Lilly sat silently on the other side of the coffee table, unable to believe what she was hearing. But when he basicaly called her weak...she got to her knees and glared him down "I just survived a fatal fire," she said slowly. "A fire on a military biochemistry lab which was started by Wicked Woman herself. I just saved you from the damn bosses for god sake. And I'm just supposed to hide here instead of do something useful? I mean if it weren't for me your life would be out like that," she snapped her fingers, trying to find the words to continue her argument, only finding herself distracted by the green vines seeping from her fingers.
Lilly watched as the plantlife trickled down to the ground and bedded in the carpet. "What the...hell?"
"Hey guys...I just ordered Pizza..." Marcus walked in from the kitchen, only to stop in confusion as he watched the vine grow from her hand through out the floor. "s**t Lilly what the hell are you doing!?"
"I don't know!" she replied. "But I like it." She slapped her arm to get the plantlife off, only to have it retract from the floor back to her fingers. "That was cool..."
"Great so now you're poisonous and you can control plants?" Marcus sighed. "You're in wicked trouble Lilly."

suddenly a silver ring began quivering on Cracker Jack's finger. "They're coming..." Cracker Jack said, moving to a window and looking out through the shades. "s**t, the martian must have located us somehow." Jack stood up, instantly regretting the action. He was still sore from Speed's assult. Jack moved to the door, making sure it was locked. "I hope you don't like anything in this apartment." Jack said, looking at Marcus. "you guys might want to run... These guys won't pull any punches now that they know I didn't give them the real virus." Cracker Jack was suddenly worried. He wasn't scared for his own safety, but for the safety of his new allies... "We have to find away to get to the Hideaway." And thats when Monster man ripped through the brick wall like paper.
"OH YEA!!!" He said laughing histarically.

Now, before Lilly could continue her argument on joining the rebelion, Cracker Jack had quickly stood and moved toward the window. "Careful! You're not fully healed yet!" she stated as she stood to follow, only his news shocked her in place.
"What?" she turned to Marcus, "How the hell did they know he was here?" Marcus shrugged and darted for his room. "What are you doing?"
"Packing," Marcus called in responce.
"You guys might want to run..." Cracker Jack started, Lilly nodded, not really listening to what he was saying, she ran to the guest room and grabbed the bag that had all that she owned and pulled her jacket over her shoulders. When she returned to the living room, Jack was still speaking, "We have to find a way to get to the Hideaway."
Unfortunatly, before she could reply, a loud thundering crash came from the main wall of the living room. Lilly screamed as parts of the wall fell before her, the force knocking her onto the couch. When she opened her eyes, there stood Monster man as he stood towering over her. "OH YEA!!"
"s**t!" Lilly climbed over the couch and stood as far from Monsterman as she could. "Hey," she called to Cracker Jack, "Time to run!"
"Come on!" Marcus was already at the door holding it open, "Lets go!"

Cracker Jack smiled. "Your getting cocky you stupid d**k."
Monster Man's smile dissapeared from his face. "I don't need anyone else to defeat you freak." He retorted, his face a little red. Jack smiled, infuriating MonsterMan even more. "Whats so funny turd?" Suddenly another thing smashed through the wall, smashing MonsterMan, and dislocating his jaw. Cracker Jack looked at lilly. "We need to run now.. My good freind will distract him for as long as he can."
Jack grabbed lillys hand and hoisted her off the couch, motioning for her and Marcus to follow. He slipped out a back door and made his way down an alley. he looked both ways then ran west. "I have a car stashed a block away." he mumbled.
Back in the ruined apartment, MonsterMan was regaining his conciousness. He looked around the apartment, debris cloud impairing his vision. He switched to his x ray vision just intime to see something fly out of the debris at speeds matching a bullet.
His smile was bent, and his eyes were sunk into his skull but Bizzaro was the kindest soul in all the world. "Did I hurt mean man?" Bizzaro asked his eyes swelling up with tears. "Me not mean to hit so hard." MonsterMan stood up angrily.
"I am gonna kill your Retarded a**!"

Everything went by way to fast until Lilly found herself being dragged by Cracker Jack. Marcus huffed after, trying to keep up and hear the conversation. "You have a car?" she asked, regretting the question afterward. Just because he was in the rebelion doesn't mean he didn't have a car. She then realized he was holding her hand, thankful that she was wearing the gloves, she wasn't sure how poisonous she was, and she sure as hell wasn't going to test it on the leader of the rebels.
"Who was that?" she asked finally, "I couldn't even see him!"
"Who? What was that!" Marcus corrected as he came up behind. "Now where are we going?"

