Fuyu listened to the conversation between Oasis and The practor, keeping his head turned in the general direction of the conversation. while woundering what was going on down there, he suddenly heard this sound of a thick and viscus liquid 'spatting' against something. From the rest of the conversation, it wasn't a good slpat in the sense of discusting and that it hit the proctor. Once their conversation was over, he heard his name called up. He nodded and stood up, and started to head down the stairs. Since the proctor was there, no-one tried to trip him down the stairs. Once down to the bottom he waited for the proctor to speak before. "So Fuyu... what will you be showing for the practical test?" The proctor asked as he looked at him. Fuyu turned his head to the proctor and was about to say something.

"He's blind... He'll hit one of us instead of showing you." A student stated out loud so mostly everyone could hear. It sounded like the same kid that tried to trip him before the protor entered. The was bugging Fuyu alot and he was going to put an end to it. "What am I going to do? I'm going to prove that kid wrong is what." He stated pointing in the childs direction while still looking at the proctor. With that, he reached back and untied the cloth covering his eyes. After that was done, he did two things, focused his chakra in his eyes and feet. He could now see, and his feet hand more traction. Without letting anyone know when he was going to start, he ran towards a wall which was far from him. The kid started to laugh thinking that he was going to run into the wall, but instead he started to walk up it, using the chakra to keep him on it. Once he got to the ceiling, he looked right at the kid who wasn't laughing anymore and took a few more steps into the center of the ceiling. Next he focused chakra into his hands and brought it back. He didn't know 100% if this would work, but he'd been practicing it for a while. He quickly constructed a few handsigns and then flung his hand towards the child. A gust of wind in a creasent shape was shot towards him and hit right infront of him on the ground. After that, he jumped back down onto the ground and looked over at the proctor. "I could have hit him... but he's not worth it..." Fuyu thusly turned to the kid that he attacked. "And just because I'm blind, doesn't mean I can't do something effectively without hurting anyone..." He shook his head and walked up to his seat and sat down after grabbing his cloth, but keeping it off.

The proctor didn't say anything, just took a note or two then looked up at the rest of the croud. "Hatsuma... your next" He stated and waited for her.

((p.s. that's what I'm useing these lines to learn XD))

Hidden in Sand

"Very well" Hatsuma stated simply as she stood up and made her way down to the open area of the room. Turning she gave a light bow to the proctor before beginning, this signified him as the target for a certainty. in a quick rush forward she began a hand to hand onslaught, it was swift and numerous thanks to the two additional arms of hers adding extra strikes into her combination.

The form wasn't refined and resembled a high class form of street fighting. the proctor had little trouble guarding against the attacks and was even able to send her off balance backwards. Hatsuma turned the balance issue into a momentum boost of a back flip, all four of her hands touch the ground before landing on her feet. Immediately she proceeded into two sets of hand seals both being the same the bottom going a bit slower.

The first series finished and she slashed the air in front of her with her upper arms. a sharp torrent of air emerged from the ends of her hands and launched towards the proctor. The proctor seeing the technique and knowing it well manuvered into a low crouched stance just in time for Hatsuma's second series of seals to finish.

Hatsuma unleashed this set in a similar manner to the first cutting the air in a downward angle to target the proctor as the technique unleashed along with it was a thin white film that extend from her hands. The air waves carried the webbing at a more rapid pace then they would travel alone.

In response the Proctor swiftly unsheathed a kunai and slashed at the crescents in front of him. Had it been only the force of the wind that would have been enough however the webbing added an extra weight to the technique that caused it cling to his deflecting arm which in turn threw him to the ground and held his kunai to the floor firmly. Releasing the Kunai he stood once more and dusted himself off.

"Very good, please be seated..." he stated gruffly before looking over the student list and proceeded to continue through the examination of the other students after Hatsuma seated herself once more. After several hours the room had finished with the assessment process and the results would be announced to the individuals.

"I'll give the results in the order I did the assessments, firstly Oasis, your technique was indicative to that of a support role in the shinobi role and from the papers I've looked over of yours you also have high marks in medical knowledge and the like, in light of this you will receive your headband and additional gear befitting that of a medical Shinobi, congratulations." he stated calmly which was followed by a light applause from the other students.

