Xion looked at the Professor. "And those would be?" she asked, tilting her head.

The Professor pulled out three Pokeballs and handed them to Xion. "In those Pokeballs, you will find one of three Pokemon," he told her, "Shinx, the Flash Pokemon, Starly, the Starling Pokemon, and Piplup, the Penguin Pokemon."

Xion took the Pokeballs from the Professor's hand and look at them before tossing one to the ground.

The Pokeball flashed and revealed a Starly from inside. "Star Star!" it said looking around.

Xion looked at the Starly for a few seconds before she shook her head. "Not him..." she said returning to its Pokeball.

The next Pokeball opened and a Shinx appeared from the ball in a flash. "Shinx!" it growled looking around at the humans.

Xion gasped as it growled. She stooped done and looked at it closely. "This is the one!" she said with a giggle, "Definetly!"

The Shinx growled happily at Xion.
Prof. Rowan nodded. "It's a fine specimen of a Shinx if I say so myself," he told her.
Link pulled out his Pokedex and looked through it. "Looks like its a female one, too," he stated.

"Then I guess I'll have to call her Samantha," Xion said, closing her eyes and smiling. She then stood up and handed the two other Pokeballs back to the Professor.

The Professor took the two Pokeballs Xion had handed to them and replaced them in his briefcase. He then took out a Pokedex to give to her. "This is so you as well," he said, handing it to her.

The Professor nodded before saying, "Well with that out of the way, we can head out to the lake now."
Link nodded then turned to leave back towards Sandgem Town. "Well I guess I'm gonna head off now," he said, before taking a couple of steps.
