what it was tho, she had never been taught to read really, so she had just pointed to the picture when a waitress walked by. Ruby stred downward at her drink , her brown hair falling over her glowing orange eyes. She looked up through her hair tho watching them.

Sera looked at the shape-shifter for a moment, scrutinizing him, before answering, "So you're traveling around Arcadia with the idea of interrogating every demon you see?" she shook her head, "I do not envy you, shape-shifter." She took another sip of her tea, but while she did, she sent a carefully guarded look at Ruby across the table from her that said, Please don't mention my real name. Then, she set down her cup and looked at the shape-shifter again. "General Seraphe? Are you talking about the retired goddess of the Demon military? It's true that she is living here in Arcadia, but that doesn't give you the job of hunting down every high powered female demon in the area." She turned back to her tea again, but before drinking, she said, "No, boy. You won't be finding General Seraphe. My name is Sera. Respect the difference."

Forest felt dissappointment come over him, though he was careful not to show it. "No, every demon would indeed be too much, I surely wouldn't be able to handle it. Just those I think worth my while. But, you have confirmed some of my suspicions, so I can thank you for that. I will not waste your time any longer." Forest turned his back on her, about to leave the table, but tilted his head back to her for a few last words,"But, If that's what it took, to interrogate every single Demon in Arcadia, on Pan, I assure you, I would do it." With that, he nodded to her Foxy friend, Ruby, and was on his way, only regretting he hadn't had the chance to drink some of that warm milk as he turned back into his former tom cat body.

Ruby watched as he left. She looked up once he left the table and she looked at Serapha. "Well what a characters. " She said with a smirk as she liffted her drink to her lips and took a small sip. Just the drink alone helped a lot better. she was so hungry so thirsty at times. She was glad she met a nice enough demon to help her out a bit. "But I must say, he's not the ugliest guy in the bunch." She said iwht a smirk. That would be weird to just say that he's cute, so she chose a less more obvious way of saying he was somehwat good looking. She lowered her hands into her lap and messed with the fur of her tail, slowly running her fingers through it. She turned her head to the side and looked out of the window and looked up toward the sky for a moment before she looked along the streets then back down at her drinks.

Sera took a moment to recover from the emotions that confrontations always left her with before answering Ruby, "He may be handsome, but he's got an enormous buildup of hatred circling inside his body. Even if I were human, I would still be able to sense that black cloud inside his heart." She turned from the topic and took a drink from her tea. Then, she looked at Ruby with a small smile, "Do you have anywhere to stay? You seem like the kind that moves from home to home. If you want, you can stay in my home for as long as you need." she offered. She lived in a Victorian styled villa near Kuroi-Hoshi Lake on the eastern edge of Arcadia. She had come from a wealthy family, after all, and after spending so much time in the military at such a high position, she had accumulated enough to own a large estate in many parts of the Kingdom.

Ruby smiled and nodded. "We all have hatred or feelings for things, but keep them bottled inside. " She said and difting off to her thoughts about how she hides her emotions for everyone, but then blinks and looks at her. Her food was brought and she took a large bite. "Thank you Sera." She said with a smirk. "But I truelly don't think any one really needs me in their home. " She said. She wasn't really safe when she lived with other poeple, well the others weren't. Many poeple were after a were-animal/demon creature, knowing by scent if they had good enough scent, were after her for the killings she had done. She was paid for it and that is her job, well one of them anyways, and she really needs the cash at times.

Forest spent his trip walking home thinking of the conversation with Sera, he couldn't help but feel there was more to her. What made her so bitter? Why did he feel as if she understood him so easily? It didn't make sense. He felt the urge to want to talk to her again. But not of serious things, of demons, and armies, and government, and his mother. But of fun and careless things he would have talked about with all his friends back home. Of art, and food, and people and places. Thinking of the boring motel room, with scratchy sheets, and the dirty bar he usually sat in before he went off to his nightmares, along with his compulsion to see Sera again was all it took to make him turn around. His tail flickered behind him, as he was still a little tom cat. From her poise and looks, Sera was no doubt a wealthy experienced young woman. Most likely living in east Arcadia, a very wealthy area. Forest thought of being able to run into her again, and headed in that direction.