"Fuyu in light of your chakra control regarding you and your environment, you would well fit the role of a sensory shinobi, you have rather high marks in many of your classes but none greater then your control over chakra, this is beneficial to that of sensing class, you will receive your headband and additional gear for your area of expertise. congratulations" he explained and that was followed by a light but apparent applause as well.

"Hatsuma, your talents are apparent, you show rather good natural talent and instinct in Taijutsu as well as exceptional agility in both evasion and hand seals and are therefore more suited for combat. you will receive your headband and gear appropriate for your field, congratulations." he finished, the applause was similar to Fuyu's in that it was more out of courtesy for the proctor then the actual graduate. The proctor proceeded through the rest of the students, only picking out a small handful more that actually graduated and giving bad news to the many others.

"Those of you that passed will head towards the main office to receive your headbands and gear, those of you who didn't reflect upon yourself and grow stronger." the Proctor finished and turned to leave through the door he had entered through leaving the students to their own.

Hidden in Sand

Oasis remained silent, which was quite the feat all things considered with this girl. She was only silent through the tests following her own because those around her were showing silence, either because they were paying attention to what was being done, or because they were thinking really hard about what to do when it was their turn. So she watched, first Fuyu who was, as she understood it only blind sometimes. He showed an interesting talent for finding his target even with his bad eyes. She grinned lightly as he scared the beans out of the person he was targeting, she had to admit, for a blind guy that was really flashy she was for some reason expecting something more subtle. Next up was her fun four-armed friend, well maybe she wasn't all that much fun she wasn't entirely sure really Hatsuma seemed so very stoic and standoffish maybe she was just like that around new people, yea that was most likely it. During her thinking she had missed about half of Hatsuma's display and only came back to attention when a sticky blast of wind knocked the proctor over. "hehehe that was a fun techique." she states with a big grin. she didn't really know anything about the other bloodlines so she had no way of knowing that her technique was using some of her bloodline ability. Once Hatsuma was done the rest of the class proceeded one after another to be tested.
Several students showed what were for lack of a better word, duds. Failed and bloated looking clones poorly timed replacement techniques resulting in at least three shinobi who passed out and one who was wounded bad enough to need immediate medical attention. The most boring displays of all were from the Genjutsu specialists, after all there was absolutely nothing to see, unless they failed and passed out from over exerting their little bit of chakra. After a number of hours, and Oasis taking a good long nap during the last bit which involved a fairly sizable puddle of drool beneath her face as she lay her head on the desk. She snapped to attention and wiped the slobber from her face as she heard the proctor addressing the room again. With half opened eyes she stared and didn't hear much of what he said until she heard her name, and without any pause she was up and headed down to get her headband and the paperwork to claim the other items. "Booyah!" she cheered out before tying the headband around her neck along with her windbreaker scarf/half cloak. She went to sit bak down beside Fuyu and Hatsuma, she could have left but she wanted to know if they would be graduating today. Once Fuyu received his headband Oasis cheered out loud, perhaps she was the only one showing enthusiasm but she didn't really care all that much what other people were doing or thinking, after all Oasis was Oasis and she would do what she wanted to do. Likewise when Hatsuma was called down and given her assessment of her abilities Oasis cheered out loudly again, it really hadn't hit her that the three of them were of different classes which meant they could easily be assigned to the same squad. Oasis was far to excited to think of anything like that all things considered, her attention span was none too great.

When Fuyu heard that it was Hatsuma's turn, he kept his ears open to anything that might give way on what she was going to do. His eyes were starting to bother him quite the bit so he thought that it'd be best to save the trouble for later. As he appeared to be looking onwards, he could hear the sound of strikes being made, but with the dull sounds they were it was most likely that they were blocked. Then there was silence for a moment. Then thing he heard was suffling and then the proctor spoke.