"He is one of the only people I know who can go head to head with monster man, but wouldn't hurt a fly on purpose." Cracker Jack looked back. "His name is Bizzaro and He was the failed attempt to create another Monster Man by the injustice league.”
Cracker Jack sighed and looked back again worriedly. “I stopped them from making a perfect clone, but Bizzaro was spared that day because I just couldn’t kill him.”
Cracker Jack stopped short, pushing a button on his belt. A nearby dumpster slid sideways revealing a dark entrance. A red and white car pulled out of the dark slowly, its green lights flashing in response to its owner’s presence. “This is my car.” Jack said, the doors sliding up vertically like the Delorian. Jack hopped into the driver’s seat and waited for the other 2 to get in. “Buckle up and hold on tight, this might be a bumpy ride…” He said, putting the petal to the metal and skidding the wheels loudly. He couldn’t help but let out a laugh of joy.
Bizzaro was punched in the stomach, the impact sending him through a wall. “OWE!!!” Bizzaro said, tears welling up in his eyes, and rubbing his head. “Why mean man hurt Bizzaro’s stomach?” Monster Man laughed at the crying freak. “Your pathetic.” Monster Man said and punched him again in the groin. Bizzaro let out a guttural moan and fell to his knees, thinking to himself: I hope laughing man got away…

"Bizzaro? Such a strange name..." Lilly uttered as she was being dragged along, until suddenly he stopped, Marcus had to lean on his heals to prevent from smacking into them.
"What?"
"This is my car," Lilly looked up to see a stunning red and white car. Damn, she thought, for a rebelion leader he did have a very nice car. She had to repress laughs when the cars doors opened like a Delorian's. Cracker Jack let her and go, leading her toward the car and hopping into the driverseat. "Buckle up and hold on tight," He didn't have to tell her twice. Lilly jumped in, put her bag at her feet and buckled up.
"Crazy man where the hell are we going!" Marcus called as he closed the doors and got in. "I'd like to know!"
((hehe my favorite car is the delorian...and the t bird. lol thats epic ^_^))

Cracker Jack glanced back suspiciously... "You'll find out when we get there." Wreckage, buildings, and stone flashed by outside, the ocasional tree every now and again. Quickly the carr sped toward a giant dome like thing. It was an old baseball stadium, back when the Injustice league still let people watch baseball... The Car sped past where the ticket booths usually were and down into a dark cave that probably once was the undground locker rooms for the players... the car skidded to a stop in a dark room, the only light was red dim lights lining the walls. An entrance was in the smile of a giant laughing theater mask, Jack motioned for the 2 to follow as he walked towards it.
"Welcome to Chrysippus's Cavern. Or the Cavern for short."

When Jack stopped the car, Lilly had never been more relieved. She unbuckled and jumped out of the car. "You...are a crazy driver," she huffed as she leaned on the car to regain her balance. "God next time I drive," she jested, or atleast attempted, she was to flustered to say anything correctly. Marcus wobbled out of the car and stumbled a little before he regained his balance.
"You ok marcus?"
"Ask me in a little while and I'll answer then," he replied, sending a soft smile to her lips. She shook her head, pulled her bag on her shoulder and looked around, it was quite dark, only the red lights on the wall helped her see at all, she was spared asking another question when Cracker Jack explained where they were.
"Why Chrysippus?" she'd never heard of the term, and it sounded fantastic. And honestly if she didn't ask she would be all giddy about being in a secret cavern. In the darkness as Lilly and Marcus followed Cracker Jack down the cave, the sound of a small trinket hitting the ground filled the air. It seemed to come from behind her, "Marcus did you drop something?"
"Not that I know of..." he said, she saw him look around, "I had my hands in my pockets...must have been some change..." he sighed. "To dark to tell."
"Well," Lilly sighed, "Alright.." then she turned to Jack, she watched him walk ahead of them, and she couldn't help but wonder how he came to be...well what was the word she was looking for? It wasn't strange, it wasn't ecsentric...Different just didn't fit the bill either. No matter what the word was, he wasn't your average man, and wasn't your averaged masked crusader. She would have asked but she was to shy to, she'd asked enough questions of the man already, and from the stature of his shoulders he seemed deep in thought atleast. So in silence she followed him.

Cracker Jack turned around and suddenly round house kicked Marcus with extreme force, launcing him into a wall. "Your friend is informing on us." Cracker Jack stated bluntly walking backwards and picking up the dropped tracker beakin. Marcus rubbed his head, which had smashed against the cold cement of the tunnel.
He jumped at Marcus, pinning up against the wall with a poisoned tip blade at his throat. "Tell me who you were informing for.. or you will regret it."
Jack was a master of intimidation and interagation.
"So... Buddy... do you want to know who Chrysippus was?" Jack said, holding the knife up to Marcus's mouth. Marcus was sweating bullets, and was too frightened to answer. "He was a greek stoic philosopher who lived around 220 B.C." Jack moved the knife up to Marcus's mouth. "Guess how he died?" Jack pushed the blade up toward the corner of his mouth, a drop of blood rolled down the blade of the knife. "He died by laughing too much..."
"WICKED WOMEN!!!" Marcus blurted out. Tears welling up in his eyes... "She made me do it!!!, she threatened my family." Jack smurked, then pulled out his sword. Marcus melted like a scared little girl... "Please!!! I'm begging you!!" Faster than a blink of an eye Jack smashed Marcus in the face with the pummel. "What do we do with your little freind?"

