Kofuku blinked, looking between Panther and Faleen, then shrugged a little. "You know, honestly I'm really not sure why she hates you. I can find out if you'd like." Oh, she was going to find out why her best friend for life hated the guy she had a crush on... but she'd probably do it later after a great evening of going shoplifting and what not.
The smile that came on her face when Shade appeared suddenly disappeared when Boggart came into play. "Oh... he has one too? Kinda a weird color for a pokemon though." Grabbing a pokeball from her belt, she tossed it beside Shade. "Gizmo, stand ready." She commanded as the Pichu appeared. Little did anyone know that her 'side trip' had been to the cafe to shove as much sugar and coffee down that little pichu's mouth to keep it as awake and perky as possible. It would be a few hours until Gizmo'd be able to sleep again.

rolling the pokeball in her own palm as she looked over her partner's pokemon, a very uniquely colored Gengar, Ghost type, poison type.
she tilted her head softly, looking to the pokemon panther had summoned, and to no surprise she saw a normal Gengar. the one he tried to use against Seth.
and then Gizmo... it was going to be strange battling her friend.
Enlarging her pokeball, she didn't say a thing as she flung it out, the ball cracked open as it struck the ground, getting throw back to her as the light that spewed out broke away, revealing a tall standing Umbreon.
Panther wasn't the only one that's been training.

The corner of his mouth twitched. Perfict this was why they had been training. He would get to try out the new move in an actual battle. "Shade this is it." the odds were against them, panther knew it. The pichu wasn't evolved yet, had it even be a pikachu he would have felt safer, but he would make due.
Shade was faoused onthe ornge gengar. He puffed up, trying to look more intimidating. "Gengar!"
"Alright, since we are ready to start, Gengar, hypnosis!" The gengar nodded and sent out the pulse of energy out tword the two opponates.

 The pulse struck Boggart and he shook his head a moment, but nothing more came of it, the glowing yellow eyes narrowed on the opposing Gengar as Claris curled his lips into a dangerous smirk. Boggart was now officially annoyed, and poor Shade was going to reap the 'Rewards' of it.
"Boggart... Psychic."
Potent beams of mental energy erupted from Boggart, and yes, the ghost pokemon could definitely learn the technique. The energy caused the air to stir and ripple as it flew off toward Shade.

Faleen narrowed her eyes when she saw the attack that Panther had launched at her Umbreon. though she to Smirked when her Umbreon didn't seem fazed by it either.
when her partner attacked, she lifted her own hand and put it on her hip.
"Umbreon, Dark Pulse" she ordered,
Umbreon's red eyes turned on the pokemon that had launched the first attack, letting the hypnosis move right past him. he narrowed his eyes. and at his masters orders. he lowered his head, arching his shoulders.
for a second his hair stood on end, as he let blast a pulse of dark energy right at the Gengar.

Shade survived the first wave of attack, and shook his head, ready to go again, but then the darkpulse hit him. He flew backwards, landing on his back, the evil emotion overwhelming him. His eyes swirled and his legs dangled in the air.
Panther's heart dropped. It looked like it was back to the drawing board. Shade was truley his best pokemon. He carefully returned Shade and re-clipped the ball to his belt. "Shall I send out another?" It seemed that the pichu wouldn't last much longer then Shade had. Still defeat was in his every muscle.

Kofuku sweatdroped a bit, watching as the pokemon threw their attacks at one another. Gizmo, however, was not happy that his trainer was leaving him as a sitting duck and was doing every thing in his power not to get hit by any stray attacks. She looked at Gizmo and barked out her first order to him in her most sure voice as she could muster. "Gizmo, use Thundershock!"
FINALLY! Gizmo grinned and dashed at the closest pokemon to him; Umbreon. "Pi CHU!" He belted out as he used his Electric-powered attack at the dark pokemon.
Kofuku's mouth dropped a little when Shade went down and she turned to Panther with a guilty look of 'I know I messed up'. "I'm going to be the downfall, aren't I...." She muttered to him, then turned to try to keep her focus on the battle as she bit her lip.

He smiled as he watched the Pichu put up a fight and he raised his hand and pushed the button on his Pokeball, the familiar red beam shooting out as it took hold of Boggart, surprising the Gengar just a bit.
"Panther, pick your next Pokemon, Boggart has done what he was meant to do."
He watched his partner for a moment as he called out his beloved Pokemon, his Azra. The Absol appeared in a blinding flash of red light and let out a howl as it stared at Panther and Kofuku, the one good eye locking onto them.

Panther nodded and reached back for his other pokemon, the one he rarly used, and with good reason. He threw the ball, alowing out swiftwing, who stood tall. He spread out his wing and let out a cry.
"Swiftwing, air slash!" Panther called to him, knowing the powerful move would give them leaverage they had lost. Swiftwing gave him a narrow a look and the rose into the air, above the other pokemone, servaying them. For a few moments Panther wondered if the bird would even listen to him, but to his suprise and relief the bird sooped down sending a slash of air at the opposing pokemon, aming for the Absol.

Umbreon powed him head when the Thunderbolt attacked him, his fur prickling over his body as his eyes shut as the charces ripped through his body.
but once the attack broke, the Umbreon lifted his head, large red eyes easing open again as he shook out his body, trying to smooth his fur back down.
Faleen looked to Gizmo, the side of her mouth twitching a bit upward, it wasn't her greatest wish to attack her friend's pokemon, but this was a battle.
"Umbreon-"
she was about to give her Umbreon an order when she caught sight of her partner's next Pokemon, she let out a sudden gasp, staring at the Absol now partnered with her Umbreon.
Her attention then snapped over to Claris, giving him an awed look. "you have an Absol?"

Her fascination with his Absol resulted in a twitch of the corner of his mouth, a grin playing over his lips. He simply dipped his head as he confirmed her question, as if Azra's presence wasn't enough to do so. He eyed Swiftwing and as it began to use its Air Slash attack, he roared out a command to Azra.
"Azra! Me First!"
If Azra could have smirked, he would have as he leapt into the air and flung his head to the side, causing a rift in the air from the blade on his head. The resulting attack came faster over the Pidgeots as he used Air Slash at the same power it would have been had he been a flying type.
As the attack went off he spoke quickly to Faleen.
"Yes, and Azra is a wonderful partner, but pay attention to the fight!"

"Right!" she yelped, having been caught off guard, she shook her head slightly and looked back over to her Umbreon, battling with more excitement now to be able to see an Absol in action.
"Umbreon, Faint Attack." she told her pokemon.
'Umbre!' the pokemon called, suddenly streaking completely out of sight
(no idea how to properly translate this move into RP. I'm just going to go by how I've seen it preformed in the show)

Kofuku's grin spread over her lips as Faleen lost focus on the battle, and she chose that time to have Gizmo attack Umbreon again. She didn't have anything against Faleen, of course, but she just had a better chance against her best friend's pokemon than she did against the Absol that had just appeared. "Gizmo! Use Thundershock again! Same opponent!"
Gizmo was feeling pretty good at his first attack having hit Umbreon, even if it hadn't been much in the way of damage. Jumping back and fourth with energy, his ears perked up as Kofuku's order's reached him. Grinning, he dashed towards Umbreon again, sending out his second Thunder Attack towards the pokemon. However, said target disappeared, leaving a very confused Pichu standing there looking around. "Chu?"
