"Well... then we shall set to it. My blood should know the limits of my power then I suppose..." He said with a little bit a of a guilty twinge to his voice as he snapped and the two guards from outside approached, "Twenty five years ago this land was ruled by a terrible warlord who caused the death of hundreds of his own people to slate his unpleasant desires. At that time I was wandering, unaffiliated with a village after the Immortals had left this world. I came across one of this warlord's men trying to force himself on a young woman- not much older than you. He'd killed her family not to far off and seeing this I intervened on her behalf. After she related the atrocities being perpetrated I was quickly pulled into a small rebellion that resulted in his death. The men- no creatures he commanded where not fit to rule a pile of carrion- let alone a group of innocent people with a rich cultural history... so I killed them." He explained, his blood seeming to boil a little bit as he spoke about the nightmare the warlord had imposed upon the people,
"The guards you see before you where killed more than twenty years ago..." He explained and formed a quick handseal. The guard's body suddenly went slack- landing in a heap upon the ground, a small fine layer of dust trailing from their armor.
"Over the years I came to control the power over the dead. I have the power to temporary reanimate them and powers far greater. However- the purpose of these techniques is not for my own personal gain, and they have set me on the wrong side with more than a few people in my life. However, I believe that life is to precious to let end in death sometimes... like a flower snipped from it's stem... I believe that preserving it in a glass vase is appropriate for a time."

"Well... if you are willing to learn it- I'm afraid the process of studying it is not a pretty one. However- I understand that you already had quite the understanding of medical ninjutsu. I started out along the same vein when I was younger. The principles are very similar. The essence you feel, the pulse of life that all things have, is the key to learning this technique." He started as he slowly rose to his feet. He was a usually tall man maybe 6'3 or 6'4 and he was gaunt and drawn out. He motioned towards a small pile of scrolls organized on a shelf on the wall.
"Within those are the secrets of the Fushi Tensei technique. If you master that in all of it's complexity, you will be on your way to mastering the art of preservation."
((Note: This is an S-RANK technique! As a result it will take SIX THOUSAND words to learn. However, since you DO have a teacher- any word count he does can be added towards your total amount. she stared at the scrolls and ran over to them. she gently picked one up reading the cover amazed at it. "Wow... this looks like its going to be a challenge..." she smiled wide

She kept re-thinking over what he had just said trying to get what he was saying. " Yeah i think i do.... i think? So like.... when a body loses its soul its nearly impossible to get back but with special techniques it can be brought back into the body? But the techniques are hard to learn... so it could take a lot of time and effort for me to get them right.... correct? she said still sounding a bit confused.

"Of course my dear... techniques like this can take a lifetime for some... but I believe you are beyond capable. It's only a matter of time and effort. It is a rather grizzly matter, but I store the remainder of the corpses in the back of this estate in case of an emergency where the people of this land might need defenders... if they couldn't serve them in life- perhaps they could earn some redemption for their unspeakable acts in death. Since they are currently animated by my technique- perhaps it would be good practice for you to experiment on them. Once you figure out how to REMOVE their soul- you should be able to master it a good deal easier..."
Her father beckoned to a door at one of the fall walls. She probably hadn't noticed it before. It was all but obscured by an ornate shelf, but not that it's came into view a small pad-lock on the door could be seen. Moving with almost unnatural grace her father seemed to "float" across the ground due to his robe obscuring his feet.

"How are you able to keep them up and walking and able to continue making them animated? isnt it supposed to take a whole ton of chakara? Are you really that good to keep letting them up?... 'why wouldnt he just use puppet strings? Or chakara strings to control the bodies instead of just using so much chakara on one thing over and over....' she continued to think about everything else he could have used as not to use sos much chakara of his own. "And your going to help me right? Im not going to have to figure out how to remove a soul on my own am i? I wont have to hurt anything or anyone to remove it will i?!?! she started to panic a little her necklace flashing madly again while she went over and over what he said.

"It's a strain only to animate them for me... however the chakra I instill in them is generally enough to keep them running for a while. Conciser it a... jump start. All their biological processes are able to generate chakra actually. So long as they don't use any actual techniques it's quite easy to keep them supplied. Maybe one a week or so I will find a few no longer animated if I am lax in my observations my dear..." He said rather meekly as he opened the door. A perfect 50x50 row of samurai where standing stark still at attention. They where breathing, but in PERFECT unison. You could almost feel the room inhale and exhale as they did so. Their eyes where closed and they seemed to be asleep... until they entered. As they did- EVERY eye in the room flashed open at the EXACT same time.
"They are perfectly tame. They have no will besides mine my dear and I assure you that I have no intention of harming my own daughter... please... pick any you like and we will begin."

She flinched back a bit creeped out at the bodies all doing the same thing at one time. "uherm..... you choose one.... i dont really mind which one it is. I mean its not like im going to choose my favorite looking dead person to reanimate if i learn the technique correctly." she stared almost in disgust at all the bodies in one room. But it wasnt just disgust... its was partially fear against so many people.. people much larger than her and even tho they arnt going to hurt her she knew they could if her "father" wanted them to, and she wouldnt be able to hold off a couple thousand people on her own... she probably couldnt hold off a couple hundred at this point but she took a deep breath and decided she would and could do this and learn the technique correctly to use it when she needed it.
"Well.... actually... i guess ill choose the one in the front right there." she pointed at one unsure of who he was or who he is.

"Good choice dear... he was one of the warlord's most trusted advisers. He is very strong- a high concentration of chakra in his body. I recall he was a particularly difficult soldier to fell." He explained as the soldier walked over to low table.
"Now, unfortunately the best way to understand the soul is to understand the body. It is the "house" the soul resides in. I want you to open him up and examine what his soul changed in his body. Look for excessive uses of certain organs. I want you to tell me what kind of person his soul was. For example..." He said as he carefully opened his chest with a scalpel. His motions where flawless and his technique perfect- not even a slash of blood flickered up from the body. She might have seen skill like this in the most advanced medical ninja she'd learned from- but even then it was rare,
"His liver is discolored and damaged... as you can see here." He explained pointing out the damage on the liver, "This probably means he was an alcoholic- the damage caused to his liver was caused by excessive amounts of alcohol passing threw it. From this we can draw the conclusion that his soul was one that didn't like or didn't know many restrictions. By examining each of his organs in turn we can paint a picture of what kind of person he was... now you try."

"Oh... kay?" she looked over and stepped straight to the body. "uhm... dark lungs means.... smoker... which means..... he..... uh...." she started to get confused from thinking so hard about the one simple thing trying to figure out which words she would use to explain it. "he... didnt care about health.... which could mean... inconsiderate or.... maybe he was lonely...." she held her head with one hand.
