Coryth perked up brightly at the talk of his friend. "You'll have to tell me where to find this person!" she insisted. Someone who would make her a carrying pouch, and who would also want to have a living-stone, and maybe listen to her explain about them? A win-win scenario to be sure! Her mind raced at the possibilities. Just how big could a carrying pouch be, anyway? Some of the stones could get awfully big.
She investigated his pouch with much sniffing, curious about its design. She'd always admired those who had the nimbleness to make such things. She had her own dexterity, but it was of a different kind. And years of heavy digging had left her paws too calloused and sandpapery to work with things like knots. But she snapped up the cord eagerly, and gritted "Fenk hoo!" through her teeth. She would make something useful of it if it took a month, so help her!
At his suggestion, she laughed. "Jhwe vwho..." She paused to put the cord back down. "We wouldn't be able to move these stones, even between the two of us I don't think. You'll understand when we get there."
She stared out at the path they'd have to take, and peeked at him bashfully out of the corner of her eye. "You'd really be interested in seeing them? I mean, even if we'd have to be sneaky about it, and might have to run? The locals weren't too happy to see me last time."

“I will be sure to do so!” He beamed, excited to have her meet Tuvic. He had been a long time friend of Tandu’s always making gifts and things for him. Never did that guy leave him hanging; it was just hard to find him at times. “Though, you might find him someday. He is a very bright green. Almost hurts the eyes.” Watching her snatch up the cord he laughed. “You are welcome. Need help fastening it?” He eyed the leather cord, lightly. He was very good at tying things together. It was one of his gifts that he inherited from his father who used to make pouches of his own. It didn’t have to be now either, no, he could do it later. After they seen the bones.
“Really? Is it really that big?” His mind rolling over the thought of bones bigger than both of them. An elephants were rather large, but the way she spoke, could they be larger than that?! His mind whirled. Were they monsters… like in his mothers tales. Following her gaze with his own he looked over the dusty terrain. An adventure awaited them both, and even if the wind blew he would not desert her. This seemed far too interested to pass up. Looking at her again he nodded. “I don’t mind. Surely they won’t notice us if we only stay for a little bit.”

"No, I can do it," she declared about the cord. And she would, or at least would probably try for a couple hours before giving up and asking him for help. "They're a bit big, but that's not the problem with moving them. They're also rather fragile, especially the smallest of them. And they're stuck into the side of a cliff face. If we dug them out, they might fall and break, or fall on us and break us!"
She leaned in close and flashed a toothy, mischievous smile at him. "They're not the biggest I've ever seen, though. There's this one place, where the bones of a creature are so big, an elephant herd could walk through the rib cage." Her voice had dropped low like she was talking about a past lover. And it was a fair comparison; she'd spent weeks in that canyon, enraptured by the things she saw. That was about as passionate as she got about anything, really. "But that's an extremely long way aways. That was years ago, and I've come so far since then."
Sighing wistfully, she shook herself and pulled upright. "Well! C'mon then, we best get a move on before we lose the light. And on the way you can tell me all about yourself!"
