Nodding excitedly she leaned back, kicking the keels of her boots up on to the edge of the bench, leaning back against it and eating a bit of her ice cream as she listened to Akemi telling her story about how she got her Fushigi.
“I’m glad you found her. She looks so beautiful, you take good care of her” smiling as she sat up again.

“Being a trainer is pretty hard work, especially all the traveling; it’s a lot of fun though! I’ve never been to so many new places before. Are you from this town?” she asked, guessing she must know a lot of these kids, probably out helping them train, though… why wouldn’t any of them be sitting with her.

she confirmed this topic got a little more emotion from the Veporeon’s features, her head dipping slightly, eyes closing while she explained before large yellow orbs opened once again to look back to the Ivysaur.

Akemi couldn't help but grin from Rosie's compliment. All her pokémon had somewhat peculiar color traits - but none were as peculiar as Rosie's Vahy´n. "Thanks, I try my best to treat all my pokémon well. Some people prefer more strict training methods, but personally I want them to enjoy the battles too - whether we win or lose", she told the girl, patting the four pokéballs at her belt, one of them being Fushigi's.

"Yeah, sometimes I wonder how parents even let their kids leave on pokémon journeys so young - I guess it's a way of hoping they'll grow up soon with the experience or something", she remarked when Rosie brought up pokémon training. "And no, I'm from the remote region of Orre, actually, though I have been all over the place, more or less. Lived in Kanto and Johto for a while before coming out here. This is a pretty nice place, kind of quiet compared to other regions. Are you from around here?" she responded, turning to look at the blonde girl. She didn't really want to talk about her background much more, as there were many things that were best kept hidden considering Akemi's position.

One thing that Akemi had noted was that the other girl, while seemingly younger, was several inches taller than her. Rosie probably thought that the pale girl was the same age as her..

Fushigi nodded in understanding at Vahy´n's explanation. The Ivysaur kept its jade eyes on the Vaporeon the entire time. "So both your families have been connected for generations, huh?" it repeated for confirmation. "Must be interesting to pass down from one master to their child."

Ezekiel began to walk again, he had linger long enough as he watched the interactions after the fight, but suddenly one of his legs was wrapped up in the vines of his dear pokemon. He huffed and looked back, only to see yet another green appendage pointing towards the ice cream. The scientist shook his head and tried to continue walking, but then found both his legs unmovable. The mute manage a growl and he looked down at Palmer, shaking his head and giving him the command to let him go.

Palmer whimpered as he pulled his vines back, he really wanted ice cream! He looked towards the delicious sweet treat and started drooling until a rather loud whistle interrupt him, turning his head back to the mute trainer, only find him to be about two yards foward. The ivysaur yelped and quickly went after him.

“So you are a long way from home then?” Rosie’s eyebrows arched as she watched the other Girl, looking impressed.
It made Rosie wonder just how far her training will take her, she knew she had a potential of more Journey’s ahead of her.
“I’ve visited the coast of Johto before with my family for vacation once. It was beautiful, Think it would be nice to train there someday”
shaking her hair off her cheeks a little, she turned to look down at the two pokemon, reaching out to touch Vahy’n’s head fin.

Vahy’n looked up at Rosie when she touched her, letting off a soft coo, before she turned her attention back to Fushigi.

“Is it sad being so far away from home though?” she asked, tilting her head to look back over at Akemi. “Miss your family? Friends? I bet you call them all the time though.”

Vahy’n gave the other pokemon a small smile, “our families have been tied, and we always know where we belong. It was my young that would have gone to one of my mistress’ children.”

"Yeah, I am", she responded with a nod. "Orre's a really quiet place, we don't get tourists or anything. Most of the region's a desert anyway. And yeah, I really liked it in Johto and Kanto too. Pretty lively, and so many kinds of pokémon!" she continued. The girl then reached to scratch behind Fushigi's ear, and the Ivysaur closed its eyes contently for a moment.

Akemi's smile disappeared after Rosie's next question. This was one of the things she didn't really enjoy talking about. As far as she was concerned, the only family she had anymore was her brother - and even his whereabouts were unknown. "Uh.. I don't have that many friends.. and my parents passed away years ago. They got in an accident", she said, her tone slightly tense, but she hid it the best she could. "So there's no one to miss me, or to be missed, really."

Fushigi had noted the other Ivysaur from before, and followed it with its eyes as it dashed after its Trainer. Apparently it had been wanting some ice cream too, judging by the way it was trying to pull its Trainer towards the stand.
"Ah.. I see. You don't have any offspring, then?" it asked the Vaporeon.

Blue eyes widened behind the small mound of pink icecream, a shocked seriousness took over Rosie's pleasant features, it was amazing how genuinely concerned the young trainer could look, when before she had only been smiles.
"I'll be your friend!" she said very suddenly, sitting up quickly and pulling a leg up to fold it under her as she turned to face Akemi better.
"I think we have allot in common, we could be good friends"
smiling brightly again, lowering her cone closer to the bench, her entire focus on the dark haired girl.

she said, with a small smile, and tilt of her head

Akemi was slightly taken aback by this sudden notion. "Ah... okay.." she said, obviously a little unsure about how to reply. If they did indeed become friends, it would mean a lot of lying and hiding things for Akemi.. and being a very honest and genuine person, that would be a challenge for her.

