Konnichi-wa. Genki desu ka? Watashi wa Bajin-ya desu. Oki, enough Nihongo. Hello, my English name is Virginia, translated to Bajin-ya in Japanese. I prefer GiGi (or Jiji). I am 16 years old, I have been into Gothic Fashion since I was roughly 11, though have just recently started getting into Lolita. I would consider myself a mix of Amaloli, Kurashikku, Kurorori, and Gosuloli in fashion, however, an Amaloli in personality. ^-^ I look at Lolita as being a life style rather than just a fashion. I wear lolita everyday (or at least will as soon as my stuff comes in and as soon as I learn how to make patterns). In public I'm very quiet, polite, and curtious towards others, however, I'm terrified of being in a large crowd by myself. I usually start crying. ^^;; When I get to know someone, I'm more open and bouncy. I'm an open Bisexual, but don't fear, I don't bother straight women or gay men. I'm respectful to other people's lifestyle. I am a student and a model, as well as a "professional moocher" (meaning I give the pouty face and get food, paper, writing utensils, etc. in return). I love meeting new people and I love to cuddle. I will hug people that I've only just met. I currenlty live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and it is truelly terrible. I hope to some day move out of the States and back home (England or Japan). I am a Pocky and Panda Snackies addict. The Hong Kong Market is my snack kingdom. Why, hello there. I'm Jared, known by the handle Scentless Apprentice Yes, I know I made a typo, but I don't want to spend 10,000 digital money for a single letter change....
I fell in love with EGL about two years ago, when I didn't even know it had a name...
My interests range from annoying political activism, animanga, video game collecting, music, philosophy (not so much, anymore...) and artsy stuff, like writing and drawing (both of which I do with the magic of mediocrity).
I live in Chattanooga,Tennessee; which is no place for any kind of alternative culture to grow. There's no limit to the hours I could spend complaining about this place.
To support my eccentrices, I've taken up a job at the local library.

Then again, I'm only sixteen, so it shouldn't come as a surprise. I get payed above minimum wage (slightly), and the people there are as lazy and cynical as I am, even if they're like, forty. So it's okay for the time being.
As far as my personality goes, I'm pretty shy around strangers in real life. Painfully.
I try to be as polite as I can, but I'm not a doormat-most of the time.
I tend to ramble as I talk and type, so I think I should end this thing....

Hello. My name Is Justinne, and I have been into Gothic Lolita for a few years now. I first got into it when my friend went to Japan, and started sending me some Japanese music. I soon started to look at the pictures of these bands, and I ran into Mana, from Malice Mizer heart . Ever since I found out what his fasion was, I have been obsessed, and have been drawing designs that I will one day make.
I live in Canada, British Columbia. My birthday is July 21, 1989, which makes me 15 years old.
A few of my intrests/likes are: Sewing, drawing, guitar, Cats, Japanese (Language, and culture), Makeup, Fashion, Mythology and the list goes on.

Hello everyone. ^_^ I'm Candice.
I'm 16, 5'7", blue eyes, burgundy hair, and I like to wear dark colors. ^^;; I'm a clothing designer, and one day soon I'm opening an online store. (I'll have dolly and gothic lolita clothing, among other things.)
My other hobies include making actual doll clothing, and life-size versions; writing stories, lyrics, and poems; singing; acting; drawing; and cooking.
I was invited by one of the 'mods', and I just confirmed my position as a member today, Feb. 3rd, at 10:13 PM.
My birthday is July 10th, '88. I'm a Cancer.
Today, I designed the cutest corset. ^o^

Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you for inviting me into this guild! I must say that out of the lolita fashion guilds I have seen, this one has the most promise of being active and orderly.
Anyway, in short, I am a half-Filipina who enjoys green tea with clover honey, her stuffed koala, and jrock.
I have been into the lolita fashion for a year now, and have a few lolita-esque fashions that I have worn from time to time, though I will admit that I have nothing terribly breathtaking, because I lack the financial ability to go out and buy the real good stuff. I also do not have enough talent to make my own, though I have been sewing for a year or so, now. I have no preferred division of the lolita fashion, as my tastes in clothes really all depend on mood. When I'm not in any lolita fashion I'm usually dressed as a fruit, or your stereotypical "goth," but I suppose a better name would be "darkling," as quoted from a friend of mine.
I also took up cosplay and have finished 2 of them thus far, jrock cosplays of Toshiya from Dir en grey. On top of the Japanese pop culture fashions, I have been an avid jrock fan for a year as well, and while my favorite band is Dir en grey, I listen to a wide variety of artists: From Malice Mizer/Moi Dix Mois to Kagerou to Kana. One again, it all depends on mood.
As a person in general, I am initially very kind-hearted and generous. I remain generous throughout, but some of my closer friends can tell you that I have a very mischievious streak and can be fond of teasing or spazzing. I apologize ahead of time for anything you may find rude or offensive. Feel free to tell me you disapprove, and I will try to put myself in check.