As he sat in his seat and pretended to pay attention, Fuyu just was focusing on letting his eyes rest, rubbing them every now and again just to keep them ready at a moments notice. It was a while until every student was done, then the proctor started announcing who'd graduated and who didn't. He grinned hearing that Oasis was most suited for medical purposes, and had passed. It was good to hear, but when his name was called and told that he passed, his grin widend a little more. The type of shinobi didn't bother him, he was just glad that he'd passed after being told it wouldn't happen for so many years. Then it was Hatsuma's turn. He figured the way she spoke, that she'd pass and she was correct. The rest of the students were mostly dissapointed but a few had made it through as well. While all of that happened, he could hear Oasis yelling and chanting as the three of them were told they passed. To be honest, he didn't hear her must during the examinations so it was a wake-up call for him to suddenly hear blurts of excitment. When the proctor got up and left, Fuyu turned his body and heard cracks all the way down his spine. sitting for that long bored always made him feel stiff. After that, he stood up and headed for the main office. A loud set of footsteps suggested that someone bolted out of there like it was nothing. The only one like that in this class was Oasis, and he couldn't blame her. He made his way down the stairs and down the hall once out of the classroom. It was nice that he graduated but suprised how many failed. He continued to make his way down the hall, finally putting the cloth over his momentarally useless eyes. As he made his way down the hall, he woundered who'd he'd be teamed up with as the 3 person cell of a genin group. He let that thought slip his mind as he got to the office. He took; the headband, gear and started to fill out the proper papers with the help of one of the office reseptionists.

Hidden in the Sand (Wind Country)

Yuuki sighed as she rubbed her temples. It had been a far to long of a day, and the sun was beating down on her much worse then she had ever felt it. She made her way over to some shade as she watched those around her heading off to the academy. She wrinkled her nose as she made a slight noise. She then looked up into the clear sky. Her eyes staring as she thought to herself Should I really go on with this? Is this what you would have wanted mother, father? What if I should just try to live a normal life?..No..I am courage. I have to live up to that name! Yuuki placed her hand on her chest as she nodded to herself once, as in confirmation. She then scooped up her pouch as she began her walk towards the academy as well. Her eyes kept darting to all the kids around her. She felt more like a kid walking among them this close. She wondered if they would accept her, even though she really didn't have anyone to look after her.

It had been two long years since she was in just one house. Many of the villagers were very kind to allow her to stay at their place for a small fee. Doing odd jobs was alright to to be able to get a few trinkets, but becoming a ninja, and completing the missions was where she had to be. She wanted to show the world just how courageous she could be. And get paid for her missions that she would indeed complete.

Yuuki was determined to keep at it, no matter what. Two years seemed like an eternity for Yuuki now. But no matter what, she was going to do this, for herself, her fallen parents, and the elder who had looked after for for those two years...She owed it to them all. Yuuki looked ahead as the doors to the academy were up ahead. She wrinkled her nose once more as she inhaled, and held her breath. Her right hand pulled open the doors to the academy as she stepped inside. The others following her, but splitting up behind her, running off to their respectable rooms. Yuuki finally let out her breath, having not noticed that she had held it for so long. She walked over to the main office as she nodded once more to herself and walked in. Her eyes adjusting to the light. She made her way over to the counter and asked in a kind like voice "So um...I'm here to sign myself up! I'm ready, and willing to learn! I wish to become a ninja and to do missions when ever I am asked." Her smile wide and genuine as she found that the secretary stared at her with an odd look, and handed Yuuki a clipboard with a page of information to fill out. Yuuki thanked her and took a seat as she filled out the information. She then handed it back, pulling out her small sac of coins to pay for her tuition. The secretary blinked a few times, but asked nothing of it, taking it and then handing Yuuki a timetable. Yuuki bowed once and then skipped out of the room. She then held the timetable up into the light, as if trying to figure out what's what, and where to go from here. Yuuki twisted her mouth to the side as she pouted slightly "Great...so...now what. No one's around to tell me what class is what! Oi oi...Time to wander the halls!" She pushed off on her heels as she pivoted forward, seeming to look as if she was about to fall flat on her face, but holding enough balance to make it look some what graceful.

