Andy smiled softly as he looked at the pictures. He didn't know Mat had recorded this stuff, but he remembered it, and it was nice. "Um..." The shorter man said, looking up at Mat. "I don't know, where do you think they should go? I'm not good at this decorating thing..."

[Random Event: 1]

Andy shuffled along the corridor, a large box in his hands. The box was filled with household supplies: plates, bowls, cups, and silverwear. Andy's job was to make sure the apartment was stocked with the essentials, and he meant to do his job well.

The short man set down his box, pulling out his keys. As he rose to unlock the apartment door, he noticed the note from Catherine. He pulled the small paper off of the wood and brought it closer to him so he could read it. "...stolen?" He mumbled to himself, his eyes widening a little. This couldn't be true! ...could it?

Quickly, Andy made his way into the apartment, heading straight for Eyota's room. Before he got there, however, he stopped, letting himself calm down. Panic couldn't drive his actions, and Eyota was not just his child; she was Mat's, too. The two of them needed to talk about this issue, and decide how to present it to Eyota, and what to do about it all. Settling down on the couch, Andy put his head in his hands, sighing softly.

Random Event: 2]

After a while Andy got up, pacing back in forth in front of the couch. He just knew Eyota couldn't be stealing things. It's not like Mat and he didn't provide for her, right? They gave her everything she wanted, everything she asked for, and more! Why would she ever have reason to steal?

Sighing softly, the shorter man shuffled wearily into the kitchen, putting some water to boil in his new kettle. Some tea would calm him down, and let him think rationally until he could talk to Mat about things. He wasn't about to confront this issue alone; sure, he was one of Eyota's dads, and that meant that he could take things into his hands whenever he wanted, but this was a big issue, and frankly, he needed his love's help.

Andy slumped down into one of the chairs at the kitchen table, putting his head in his hands again. Today just wasn't his day.

Mat walked in the door rolling his head back quietly it had been a long day and he was happy to be home to be able to be with Eyota and Andy. Smileing he went to say hi only to have the greeting halt as he saw that Andy was obviously upset.

"Koibito what would be wrong?" He asked walking over to the other man holding him gently.

"Ehh, Mat, it's Eyota," Andy said, frowning as he hugged his mate. "There was a note, said she's been stealing! Can you believe it?" He sighed, licking his lips nervously and looking up at Mat. "I'm not sure what to do...I mean, you don't think she could...?" He stopped, not wanting to even think that their baby could be stealing. "It's not as if we don't give her everything she wants..."

Mat smiled and rubbed his lovers cheek softly beofre walking away from him for a moment. "She could be, you can't call everyone liers, and no Koi I don't want to belive it nither. I think we need to talk to her. How about you go get here I will start dinner and we will talk over the supper table. Ask her to tell us the truth then tonight after we put her to bed we will investigate this contact the person who left us the note and find out what has been taken to this point. " Sighing he kissed tori's cheek before going into the kitchen to start to prepare dinner throwing his apron on as he went.

"We can't ignore the past records with her. She was never given the love she deserved. She needs to be shown we love her." he said as he poured water into a large pot and putting it on the stove to boil.

Andy nodded, looking a little happier. "Good idea Love, I'll go get her..." He said, turning toward Eyota's room. He shuffled over to the door, quietly knocking on it before pushing it open. Eyota was sitting on her bed, reading a bright pink book about her favorite subject, princesses. Andy had given her the book the day before via setting it in her room without her knowing, and he was glad to see that she was enjoying it. When he opened the door, she looked up, her eyes wide with innocence.

"Hey, honey..." Andy said, swallowing as he approached her. "Mat's started dinner, it'll be ready soon..." The shorter man slowly lowered himself onto the bed, looking over her shoulder at the book. "Do you like that? I thought it looked good..."

Eyota nodded a little, her tail moving slightly. "Thanks," she said, looking up at Andy for a moment and the back down to the book. "What's he cooking?"

"Oh, um..." Andy blinked, glancing in the direction of the kitchen and shrugging. "I didn't ask; is there something specific you want?" Mat and he did everything they could to make Eyota happy; even though they just officially adopted her, it was already automatic to cater to the girl's needs.

"Nah, not tonight," Eyota responded, shrugging her little shoulders. Her fluffy pink dress, another testament to her slight obsession with princesses, ripped a little with her movements. "I'm hungry..." Her voice trailed off as she went back to reading, her lips moving slightly as she concentraited. Every few words she would look up at Andy and he would read with her, telling her the meanings of words or how to say something. Surely, she couldn't be capable of theft...right?

Mat continued to run around the kitchen working his skill at the stove. "DINNER!" he called as he put the salad on the table and proceded to put some on the salad plates at Andy and Eyotas sitting. He loved cooking and "properly" Always wine and salad, then the main course and if he had time dessert today he thought ice cream and a walk were in order to talk to Eyota some more.

