"Pardon me for my Tardiness,." she have a little bow over the com "Something was foudn on my radar but.."" the closer we got to it the more Seraphim's systems started acting up, the Com systems even quit working there became a point Seraphim even refused to go further." she explained. it was true but only partial truth but better than no truth at all.
"Something is out there... " she added glancing back behind her "Seraphim refused to look for it though."

"What? You found something and didn't investigate?" Cruse growled over the com-link. "Our mission is to bring back any information on this damn place! You know what will happen if we return and you bright back nothing?"
In a fury Cruse took off in the direction Marcia had come from. If she found something and didn't bring it back it was all the more for his own glory. The wolf whimpered as it too begun to pick up the odd presence. There was no way he would get in trouble for this cadet.
Nick looked back to see the ashes of the field becoming disturbed in the distance. Again? Nick growled and turned to face the oncoming ZOID.

"No You cant! It's to dangerous, If the systems freeze you'll become a sitting duck!" Seraphim had refused to continue for a reason, and Angelina trusted the Liger's intuition. It was dangerous nothing else mattered.
"We have to stop him from waking whatever was bothering your systems!" The prideful moron was going to get them both killed and they'd have no way to call for help since the comms cut as well.
Seraphim roared in agreement as it took off gaining speed with every stride, he needed to cut the command wolf off and get it back to base. It didn't matter they could just report the strange happenings it was better than being dead. Seraphim felt the pressure again though with little effort caught up to the Command wolf and tried to cut it off.
The coms cut again and the sensors started not to make any sense anymore.
"We have to go back!" she insisted

Cruse, amazingly, weaved around the liger with little trouble. "Stand down cadet, you will not ruin this mission for me!" When he tried to comment about her actions he found that it was impossible to communicate any more through the com link. His last message didn't even make it through.
All his screens turned off and the controls for the ZOID begun to fail. The wolf groaned as he was urged forward through the charred lands, something was not right, he, the wolf, was becoming tired.
Nick frowned as she saw the two ZOIDs approaching. Her right hand balled into a fist than released. This one was not as smart as the other...
Cruse looked at the figure, ignoring Angelina completely. The dark cloak hid every metallic part of her body, and the glow in her eye was too dim to see from his angle. This must have been what Angelina had seen! Evidence! She would- "UMPH!" Suddenly his wolf stumbled and came to a sliding halt. Ash kicked up everywhere.
Nick remained still even when the wolf had nearly plowed her over. It's only mere feet away. The debris that was kicked her way by the impact did very little to mover her as well.
Cruse grunted. His head had jolted and hit the corner of the panel quite hard. Blood slid down the corner of his brow. "Ung.... damn ZOID... can't.. even.. run....."

Seraphim skidded to a stop as the other wove around it, Seraphim knew how close to get and how far away it needed to stay to keep functioning.
Angelina watched as the zoid suddenly quit functioning as it approached the cloaked figure... that was why Seraphim refused to go any further he didn't want to cease to function. Leaving it's pilot at the mercy of whatever caused it. If the coms were working she would have given the guy an 'I told you so.'
"Idiot..." she looked at the wolf. she'd have to get out now, but wasn't that just as dangerous... he might have very well angered. by being an idiot whatever was causing this. Angelina's cockpit opened. She Bowed to the figure
"I'm sorry." she said praying nothing bad would happen now.

Nick glared at the cockpit of the wolf ZOID almost maliciously. This would surely cause a big stir in the Republic. Two dead soldiers and who to blame? The same way as last or shall this be more creative. The Iron Judge chuckled to herself as she took a step toward the cockpit. Her steel toe boot sunk slightly in the soft ash pile close to the chin of the ZOID.
"...." She shook her head as the wing pilot spoke up again. The silver gauntlet on her left hand reflected the brilliance of the evening sun as she touched the chin of the sleeping wolf. The small headache subsided along with the creative thoughts on how to mutilate the wolf's pilot. "I told you to leave."
Nick glared at Angelia with a spine chilling glare. The dull sapphire eye seemed to glare right to Angelina's soul. Her scars were now slightly visible on her face as she shifted a little to get a look at the wing Pilot. Still none of the metal shown, and the red glow was quite dim behind the dark cloak.
Cruse fretted with the controls trying to get the cockpt open. Thankfully, his was jammed. He cursed and shifted about aggressively.

Angelina noticed something different right away, the way the woman was acting... was changed. She was much quieter and carried herself in a different manner.
Seraphim sensed it too. The zoid snarled at her instead now. even with Angelina trying to console that thing, he's be ready to flee. With or without the wolf.
"I'm sorry we were about to until the Private there decided to come running back this way for the sake of his pride." Angelina shivered as she was glared at. That was definitely not the same person as before. The ere were ugly scars across her face along with a metallic gauntlet as she touched the wolf as though contemplating something.
Angelina was afraid suddenly. She finally understood the liger. They were in trouble deep trouble.

"He is a fool..." Nick drug the sharp claws of the gauntlet across the chin. The screech unfazed the creator of the noise. "Fools don't last very long out here."
Her left hand hid once more under the cloak as she looked back at Angelina. The crimson eye brightened. The light showing through the thick cloth before that side of her face came into full view. The glow revealed the wires in her face and the terribly scarred right half of her face. She frowned, they were lucky that the headache was no longer present.
She side glanced to the cockpit where Cruse was now pounding on the canopy for freedom. Nick's right hand flexed. That man wouldn't get out any time soon... at least if she did nothing. But for the moment her focus was on Angelina. Her right eye brightened as he frown deepened.
"You know what they say the pride comes before, Soldier?" She growled flashing the sharp fangs the Judge has so kindly given to her.