Yuuki began to pop her head into every class. More curious then anything else. Most were empty, and only a few actually had students sitting. She decided to go into an empty class. Not noticing that this was a classroom of her's. Apparently she was far to excited to notice that the number that was on the door, was on her timetable as well. She walked towards the window, and stared outside, as a whole bunch of students..possibly around her age were training. She tilted her head to the side as she watched intently, not thinking about finding her other classes. Her elbows resting on the window sill as she wiggled her nose a few times. A slight soft humming emitting from her as she wondered much being here. If she was able to go on with this or if she had made a sudden rash decision. Her hands resting on either side of her cheeks as she hummed, not wanting to count this day, as her first day of the academy. She hated having to stand in front of the class to introduce herself >.<

As Yuuki was watching suddenly someone behind her cleared his throat. Yuuki was immediately startled as she jumped and turned on her toes, to face whomever it was. As she turned, she gripped the ledge of the windowsill as her eyes adjusted to student? Possibly? Who was standing at the door of the class room. He crossed his arms over his chest as he stared at Yuuki, a certain look to him almost seemed as if he was not happy that she was snooping around. He took one big stride into the class as his voice came out clear, and strong "Who are you, and what are you doing just standing there watching my students?"

Yuuki's hands let go of the ledge as she pivoted forward on her toes, she had a bad habbit of doing this as she extended her hand with the timetable, forgetting how to speak. Her head tilts to the side a little as she held her balance on her toes, her body almost looking as if she is about to fall flat on her face. The male lifted a right eyebrow as he took the timetable and looked it over "Well well then, you are a newly added student, and you happen to be one of mines. Well then. Welcome is in order. Even so, I would have hoped that you wouldn't have seemed to be sneaking around, watching us all training below. Alright then, come with me then Misaki Yuuki." As he said her name so formal, Yuuki couldn't help but speak for the first time. She cleared her throat slightly as she spoke soft like "Just Yuuki...if you don't mind...." She looked at the male, once they were walking outside. He seemed to be older then her by maybe 3 years..at the most. She wrinkled her nose, not really wanting to be teached by someone close to her age. She waited for him to say his name as he just replied "Sensai is good enough." Yuuki made a face as he said this, seeing that he wasn't going to be telling her his name any time soon. Yuuki sighed as she walked along his side, already feeling the stares of confussion coming from the students. As they got to the side of the field the teacher waved everyone over as he smiled and then said "Well class, this is our newest edition to the group. Her name is Misaki Yuuki, and she's here to learn just like the rest of you. So treat her as you would treat each other." With that everyone looked at Yuuki and then went back to what they were doing. Yuuki stared at her sensai as she wanted to kick him but thought better of it. She then stammered off to a near by tree, picking up some kunai's that were on the grass. She then stood a few feet away from the tree and began to throw them towards the tree muttering softly.

Her aim wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. With the four kunai's in her hand, every other one she would throw at the tree would land beside each other. Yuuki looked at the tree as she seemed puzzled. She walked over to the tree, feeling eyes on her. She thought nothing of it as she pulled all four kunai's out of the tree swiftly, and with almost no effort. She turned on her heels quickly, as t catch whom ever was looking at her but found that she couldn't see who was. Yuuki shruged and kept throwing the kunai's at the tree.

Yuuki sighed as she flicked her wrist now, making the kunai soar through straight to the tree. Her eyes focusing on the spot right beside the previous kunai. Having almost perfected throwing kunai's at the poor tree. Her sempai walked over and watched her throw with almost no effort. He then placed his hand on his chin as she said "So, piece of cake? Hm, is it just me, or where you possibly pre-trained? Or maybe you're just a fast learned?" Yuuki blinked a few times as she flicked the last kunai at the tree, having made a straight line across the tree trunk. She walked over to the tree and pulled all four kunai's out of the tree quickly as she walked back to her sempai and simple said "Well..I suppose I am a fast learner?"

Yuuki looked at her sempai as she softly said "Isn't there something...more towards the medical feild?" Her eyes focused on her teacher's features as she stood there silently, twirling the kunai with ease in her fingers. As he said nothing, Yuuki sighed softly as she pivoted on her heels, making her body turn slightly. She then flicked the kunai back to the tree, this time with a little more force. The kunai drove itself into the trunk more this time then previous times. She then placed the other three kunai's on the ground as she walked away from both her speechless teacher, and tree. Everyone stared this time, after having see what she did. Yuuki held her breath as she sat down on a bench near. Her eyes closing slightly as she sat there thinking how much she wanted to learn how to help when there were injured people around. She wanted to protect these people, these kids that were training in this academy as well.

