Crisis averted, Audrey flopped back down into her booth, pleased to note that there were, in fact, nachos left. "Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. I can think of a few things that you wouldn't be able to handle on your own, and that's where I come in." Reaching into the bag that'd been shoved into the corner of the booth, the captain drew out several items. Dungeons and Dragons guide, notebook, cell phone, a bevy of multicolored pens. She flipped the notebook open and started tearing off scraps of paper, jotting down a phone number and passing it out.
"Firstly, this is my cell phone number. Nobody really picks it up but me, so you can call it if you are in trouble. I don't really advocate carrying your cell with you when you're out and about, but if you can memorize it there are pay phones. Or take someone else's." Eyes were eloquent on just how they could obtain someone else's cell phone. "If it's an emergency, I can be there almost instantly. If I'm in school and you decide that you want to skip and have a fun day of it and get in trouble, it's your a** in the fire because I cannot come save you." It was important that she get this across as firmly as possible. She was going to do her best for her team, but not at the expense of her own identity.
"If I find out you're selling my number at Hillworth, I will personally kick your a** across the city." A smile bloomed, and it was not nice. It also got the point across rather clearly. "There's some other stuff we have to go over, but I think it'd be best, I suppose, to get existing questions out of the way early. So hit me." Sitting back, she pulled the nachos up and dove in without even waiting for acknowledgement. They'd talk when they were ready.

"Sure you don't want to call her Mon Capitain in front of everyone?" Zac asked arching an eyebrow and stacked the cups so that one was simply doubled up, this... was of course the source of his irritation to start with.
He filled the two cups and refrained from pointing out that Audrey was already eating, had already ordered, and was capable enough to be captain... she could use the cup if she wanted it but he was NOT about to insult her intelligence without further assessment.
"Come on then....Worf...." He said pulling the first name he could honestly remember from his rather shallow pool of Star Trek knowledge. With Zac it was as close to a peace treaty as was likely to happen after he'd decided you did something he thought was bothersome. He would 're-evaluate' later based on how Wolf did 'in the field' he told himself. They were after all a team, he'd have to work with him. Besides, the boy was a little taller and that could always be beneficial.
He set the drinks down before himself and Demy and sat down and waited on Landon to sit down before he glanced back at Audrey. "Alright... I think we're set..."

Okay, so Ladon really wasn’t hitting it off with Zac. In fact, he didn’t really much care for the boy. The fact he was now teasing him by calling people by their rank was not helping, and he frowned when he was asked why he didn’t call Audrey his captain. Okay, so he was new! He didn’t know if he could get away with just saying it, and he had whispered. Couldn’t he give him that much credit?! Apparently not, and he found himself sitting with a bit more attitude than he needed, sliding the fully tray over to the other side of the table where the blonde sat. It seemed his displeasure with Zac hadn’t done unnoticed, as the blonde quickly excused his friend’s behavior. It was true that he didn’t get where Zac was coming from or his brand of humor. If it would take time to figure the other boy out, he would have to cross his fingers and hope, but he wasn’t holding his breath.
He gave the blonde a soft "Thanks." for at least trying to talk to him and shedding some light on the situation. If this glowstick-chewing boy was around, maybe his team wouldn't be too bad. A bit hyper, but he seemed nice.
While everyone came in and took their places in the booth, the matter of business began. It was good too, because if he had to make idle small talk, things might get ugly. He was still trying to figure out what the word ‘worf’ meant, and felt he would have to look it up online when he got home. Star Trek hadn’t been big at his house, which meant a few jokes were going to go right over his head. All he could remember was that their was a guy named Spock who had a weird hand sign and that some guy was just a doctor and had to keep reminding everyone that he was under qualified for anything else.
As Audrey’s number went about, he took it and fished out his phone, already putting it in. As he did, he continued to pay attention, and then looked up. His hand was just about to move up when he remembered that this wasn’t school and there was no need to raise your hand. He kept putting the number into his phone before closing it. “Our star seed quota, how many are we suppose to collect in one week? At least a minimum?” He didn’t want to admit that it was hard still just to take one, but he also had to know what number could get you by and what could impress his superiors. How many starseeds was everyone else taking in? Probably far more than he had.

Demy had brushed off the little comment about Audrey thinking up more things he couldn't handle. Well -duh-, that's why he had Z! Z planned out things, he did them, they were an excellent team!
...But having more teammates wouldn't hurt either.
In one fluid motion Demy produced his cell phone from his pocket and snatched up the scrap of paper with Audrey's number. In a matter of moments it was added to his already rather long contacts list and then he set about the rather important task of replying to the thirteen new text messages he had. Afterall it was just a little meeting, no need to pay much attention.
The glowstick was still hanging out of his mouth, and his free hand (he had mastered the art of texting with one hand long ago), snaked it's way towards Z, eventually resting across the shorter boy's shoulders. A few calm moments of this and then Demy tugged the boy closer to rest against him. Ah.....perfect.
"Can we have team parties? Maybe a sleepover?" The boy was grinning, but his gaze was still focused on his cellphone texting. There wasn't much of a chance of him asking serious questions either.