And still... challenges were always good, right? As long as one was seeking to improve. After just a few seconds of silent contemplation she smiled at Rosie again. "Sure, let's be friends. It'd be something new for me, at least", she then said. It just meant that "Akemi" and "Grunt Yumeno" would basically have to be separate people from now on.

Fushigi shook its head then. "Nope, haven't had any. I find the concept a bit strange for the time being", it said in a somewhat embarrassed manner. "But hopefully you would get your chance soon. Humans grow pretty quick too, after all."

Ezekiel took a seat on bench after buying a hotdog, his way of somewhat giving in to big ivysaur puppy dog eyes. That and he had skipped lunch at his brother's. If there was one golden rule (besides always keep a gun on you when there) was to never eat anything that his brother cooked(unless you were willing to eat the pokefood, which was the only safe thing), because you would never know where the meat really came from and truly, you didn't want to know. Tearing up half the hot dog bun, and just the bun, he gave that to Palmer and then begin eating the hotdog.

Palmer looked at half bun he had been given and pouted, this was not ice cream! He tried the pout on Ezekiel, but the scientist just ignore him in favor of his food. Giving up, for now, he decided to just eat the offered food, but he'll get that ice cream sooner or later.

Rosie beamed when Akemi agreed to be friends with her, the young blond pushed herself up, leaning over to grab her bag and rummage through it for a moment, smiling the entire time, before pulling what look like a pink Pokegear out of her bag.
"oh yay! whats your number? I can put you in my PokeGear!

Vahy'n looked over at her trainer in the young girls excitement. tilting her head as she watched her go through her bag

smiling softly at Fushigi, before Vahy'n pushed herself up, to place her front paws on the edge of the bench, leaning forward toward Rosie was was fiddling with her Pokegear settings.
Rosie held the cone out for Vahy'n letting her lick at it lightly.

Rosie sure moved fast. The younger girl seemed happy to have made a new friend, and Akemi tried to share the same enthusiasm. Sharing her number could become a problem, however..
The older girl's PokéGear was charcoal in colour, she'd got it from her brother back when they had been living in the Kanto and Johto area. Therefore it wasn't exactly new, but at least it worked fine.
"So uh.. there's just one thing.. I'm not used to talking on the phone, so I might not always answer. But I promise if I notice you've called, I'll get back to you as soon as I can.. k?" she said with an embarrassed smile, hoping that her excuse was plausible.

"Mm, I suppose", the Ivysaur admitted with a slight nod. "I'm just not quite there yet. But as long as I make my trainer happy, it's enough for me. You know?"

"oh thats fine!" Rosie replied with a giggle, lowering her pokegear to look over at her new friend "I'm usually pretty myself. but I'll make sure to call you at least every week and we can catch up okay? And you can call me, or call me back anytime you want to. I do have school sometimes, and with training, I get really busy."

Staying up close by Rosie, Vahy'n let the human have the icecream back, looking down over at Ivysaur. came her answer joined by a knowing nod.

Akemi's smile grew more natural once more, even though she'd hidden the tenseness of the previous moment pretty well. "Yeah, that sounds good to me. Kodo's a pretty small region and I don't think there are any gyms here though, so are you planning on visiting other places?" she asked, leaning back on the bench once more. "Or are you even aiming for the League? I never got very far myself, it's not really my thing."

Fushigi nodded again, it was obvious that the Vaporeon knew what it was saying. "Yeah.. when you really think about it, every day could be your last", it remarked. This was the first time the Ivysaur had had such a philosophical conversation, but there was nothing wrong with that. Everyone's time came at some point.

"Mmm" Rosie tilted her head up, pondering the question for a moment.
"I don't really know, someday it would be nice to travel and try the gym challenge. I havn't really thought about it. I think for now, I just want to train Vahy'n and get to know what she's capable of. Plus I like being close to home." she added with a smile to her new friend.
"you've been outside Kodo? what are the gyms like? and the league?"

Vahy'n nodded quickly, then looked back up to Rosie.

The girl nodded. "Yeah, my family used to live in the Kanto-Johto area. We kinda moved between the two regions a lot, but at that time I did start a journey. I sort of dropped it pretty soon after our parents died though. It just didn't seem right, although I think they were hoping for me to make it to the League one day.." she trailed off, stopping for a moment. She'd never really thought about journeying again after the incident.
Deciding she didn't want to depress the younger girl, she shook her head slightly then. "Going on a journey is really fun though, you get to see places, meet new people, it really makes you grow as a person, you know. Gyms are pretty challenging, but the Leaders are all great people", she said in a somewhat lighter tone. "Oh, and there's so many pokémon out there that you'll probably never even see when staying in one place!" she finally added.

Fushigi had noticed Akemi's reaction when she brought up her parents. The Ivysaur had been with the girl already back then, and remembered how painful it had been for its young Trainer. With a look of concern, it extended its vines, gently wrapping them around its petite Trainer. "Losing someone is really painful.. both to them and us. I sometimes wish no one had to die, but that wouldn't be right either."

A slight tilt of Rosie's head showed a little more calm when Akemi was talking about her family, and where they lived. but she kept a positive smile.
"Oh wow, that sounds wonderful Akemi. Someday I'll be sure to go out and see all those different kinds of pokemon. And meet new wonderful people like you~"

"you speak from experience?" Vahy'n asked, her eyes stilling on Fushigi's