Hidden in Sand

Notwen woke up late today, having stayed up all night poring over guide booklets on how to use capsule scrolls. He rubbed his eyes and got off his bed. On the way to the bathroom he walked over the clutter of ninja tools, scrolls and video game cases that littered the floor. He paused and looked at an old poster on the wall. It portrayed a black-haired man with long orange bangs who wore a skull mask and an open haori.
A surge of anger ran through Notwen's body. In a blur he picked up a kunai knife with his toe, launching it up into his hand, and threw it with precision at the man's head. "I'll find you one day Dokuro, and when i do, i'll make you pay for taking my mother from me!"
Notwen proceeded to perform his morning rituals, then went to the academy. He stayed there, half-listening to the instructors. This is dull! I already know this stuff. He endured a few more hours of the instructor's repetitive drawl and at the end of the school day, headed for the cemetery.

Hidden in Sand

Once at the graveyard, Notwen made his way to the massive Memorial Tablet. The sand shifted in the wind as he stood there, gazing at the great polished headstone, reminiscing of the good times he'd spent together with his mother before the attack on the village two years ago. Then came the memory:
A band of rogue ninja had infiltrated the village and were causing destruction at key points. Notwen's mother, a skilled kunoichi, was called to duty, and she ordered him to watch his younger brother and sister. A short while after she had gone, the man in the skull mask had broken into their home. There was something Notwen recognized when he looked into the man's eyes, but he couldn't figure out what it was.
"What do you want!" Notwen yelled, putting himself between the man and his younger siblings.
"Niisan, i'm scared." whimpered Naila, his younger sister. Tears began to roll down her rosy cheeks.
"Scared?" said the masked man. "You ought to be, for tonight you lose your lives!"
Notwen was in a fit of rage. He charged at the man. "Oh, yeah?!" There was a blur of white and Notwen found himself sprawled at the base of the wall to his right. The left side of his face hurt and he tasted blood in his mouth, his blood.
"Yeah, starting with her!" A blade slid down his haori's sleeve and before Notwen could do anything, the man stood bent over Naila. "Ladies first." When he backed off, Notwen saw that he had run his little sister all the way through the heart with the sword. In fact, it was the sword that kept her from falling.
"NAILA!!!" Cried Notwen, charging at the man again, this time being met by a kick that sent him flying back to the place he had just been.
"Wait your turn, child!" That distraction allowed Jinta, his younger brother to scurry to the side door. "Oh?" The man made a hand-sign and a duplicate appeared in front of Jinta. "Where did you think you were going?" The clone kicked Jinta, but to its surprise it was a clone of Jinta, which blew up in a wisp of smoke.
"Take this!!" Jinta had appeared in the hall past Notwen, brandishing a kunai knife with 3 explosive notes attached, all of which were sparking. He threw the kunai at the original masked man, who seemed to not care. His clone was there in an instant, and stopped the kunai with its body.
The room was shaken by the explosion, which caused part of the roof to come down over the masked man. Notwen ran over to Jinta and grabbed his hand.
"We've got to get out of here." he said and they both started running for the door, when there was a crash and debris began to fly at them. Notwen looked back to see what happened. The masked man had protected himself with wing-shaped black flames that had appeared from his shoulder blades, and was now extending them, thus freeing him from the rubble.
"You kids intrigue me to no end!" said the man, resting his head sideways on his hand, and Notwen saw the enjoyment in the man's eyes through the slits in the mask.

