"Oh don't give me that Bullcrap. You're acting all serious, and even when you were trying to tease me earlier about tackling you, you didn't really smile." She gave him 'the look' that women always give men when they're irritate, then walked off to the car with her arms crossed. "Jeeze, I'm not stupid...." She muttered to herself.

Kofuku slid in and slamed the door rather harshly behind her. "Well, if you keep it up, you're going to turn out just like Seth and people will respect you because they're scared shitless about you and then go and talk crap about you behind your back." She glanced to him, but there was something a little softer in her expression. "And you deserve more than to be respected because of fear."

Looking at him with a shocked expression, Kofuku didn't even have to think to answer him. "Of course I respect you! You're an incredibly better trainer to your pokemon than me, you can wield a paint ball gun just as well as me perhaps even a little better, and you're someone I look up to." She paused, then remembered the hight difference. "And I don't mean in the literal sense."

"Because my pokemon aren't that great... And it wasn't just your Swift Wing. You also had your Gengar too. I have an Eevee with no attack moves who doesn't want to learn any attack moves, a Pichu that sleeps half the time unless I shove caffeine and sugar down it's throat, and a rather bitchy Cyndaquil who you'll meet later."

Leaning her head back and closing her eyes, she gave a soft sigh. "I'm really hoping to give the last one an attitude adjustment, but I really haven't worked with pokemon before I joined the Rockets. I have no clue what I'm doing." She gave a bitter laugh with a snort. "I'm so useless...." she muttered to herself.

"Her favorite past time is setting fire to my socks... normally while I'm wearing them. And you haven't noticed, but my hair is a few inches shorter and you have HER to thank for it." She said rather bitterly. It was rather obvious she was dealing with a strong case of 'sassy-monster' where her pokemon KNEW it had the power.

Hearing Panther's passion coming back made Kofuku smile, though. That was the man she'd totally crushed on, and she knew he was still there. The content and happy smile kept on her face as her arms uncrossed.

"Well, I put it out before it went up too fast. But... getting her was rather painful. I was walking under an overpass and someone chucked their pokeball out the window of their car or something. It's what caused they pokeball-shaped bruise on my forehead you hit earlier. I guess some poor kid got her as a starter and just gave up on her."

Looking over to him, she smiled a little more. "And the Panther we all know and love is finally coming back...."

"I was afraid he might have." She gently took his relaxed hand and gave it a squeeze. "If you hadn't, I was going to have to prank him out of you, just to let you know." As he spoke about people throwing away pokemon, she looked out the window.

"People are disgusting...." She said quietly. Maybe there was hope. She could relate to Nina, since they were both abandoned. Unhooking Nina's ball from her belt, she placed it in her lap and gently stroked it. No, she would not give up on this pokemon. Even if it cremated her, she wasn't going to give up.

"Hm mmmmh." Game the clearly distracted response of Kofuku. Her hand was still on top of his, but it wasn't really doing anything. Instead, she was spaced out, thinking back to her days at the orphanage. Her other hand was gently stroking Nina's pokeball.

"Sure...." She muttered, half hearing him at the moment. Instead she was wondering what sort of family Nina could have come from. Kofuku knew what she was to her parents, an accident, but she had no idea why Nina was just given up on so easily. Nina was strong willed, and that alone was enough to have hope in the pokemon.
