Kuyoja looked to Valens after a moment of his apology, perhaps in Saedah's case running away may of been a better idea, the girl groaned below them her eyes flickering open as she seemed very confused.
She..was in the gym...when did she get there? HOW did she get there was the more disturbing part. Her tongue flickered out of her tongue...her father was there...she relaxed visibly and then tensed again..that other scent was there.
Her body began to quiver again.
"Saedah...count back to ten. We all will count with you okay? " Kuyoja told her sternly nodding to Valens to get him to help her. If she got use to his voice at least...that would help.

Valens's ears gave a twitch when the teacher looked at him in that manner and then laid back in an uncertain manner. He had upset his teacher hadn't he? He really hadn't meant to do that, he had always done so well in doing as the man wanted, to obey in class, to keep up his practice, to take good care of the weapon that was provided to him... He felt as though he had messed all of that up by startling his daughter which made his stomach feel as though it had dropped. He gave a sort of not as though to agree that he would in fact help with the counting if it were what was required of him. Maybe he would be able to get back on the better side of his teacher since being on rocky ground with him was the last thing that the horse teen wanted.

So they counted backwards from the number ten, and the poor snake girls rapidly beating heart finally slowed down. She took a deep breath once done and then sitting up and to hug her father as she noticed Valens was still there. She wasn't terrified like she had been before...but she was still nervous and flighty.
Kuyoja patted her head and allowed the hug for only a couple of seconds before forcing her to let go.
"Saedah this is Valens..a student of mine." He introduced gesturing to Valens.
The girls face when red with embaressement as she bowed deeply to him. How embaressing ...she had fainted because of her fathers student.
"S...soory to .w..woory you.."

Valens's ears turned forward toward the girl, flickered a bit, then laid back in once more, "I am sorry that I scared you so much... it wasn't my intention..." He told her, eyes lifting up at her in a sort of hopeful manner, to the side, and back again. He looked a bit like a dog that knew it had done something wrong and was trying to get back in good with the one it had offended.
"I hope I can make it up to you." He told her then looked over his shoulder and back once more, "I... sort of messed up the things you were holding to... I'm sorry."

The small girl was still nervous, still wanted to run, but couldn't. Not with her dad there. His presence helped to keep her steady, at least calm enough to give Valens a look over. His ears.
SHe focused on those instantly. They were cute. Ignore the sharp hooves...focus on the cute ears.
"O..oooh..ooh! Ye..es..t..the g...g....gi." She remembered looking at the mess of the once clean and neatly folded uniforms on the floor, her body wilting a bit as she had put in a lot of work in cleaning and folding them.
Her father looked at the mess of clothes and he went to gather them together.
"Do not worry about them, I will get them cleaned. Saedah would you mind getting Valens help in setting up the gym for my class?" He asked deliberately making it so they would have to work together as well alone.

When he saw how sad she looked and the way that she seemed to wilt a bit Valens only felt that much more guilty, something that made him shifted in place, ears laying back, "S-Sorry..." He felt so bad for hurting her feelings in such a manner, he hadn't meant to break her or get all of the clothing dirty, that was never his intention. That it had happened made him want to make it up to her.
He didn't have the chance though as he was put to work setting up a class with the help of the little horse girl, that was something he could do he thought to himself as he pushed up onto his hooves, stretching out all over before he offered her a hand to help the girl up. It seemed really, really weird to him that he was offering a hand to a snake of all things have a rather innate fear of snakes that had only been made worse by Terpsichore's presence. He tried to tell himself though that this snake was far, far nicer then that other one was.
"Come on, lets go get our assignment done." He said, that his teacher had told him to do something made it into just that.

She shifted looking nervous that she was being left alone with him. But she couldn't disappoint her father, already the gi had been wrecked and she didn't want him to have to start his class late because of her.
Sliding forward she gave a small gesture for Valens to follow her.
"....okay v..Val..lll..e....ens." she managed to get out in a whisper as she pointed to the large stock room door.
"w..we..n..need t..the s..stuuff...th..te ma..atts ..." she was having such a hard time trying to talk straight...and it was frustrating. In no way did she blame the horse boy for the ruined gi, if she wasn't so scared of everything a normal person wouldn't of reacted the way she had.

It was a bit of a task, to get the classroom set up, but soon enough the two of them were able to get things into order in the manner that the teacher wanted for them to do. It was good exercise on his part, he was good at carrying around heavy things, setting things up as Saedah told him to do. Valens wasn't a bright guy but he was useful and he took orders pretty well from the looks of the room.
He looked around then back to Saedah, giving her a toothy grin, "All done." He said in a happy manner, hands clapping together before he turned to check the clock on the wall, "I have a class to get to soon but I want to be able to help with the cleaning of those cloths afterward, is that alright?" He asked, turning to the pink haired snake girl. It was likely that she was one of few that snakes that he could deal with and actually wish to come back to see her again. She was more something that he wanted to deal with then someone like Zyanya's boyfriend.
"Please let me, I feel bad for what I did."

Saedah looked to him a bit surprised, though they had cleaned up and set up the classroom in record time (she'd never of been able to do it without his help). Having that she was already finished her work for her father she looked to him again after glancing around the room.
"Ah..yo..ou don..don't need to...re..really it won't take me long.." She protested a faint blush creeping across her face, she waved her hands in front of her as if this would deter him from trying to help more.
She ...wilted in her resolve though when he asked so nicely and sincerely. "Ah...okay...I'll..meet you here when..your done?" She inquired softly looking a bit embarrassed.

Valens clapped his hands together in a happy manner, "Awesome! Alright, its a deal then. I will be back after my class and we can get them all cleaned up!" He said, tail swishing. He was eager to be able to help to make up for what he'd done, not to mention that talking with her was helping him with getting used to being around snakes at least to a point. He was sure that were he to run across Ter he would still have the same sort of reaction to that particular guy... the reaction being that ingrained desire to want to stomp on the guy before running like Hell...
He pushed that feeling aside before he gave a smile, "I will be back soon Saedah!" He said, giving her a smile before he turned on his hoof and headed off, on his way to class, hoping not to get himself lost like he did... well... almost every time.

Saedah only gave him a unsure smile and waved him goodbye. After all what could she say? She would probably have the clothes all cleaned before he got back from his class since she felt it was her duty to perform. But she wouldn't tell him that...and after he left she gathered the clothes up and headed for the wash bin that was in another room.