Wind Country - Hidden in Sand

Yuuki yawned as she sat in class, taking down notes. For the time being, it was not of much interest to her, but she needed to learn it none the less. Her hand flowed with the pen on the paper, treating the pen almost as an extension to her own body. Her eyes focused on the board more as she stared at the back of her sempai's head. She felt more and more relaxed in this class as the time went by. She had become accurate with throwing kunai's and had been secretly training with a chuunin. He had been of great help to her, and she'd never forget that. Her sempai turned around with a big smile on his face as he simple said "Alright then, time for some more physical training!" Everyone got up and jolted out the door. Yuuki blinked and made a slight face as she packed up her books and placed them away in her small tote bag. She then got up and walked out the door yawning. Her sempai walking up beside her as he watched her. "So, you suddenly feel physical training boring?" Yuuki blinked and shook her head "Nu, its not that..I think I've gotten throwing the kunai's down pact..should I train else where, or with others? Everyone is still trying to perfect throwing kunai's, and I find that a little repetative." Her sempai raised one of his eyebrows as he heard her and then laughed "Well then, let's see if I can find a chuunin to come and keep you entertain." With that he ran off leaving Yuuki holding a kunai. She sighed as she kept her eyes on the other side of the grounds, flicking her wrist, as it soar directly on a path-way to the middle of the target. Her stance looking relaxed, as suddenly, her kunai was knocked off of its path with another. As another kunai was headed towards her. She quickly pulled out a new kunai, and sheilded her right arm knocking the kunai to the ground. Her body had turned quickly as she stood in a weird position. She heard someone clapping near by, as the other students had all gasped as Yuuki had done this. She focused her eyes over to a tree, where the clapping seemed to be coming from.

Shortly after both her sempai and the chuunin she had been training with came ino view. Yuuki relaxed once more as she watched them. The chuunin laughed as he simply said "I knew you had it in you Yuuki. You were hiding that. Very nice. Soo your sempai tells me you want to train differently from the rest? Well, that's fine with me then. Here, or else where?" A big smile across the chuunin's lips were seen as Yuuki placed her kunai away, walking over to the other fallen one and simply said "You've got to be kidding, sempai....why him?"

The chuunin was more taller then herself, once he stood on the side. She had never really noticed this. He seemed to almost tower over her form. Her sempai nodded once as he simple said "You wanted more, I got you more. Take it or leave it" Yuuki wrinkled her nose and shruged as she nodded and pointed over to an open feild. "Over there! Its seems spacious enough!" The chuunin looked over and then nodded in approval. Both Yuuki and the chuunin walked over. It seems a little odd walking along his side, with out really ever asking simple questions. Yuuki looked around and sighed once as she looked at the chuunin. "When...do I get to learn to become a medical ninja?" The chuunin stared at her and then simple said "Well, in due time, you'll know what to do." Yuuki made a face and then walked to the other side of the feild and brought out two kunai's. Her eyes focusing on her opponent at all times.

The chuunin laughed as he watched Yuuki getting ready. "Ah, a little amature like, don't you think. I could pretty much run to you, use a substatution and then have my hands around yours, taking those kunai's off of you." Yuuki narrows her eyes as she watched him even closer. She had remembered back when he would tell her to throw her kunai's at him. She was hesitant at first, but eventually she'd do it. Almost came toa point of being able to tell when the chuunin was about to use a substatution. Without her knowing it, he had been teaching her the vital parts of a human. Which should be avoided, or which to use when in extreme danger. He was almost her secondary sempai. He gave a small smile and lunged forward towards Yuuki. She took in a deep breath and stared at the blurr like thing coming directly towards her. She had already figuered out how to see the difference.

She planted her feet down on the ground, as she was getting ready to take on the impact of the sudden rush. And with that, he flashed a huge smile, and she felt a breeze as he twisted out of the path and was suddenly behind her. Yuuki blinked, and with almost the same speed that he had shown her, she brought her elbow down hard into his solarplexus. She then giggled and smiled "Oops, was that to hard? Or not hard enough?" The chuunin let out a small "Ooph' sound as he took half of the blow. "Well then, you can follow me. Very well done. I didn't expect this this soon into the fun." Yuuki took a step forward as she pivoted on her heels and gave a small skip like jump, facing him. A big bright smile on her face. "I surprised myself, so it seems"