Angelina's face twisted as the sharp metallic sound made her feel as though her hears bled. Angelina forced herself to remain calm despite he fear that continued growing in her. She wanted to run, she and seraphim were the only ones who could. But she'd ever forgive herself if she let someone else die. And so here she stood trying to reason with something unreasonable.
She hoped somehow he'd find away out while she continued to distract and hopefully keep it amused so it wouldn't kill them. Angelina didn't like the way the woman was looking at her now. And she couldn't tell what she was scheming either nor if she was playing right into her hands.
"I do, Pride comes before the fall, is the saying I believe." She bowed again, as long as she stayed polite it seemed as though things were going to work out... maybe someone would realize they'd lost contact with the pair and send someone... Doubtful.

"Good." Nick turned away from from Angelina. She looked at the cockpit before latching onto the chin of the ZOID and leaping from jaw to the top of the cockpit. Cruse halted in his attempt to escape once he saw the cloaked form before him. Nick glanced at him with a small grin. There was some pleasure in scaring such an individual... Nick hated arrogance, and it was written all over this man's face.
"Keep your ZOID still." Nick looked back at Angelina. That grin removed from her face before her head turned. "Any hostility and all of your lives are forfeit. Understood?"
The palm in her concealed right hand begun to glow a bright red as the heat increased. Nick would have just left the two soldiers a long time ago, but something was telling her to stay a bit longer. The white wing soldier was something else. Courageous... she had every chance to run away with her functioning ZOID, yet here she stayed for this man's life. If only Nick had gotten to work with such soldiers when she was in the imperial army...

"Yes." she said simply as she watched the cloaked woman leap atop the cockpit. What was she doing? Was she going to let him out? Angelina didn't know but if she broke her promise not to move both her life along with that of Seraphim, Cruse, and the command wolf.
Seraphim growled in reluctant agreement even if he disliked both that zoid and it's pilot.
Angelina like Seraphim didn't move an inch, she just watched trying to keep her breathing calm and even. Cruse must be terrified having that woman standing right above him.
Angelina caught sight of the glow and it continued to increase, What was that? She couldn't move even to look, she'd Promised...

Nick looked away from the liger and focused on the cockpit of the ZOID. "Let's hope you learn some humility little boy." Nick quietly laughed to the terrified pilot. There was several options for getting this soldier boy out of the cockpit, but this option seemed more fun...
Once the glow turned white Nick plunged her right into the cockpit, just as she had done to the black wing blade. The black cloak fell over her shoulder as she struck downward, obscuring Angelina's view of the metallic arm. This canopy was far easier to break through than the other. The armor was weaker, to her relief.
Cruse screamed for his life as he tried to back further into the cockpit. His back pressed hard against the wall and continued to press in his feeble attempt to back away. Several times he cried for his mother to save him.
Once Nick made a large enough hole she ripped the pilot from the cockpit and tossed him back to the ash filled field. Steam hissed from her arm as the palm begun to rapidly cool down. Needless to say Cruse would have to find a new uniform... the collar on his was now burned beyond repair.
Cruse grunted as his body slammed against the warm ground. Consciousness quickly faded from him.
Nick looked over to Angelina after she lept from the cockpit. Angelina would now be able to see the nice hole she left in getting the pilot out. It looked as if a monster had clawed it aggressively. She than motioned for Angelina to approach. "Just you, your ZOID will suffer the same fate as the wolf if it comes any closer..."

Angelina was both terrified and amused at the same time, the stiff was getting what it seemed to be more psychologically tortured than physically tortured. She believed he deserved this yet couldn't help but feel sorry for him. It was odd, to see someone at their lowest.
When the woman covered her arm with her cloak she resisted the urge to move to see it better. It was obviously something she didn't want seen.
Cruse was out. And Slammed against the ground hard And Nick turned to her again. She gulped. She had to go down there now...
Seraphim gave a growl of protest but didn't move except to lower it's head to allow Angelina to hop out of the cockpit before returning to it's even standing position.
Angelina had one hand on Seraphim's claw for a moment before taking a deep breath and walking forward toward Nick. Hopefully to retrieve the stiff. "I understand." she said as she walked toward nick.

The glow in Nick's right eye dimmed as Angelina drew closer. With her left hand she tried to pull the hood more over the right side of her face to cover up the scarred and metallic appearance. The steam had stopped pouring out from her arm once it was cooled completely. Luckily that was before Angelina had drawn to close.
"Tell me, why didn't you run away when you had the chance? Leave him to his mistake..." Nick inquired with no change in her tone. Her hands hid once more under the cloak briefly revealing some of the daggers attached to her belt.

She had asked her why, Angelina stared right at Nick, like all things nothing was simply black and white, she had a demon to deal with like everyone though perhaps her's was larger than most. That was a simple answer for her. "As foolish and Arrogant as he is, I dislike seeing anyone die, no matter what side they belong to, nor could I forgive myself if I just left him to his own stupidity." the fear she had felt earlier had dimmed a little "Everyone deserves another chance, and perhaps this will teach him something."
she looked up at Nick "You aren't as dark as you pretend to be either." she had warned Angelina earlier to avoid this fiasco. She was still taken back by the daggers, no doubt if she answered wrong. She would be killed. But she answered only what she believed and hoped this woman understood.