Lilly screamed as Jack pushed past her and attacked Marcus. Marcus fell back toward the concrete and before he could recover Jack had pinned him to the wall with a knife at his throat. "Leave him alone! What had he done to you?!"
"Your friend is informing on us," he answered, he didn't even look at her. She then saw the tracker in his hand " Tell me who you were informing for...or you will regret it."
"Marcus..." Lilly stood back and watched the interagation, it wasn't like she could do anything, the one thing she wanted to do was pull Cracker Jack off of Marcus...but that wasn't the right thing to do now was it? She had backed herself against the other side of the cave and had slid down to the floor. Marcus? How could he do that to her? He was her closest friend, they even used to be lovers...why betray her so harshly?
"Wicked Woman!" Marcus cried, "She made me do it!" his cries were making her sick.
"Marcus? Wicked woman?" Lilly's voice was no longer confused, it was hurt, crisp and angry. "God damn it Marcus! You ******** Judas!" She found the strength to stand until she was standing before him.
"She threatened my family!"
"I was part of that family you a**!" she cried. Cracker jack withdrew his knife, and Lilly watched as Marcus melted to the floor. "Please!!! I'm begging you!!" And to her gratefullness, Jack knocked him out.
"What do we do with your little friend?"
"He's not my friend any more," she stated cooly. First thing that came tomind was killing him, holding him at the jugular with her poisonous fingers would work, lord knew how strong the poison was in her kiss...but she wanted nothing to do with him. She held her hand up over his collapsed body and willed the vines to escape her fingers.
The seedlings took root around him, circling him, tieing him, one thick and poisonous root crept around his mouth to silence him, and when she feld he was tightly bound, she turned to Cracker Jack. "What do you wanna do with him? We could toss him outside...its not like its safe to simply bring him in, he could have multiple trackers on his person." She bent to pick up her bag. "Do what youwill, I don't care any more,"

For the first time this woman surprised Jack. What were these vines that came from her fingers? How the heck did she tie up a grown man just by looking at him. Cracker Jack wasn't sure what to say.
"How did you do that?" He asked, a knife was hidden in his hand as he said it. He wasn't sure what this woman was, but he sure as hell was getting caught off guard. Not that he though she was an enemy... but better safe than sorry. He had seen men killed for a lot less than that.

Lilly rearranged the bag on her shoulder. "Some genetic thing," she replied. "I used to work in a Military biolab...after the fire I guess I picked up some genetic mutations from the plants i worked with," she wasn't so impressed with it any more, it was getting her strange looks from Cracker Jack, how was that even possible. He'd seen far worse right? Honestly, she thought Bizzaro was worthy of that title...not her. "I'd rather not talk about it," she sighed. "So what do we do with him?"

Cracker Jack nodded his head... At this point he had seen some strange stuff... but this was a first. He sighed, and decided to play along.
"We leave him... I'll dispose of him later." He said with an air of maliciousness. He continued down the tunnel, motioning for her to follow. After a couple of minutes of walking they came to a flight of spiral stairs. They went straight down, red light showing the walls that were covered with graffiti laughter... haAHahahAHAAHahAAHaHaHAaHaHAAHaHAAHaHAaHaAHaHAahahAAHaHaAHaHaAHaHAaHAhAaHaHAhAHAaHaHAhAhaahaHAHAaHaHa! Jack shrugged at lilly. "I was having a bad day." He started down the stairs, his cape billowing behind him as a cold breeze came from the inner most part of the cavern. Cracker Jack sighed again, "Victor is up to another one of his experiments."

Thankful he wasn't going to as any more questions, she nodded and followed. "That vine in his mouth, if he tries to bite through it he'd poison himself," she paused. "Hopefully he isn't too upset i tied him up."
She nodded, following him, trying to make things make sense in her head. Marcus was in league with Wicked Woman the whole time? And he still took her in? Was he the spy that told the bosses that she and Cracker Jack were at his place? He wasn't being kind and letting her stay, he was keeping her in a golden cage with neon signs saying 'SHES HERE!' She was such a fool to trust him.
Jack's voice pulled her out of her silent state, "What?" it wasn't until she looked up that she noticed the graffiti all over the walls, she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "I won't ask what made it so bad..." she sighed.
"Victor is up to another one of hi experiments."
"Victor? Who's that?" she asked holding her arms from the chill breeze, walking far enough behind not to get hit by Jack's cape. "Experiments? Should I be worried?"