Hidden in Sand

It was then when Notwen saw the the crimson red retina with the three black tomoe surrounding the pupil. The masked man took notice of this and said,
"So, you've noticed these eyes of mine. Let me tell you, a ninja of your calibre will never have the skill to use them. Even your own younger brother outclassed you." As he was speaking, the man's black-flame wings gradually got smaller and extinguished altogether. He jumped clear of the rubble and landed a few feet away from Jinta, who was startled by the man's speed and stumbled backwards.
"Jinta!" cried Notwen, but it was too late.
A frenzied scream came from doorway. Jinta was clutching his head with both hands, as if he were trying to get at something crawling inside. Tears streamed down from helplessly wild eyes. Jinta was brought to his knees by whatever horror he was experiencing, and his arms fell limply at his sides.
"There is no hope for him. He is brain dead." Notwen looked first at his sister, held in place by the masked man's sword. He looked at his brother now propped up by the doorway with his head hanging down, a steady trickle of drool falling from his slightly open mouth. At that moment Notwen snapped.
A roar of fury came from his throat. His hazel eyes became crimson, while two black tomoe materialized into existence. Notwen's agitated chakra began taking the form of tiny flames that covered his body.
"Oh?" said the masked man, taking an interest in the spectacle that was taking place. He was buffeted by a heatwave that came from the boy, then the room itself began to grow cold. "This is interesting.."
"This is for Naila!" Notwen moved at a speed the masked man could follow, but found that as he put his arm to knock him away, the fibers of his haori began to catch fire. He drew it back quickly, leaving himself defenseless against a weak kick that connected across his abdomen, but left the area scorched.
"This is for Jinta!" He pivoted and brought his elbow back. The masked man jumped away swiftly. Notwen followed closely after, reading the man's movements with his sharingan. As soon as the man landed, Notwen threw a punch that connected with the man's mask, leaving a black fist imprint and a few cracks behind. He heard the man curse.
"And this," he said, gathering his chakra into a spinning orange orb in his palm, "is for my Mother!!" At the moment, what he had said didn't register in his mind. He launched himself with his remaining energy at the masked man. The glowing orb connected with the man's torso.
"CALORMEN!!" The orb exploded into heatwave after heatwave that burned away the masked man's haori, the gi he wore underneath, and badly burned the impact zone on the man's skin. With that final effort, Notwen's eyes returned to their hazel color and the flames on his body extinguished. He fell on his hands and knees panting.
"I have to congratulate you," began the man, "I underestimated you and look what happened. I must say, I never expected this much from my own-"
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" came a call from the hole that the explosive notes made wall. "WE HAVE THE PLACE SURROUNDED!"
"Well it looks like it's my time to go. Hopefully our paths will cross again someday. Kuchiyose no Jutsu!(Summoning Jutsu)" the masked man snapped his fingers and out of the smoke appeared a huge eagle with fiery red-gold plumage. It was clad in armor that covered its back, broad breast, and head.
"Why have you summoned me here Ne-" started the armored eagle but was interrupted by the masked man, who had hopped onto its back.
"Not to be rude Lord Kaaw , but we need to get out of here now."
"I want an explanation when we have landed."
"Of course." the masked man took one last look at the boy. The great eagle took flight, its great wings kicking up a dust cloud as it zoomed through the opening in the wall. Notwen watched the dot that was the bird and man getting smaller in the night sky. Then as the fatigue caught up with him he fainted.

Notwen didn't notice there was someone behind him until he felt the firm hand on his left shoulder. Notwen turned his tear-stained face to see who it was and quickly brushed away his tears on his sleeve when he saw the face of his sempai.
"There are times when a man has to shed tears, Notwen. Ain't no shame in crying." He put his arm around his student's shoulder. "If they were still alive, I know they'd be proud of you."
Notwen sighed, letting his troubles out into the cool evening air.
Once he became a genin he would leave the village in search of the man that made him an orphan. But for now he would enjoy the company of his sempai.
"Hey, Soba-sempai, lets get some barbecue, I'm starving!"
"Sure, but you're payin' half the tab. I'm broke." They walked down the path to the BBQ Grill, talking heartily about Notwen's recent training and Soba's upcoming missions.

Yura stared into the clouldy sky, then turned her gaze back to the small lake in the training grounds." Mom,Dad...I will avenge your death if it's the last thing I do." she got up, then walked onto the dock and starts making the water rise.

A familar presence came up behind her." Having fun Yura? "

It was her cousin Rin, the eldest of her two cousins.Yura turned around shocked to see her cousin." Wow Rin you've grown up, but i bet your the same stuck up brat you were a year ago." Suddenly, Yura fell off the dock and ito the water. " See? nothings changed your nothing Rin, go back to your perfect life while you still have one." Then she got out of the water, dried up then, went back to her room to take a shower and go to bed.
