"thank you" she said wagging her tail. "would you like to go for a walk along the beach or a swim in the water?" she asked still wagging her tail.

"Sure, lets take a walk on the beach and maybe swim once it gets to hot to walk on the sand"

"ok then lets go" she said with a smile and started down the beach wagging her tail with a big smile on her face she was so happy to have a friend especially her own age.

"Alright, lets go" Aurora walked along glancing at the ground. She stopped suddenly when she spotted something moving in the water among the seaweed that had been brought in during a recent tide.

"There is something moving among the seaweed!"Aurora moved in closer and gently moved away some of the seaweed to expose what was hiding there.
"Oh my god how cute!"

"what is it" she asked as she came back to where her friend stood looking at something she had not seen yet

Aurora moved aside so her friend could move in and see.
"Do you see it? It is a baby turtle!"
"It is so cute!!"
Her tail swished quickly with excitement.

" awe it is very cute. " she said wagging her tail too then a thought struck her "can we eat it" she was joking but she felt like teasing her new friend a little

"Yeah it is..."Aurora grinned back.
"What?! Of course not!...."Aurora exclaimed with a look of horror on her face,was upset at the idea that her friend would want to hurt the turtle until she saw her expression and realized that she was just kidding.
Aurora began laughing very hard at easy it was for her to be tricked and teased.

"hey you never know it might taste good." she said laughing "No i would never eat one they are too cute and too hard to get out of that shell. what should we do with it?"

"True..it could taste like chicken!" Aurora suggested with a wink. "They are definitely too cute. We should try and find its parents and take it home so it will be safe."

"ok lets do it" she said smiling and picking it up "ick it tastes like salt water " she said through a mouth full of turtle

"Okay! Well what did you expect? It is in salt water." Aurora began looking on the ground for evidence of other turtle's family or home. "Do you see anything?"