At Mat's declaration of dinnertime both Andy and Eyota turned, perking up. "Ahh, it's ready," Andy said, smiling a bit and getting up from the bed. Eyota followed closely behind him as the shorter man shuffled into the kitchen, taking his place at the table.

"Looks good, Love," He said, nodding toward the salad. Although the food did indeed look good, and Andy was hungry, his worry about having to talk to Eyota later quickly took his mind off of food.

Mat smiled as he too sat and helpped witht he serveing of the salad. Smiling Mat took Tori's hand from accross the small table and put his other opened to Eyota who did what was exspected.

Mat was never a openingly religious man, he wore a simple gold cross and never attended church in less needed, as the world itself should be the church. But it was always a tradition and a comfort to bless the day, and to ask for strength before eating the supper meal together. It really was the only meal they all ate together. Mat was always busy at breakfast cooking and getting people ready for the day, and lunch was eaten when one had the time. Supper was really the only time they atre together.

The prayer was always the same, thanks for the food, thanks for the life he has lived, thanks for his family, his friends, and of course the family he was slowly but surley growning himself, but the end was different. "And lord, we are not to ask for things, but please give us all the strength we will need to battle this upsomeing kink in the fabric of life." With that he softly muttered his amen before picking up his own fork

"So how was everyones day?" He asked generally to the family he had. He knew Tori would say it was good, things were always good for the both of them when they were happy and enjoying life. It was Eyota's responce that he was interested in the most.

Andy bowed his head and squeezed Mat's hand a little, smiling. The other man could always comfort him, no matter what he was feeling or what was on his mind. He sincerely hoped that the issue with Eyota wouldn't turn out to be a big deal; they had enough going on just trying to move in, and this extra stress wouldn't help any of them.

"Ahh, good, Love," Andy said, smiling a little as he responded to Mat's question. "I can't say I did much of anything today, productivity-wise," The short man grinned sheepishly, nodding. "What about you, and Eyota?"

"Things were good up to the point that you handed me that note." Matt sighed he hated when people pointed blame on people but really he did not blame them for pointing it all to Eyota she was known as a thief before comeing to them and they had delt with a simular issue before hand.

"Eyota, I don't want to beat around the perverbial bush so lets be honest with each other." He said softly and carefully trying to use his soft fatherly voice, the one he used to calm her during a nightmare or to sooth her feelings when she was upset.

"The caretaker left a note on the door today and Andy got it first. Apparently things are going missing and they honestly think it is you. I don't belive them but as tenets of this building I must ask you sweety, did you take the items that are missing?" Quietly he waited for a reply Eyota did not move she looked at her plate, if she did it she was not saying and if she didn't, did she know who did?

"Sweety, your actions are saying you did it. So please if you did do the right thing and give it all back even if you just put it on there front door step in lunch bags without a further word about it you should take care of it." slowly he took a sip of water.

"If someone has something you want sweety feel free to tell us we will try our best to give you everything you want or to at least tell you why you can't have it."

"Are you mad?" She asked softly not looking up.

"Not one bit." Matt said looking to Andy for his reply. For this to work properly they both had to be okay with it all.

Andy nodded, smiling a little. "We love you, Eyota. You are our little girl, and we try our best to support you in everything you do. However, stealing is something no one should want to do, ne? It hurts the thief and the person who has had their things taken." Andy chewed his lip nervously, trying to think of what to say. He wasn't as experienced as Mat at being a father, and it was showing.

"I agree with Mat, though; if you did do it, leaving the things for them to get would be good. Maybe writing them a little note to say you're sorry would be good too. No one will hold a grudge, I don't think." He wiggled his nose a little, smiling. "After all, who could be angry at such a cute little girl?"

Eyota looked up at Andy, her eyes moist with tears. They were both so nice to her; this was so unlike what she was used to. She had done something bad, and they weren't even punishing her! A brief thought ran through her mind of how she could take advantage of their feelings, but she banished it quickly, at least for now. Instead she filled her mind with plans to return everything with as little confrontation as possible.

Mat smiled happily watching as Andy spoke to there new addition to the house hold. "I think you are good as well, so you will do what is right but for now lets eat and maybe bathe you and get ready for tomorrow?" He said before takeing a sip of his drink.

Dinner passed with idel chit chat about there day and about what the plan was for tomorrow it being saturday, maybe the beach, or the park. Mat figured he would make breakfast around 8am this should give everyone time to shower and get ready for the day, they could then sit down and each then go on there way.

It was agreed apon that it would be a day spent at the beach with a bit of shopping on the board walk.

"I think that is a purfect way to spend a day we will target to leave here for 10 I will get everyone up at 7 okay?"