Self-control was perhaps the most valuable asset any human being could ever develop. Audrey thought she had quite a lot, really, but when Scheelite dragged the smaller boy in against him to snuggle like some sort of stuffed animal, she'd nearly shamed them all and burst into laughter. As it was, she was unable to suppress the wide grin and shook her curls. "My parents are cool, but three boys alone with me in my bedroom all night? Nobody's that cool. Parties are doable though." Shoulders rolled into a shrug. "Look me up, the more my parents see you, the less they'll think about me vanishing to go 'hang out' with you. However, you're welcome to have sleepovers without me!" Her fingers made the quotations in the air, and she turned to Ladon and answered his more serious question, the bulk of her mirth extended.
"Generally, you're expected to expand your collection at an exponential rate as your ease in your new role and learn things about your new ah...abilities." She hesitated on the last word, worrying lightly about the use of jargon a senshi might pick up on for a later ambush. "One is your minimum, it is unacceptable for you to manage no gathering whatsoever. Work at a pace comfortable for you, we don't want you to do something stupid and get axed, it's counter-productive." A swig of drink to clear her throat and she shook her head again. "If you're falling behind, or need anything, just grab me. Oh! And! It's best that nobody find the uhm...donators to the cause." Her voice lowered almost dramatically. "If you can't find a way to dispose of a body, drop it off a high building. Tragic suicide, and interesting bodily fireworks." She had employed this method herself several times.
It really was tragic, the climbing suicide rate in Destiny City.

Zink made a note to check Audrey's number on his phone later against what Dem had, and if he didn't have it to get it then. No one needed to see the panda charm, not yet. The motion of the arm distracted him for a moment then, a suspicious stare as it moved... around him. He stared at it like it was a venomous snake for a whole split second before he was mashed against Demy's chest 'affectionately'. If gazes could be lethal, Zac's would have leveled a small city. "Dem..." He said with a quiet, poisonous intonation. "What have we said... about personal space, and PDA."

It wasn’t so much self-control than it was confusion and then a mild case of shock. The boy who he still had yet to know the name of he felt was just a good friend to Zac, and was just giving his advice by being around the guy. There hadn’t be any signs that Ladon had picked up to indicate anything else to suggest their friendship was actually a relationship, but sometimes he wasn’t the most observant when it came to those things. That was because PDA and displaying affection wasn’t something his family had been big on, and he always felt that was something you did in private as it was improper to do it otherwise.
The awkwardness only added to the fact that he didn’t even think, for a second, that they were together in the first place, and then his eyes gathered up all the clues like a detective solving the case by zeroing on the evidence. Zac bought food for the blonde, hadn’t asked him what he wanted, and paid without having to tell the other guy he was doing so. It was a familiarity that suggested this was something he usually did, perhaps, on a date.
Ladon blinked once. Twice. Three times before his brain started up again and he glanced to the side, admiring a picture of a Bell Pepper on the wall. He didn’t have anything against boys being with boys. That wasn't it at all. It was being around romantic couples, especially now considering both of them were on his team. He wondered that if any of them did have a sleepover, if the two boys would share a sleeping bag, but then his brain just told him to stop thinking and move on.
“Are we just teaming up for protection and to get to know each other or are we watching out for the knight that’s going around?” He was warned that there was a girl (or was it a guy?) that they were suppose to run away from, and if they were in teams, did that mean the knight was really dangerous? Or was this a sort of apprenticeship program for Lieutenants to work under a Captain? He just wanted to be clear, and it was the only thing he could think of other than hoping the two boys didn’t get too friendly here in public.

Soon enough Ladon would learn there really wasn't much of a chance of the two boys getting too 'friendly' with each other in public. Afterall, Demy was the overly clingy sort that hung on just about anything without boobs (and sometimes with them too, but for less amounts of time). It just so happened he hung on Z most often because....well because Z was his, duh. Zac however, hated the so called PDA and used any chance he got to tell Demy to knock it off.
This time however, would be just as 'successful' as all the rest. "No Z, this is a cellphone, not a PDA." Did he care he got the wrong definition of PDA? Nope. Not at all. Demy seemed quite content to sit there texting, even with an all but snarling Z resting against his chest.
"Alright, parties are doable. Z, we're gonna have parties. Got that? And yesssss I'll study and all that blah blah blah before we do any party things so don't freak out on me okay? Sheesh." Text text text. There. Finally. All the texts were replied to----damnit, another one. Again he opened his phone to resume replying.
"A knight? Dude I didn't know we were going against knights. When the hell did we hit up Medieval Times?"

Obviously Dem was special. But well, what could you expect from a kid who chewed on glowsticks regularly? He was probably loaded up on so much E or acid, or some other mind-tripping drug that it was an absolute astonishment that he'd caught anything that was being said. Audrey didn't (openly) judge, however, and simply grinned at the snuggled pair across the table in an almost motherly fashion before answering poor, suffering Ladon's questions in the same vein as before. This was like teaching. This was familiar.
"Actually, I was going to eventually get to that. We're teaming up firstly so that I can teach you things. Secondly, we have a specific target of our own." Pulling a Dungeons and Dragons book from her bag, the teen pretended to leaf through it as if she was speaking about a game that they would soon be joining. She'd never actually played, but it had been a gift from a misunderstanding relative that was now coming in handy. "We...are going after a princess." The smile was razor-sharp. "If you don't remember about Barren Pines, she showed up there when everything fell apart. We're going to fix that little mistake, and eliminate her and her little court while working with another team - Tanzanite's to be exact." Pages flipped again and Audrey started to chew on nachos again thoughtfully.
"The knight isn't our problem, so you should definitely run if you encounter by yourself. She'll kill you if she gets a chance, just like poor Nova." And Tanz, who had lost her arm to save the queen. Audrey wasn't convinced this was a fair exchange yet, but time would probably rectify that. Looking over to her most special lieutenant, Audrey beamed at Dem. "And darling, we've been in medieval times for quite awhile now. Didn't you ever wonder why we don't all have guns?" Honestly!