Hey! My name's Mira, and I just joined. I suck at introductions so I'll stick to the basics... I'm in California and I've been here my whole life. I'm a college student and currently unemployed... but a friend of mine is working on hooking me up with a job at a peircing place in ye local mall (wish me luck?). My birthday is March 23. Interestes... well, the lolita style, obviously.. but also just fashion in general... I love to sew and try to come up with original looks, which I don't think I've achieved yet (I feel like everything has already been done, but maybe i'm just not creative enough. =\). I also like survival horror video games and ghost movies that try to be scary but arent... those are great!! I'm hoping to be a makeup artist some day... Hello, my name is Tawnie.
I'm 16, born on September 9th in 1988. I come from the deepest darkest depths of Washington in the US.
I've been into Japanese street fashion for about 5 years, and more specifically loli style for about 3, although it didn't become an all out obsession until last year.
I'm also obsessed with most things Japanese related. I love the food, music, anime/manga, people, language, etc. It's quite sad how much my life revolves around Japanese culture even though I'm American. sweatdrop
I'm a Junior in high school, and hopefully when I graduate from this hell hole of a school I will be able to move to Seattle and attend the art school known as Cornish.
I spend most of my free time drawing, web designing and playing guitar.
I'm in a band called Tripp Ninja. Right now we're just kind of a cover band of J-rock stuff. We love playing songs by DOREMIdan, Inugami circus-dan, and other such bands. I sing, play guitar, and also play pretty much every other instrument that's needed at the time with the exception of classical piano...I don't know why, but I just don't enjoy playing that.
I'm in second year Japanese, so I spend a lot of time translating lyrics too.
My favorite magazines are Shoxx and the like, Gothic Lolita Bible, and Maison.
My favorite anime are Yuugiou, Naruto, CLAMP's works and Yoshitoshi Abe's works.
My favorite manga include Yuugiou, Naruto, Doll, CLAMP's works, X-day and many more.
I'm a Yuugiou/Naruto whore in case you didn't notice.
My ideas for jobs include manga artist, web designer and musician.
I'm too nice for my own good in real life, to the point of being a push-over. And I'm normally very shy/quite, so that's why I'm talkative online. xd

Hopefully I'll be a great addition to this guild. Although I'm in about 10-11 guilds right now...so I can't post rediculously often. Sometimes once a day, sometimes once a week. It depends.

Hi! My name is Rose. I am twenty years old and live in Tampa, Florida, with my darling boyfriend. He's going to college at the Art Institute down here, while I'm kind of lost and confused somewhere between painting in Photoshop and curiousity of 3d digital mediums.
Anyway, I was born September 10th 1984, and as my father was in the military I got moved around quite a bit. Born in New York, three years old move to England, seven years old move to New Mexico, 11 to Virginia. Parents divorce, move all over Virginia. Custody battles over younger sister, and boyfriend/move. ^^
I was homeschooled through highschool, more self-taught if you ask me, but because of my parents bickering I didn't have my schoolwork for a prolonged period of time, and therefore I simply got my GED to be done with it. Maybe I'll go to college, although I enjoy and learn more teaching myself. Except for things like sewing, and cooking, I could use some refinement there. wink
Anyway, I've always been unimpressed by modern fashion, it's such a materialistic age, and yet look at what we are forced to wear (mainly in the US) because people get so a**l about your clothes. Then I found pictures online from the Gothic & Lolita magazine, and anime like Chobits, and I dreamed of wearing beautiful garments like that. I loved them for a year before I discovered they were obtainable. Despite my crap job at Target while I lived with my dad I managed to save up and buy a few adorable outfits. Although, I never managed to buy a Ball Joined Doll, which I greatly long for. Hopefully this year my Tax Return will allow me one.
I have always put a bubble around myself and created my own beautiful world, despite the ugliness and conflict that may have surrounded me. Some people find it childish, but I think it is something a strong person does, to achieve a better environment to blossom. As I've said before, this positive energy increases so much when I capture what I desire and flaunt it, as my Gothic & Lolita clothes allow me. I wish the whole world would dress itself in beauty, rather than collect a wardrobe based on efficiency and brand name.
Anyway I'm not always so serious, usually I'm obnoxious and silly.
I love visiting gardens. Soon I will go to a local EGL teaparty, for Florida lolipops. I am looking forward to it very much so, I think I'll wear my pink/white wa-loli outfit as it is a Valentines theme.

Hey all. I'm Alisha... or em, bumblebee. I'm kinda hoping to change my username soon, just to let you know.
I'm from a tiny town in northeast Pa, know as Towanda. It's small enough to not be heard of, yet large enough to be found on a map. Most people out hear don't even know about such things as the gothic lolita fashion and lifestyle.
My current occupation is a highschool student. I'm sixteen years old (my birthday is 09/15/88 ) and in tenth grade. I hope to go to college for music or astronomy, but have still not completely decided.
My interests include the studying of the Japanese language (both in and out of school), reading and writing, and sticking my nose around the internet...
Which is how I first found out about Gothic Lolita. I'm a fairly new convert, only having know of it for several months, but I love it just the same. I'm flat broke so I don't wear anything that could even be considered original Gothic Lolita but I do enjoy putting mock-pieces together. However, being out here in the middle of nowhere, there isn't much to work with.
Hopefully, I'll be going to Japan before I get out of highschool. Maybe then, I could pick up some authentic pieces to add to my wardrobe.
I love Japanese everything... and hope to learn alot being a member to this guild.

Hey, I'm Helga the Strong. In real life though, I'm known as Tara (or helga the strong, depends who you ask). Ive been dressing what I call my own style - its like a mix between standard punk teen fashion, gothic, hippie, and the frilly fancy stuff. I had never heard of Gothic Lolita until I found the thread in GD and boy, I am so inspired to start creating my own stuff now smile I own a few gothic lolita things but I want to go shopping and buy tons more now razz
I'm from Sydney, Australia, where the sun is always shining and theres never any rain because of the drought. I'm in year 11 at school, I turned 16 on the 23rd of December, and I work part time at Red Rooster.
I love Jesus, I'm a strong follower of him. I also love my friends n family, and my music. Favorite bands are System of a Down, Linkin Park and funeral for a friend. I also like Evanescence, Nightwish, Tristania, Bodyjar, Sunshine Winnabago, Lost Prophets. I like heavy metal, punk, nu metal, and I love my hard trance (hard NRG cds r kool)
I also love talking, makin friends and other corny happy stuff like that. I like to think im innocent, and i'm easily amused by things (like casset players and pieces of string.) ^.^
