Ugh. Yup ReDeads, hate 'em. The Dead Hand, hate'em. But you know what I also hated was the shadow monster that came out of the ceiling. I was going along, minding my own business and all of a sudden, a shadow appears under me. At first I was like, "What the heck?" Then a giant hand comes from above me and grabs me and takes me away. I was so shocked, I just looked at the screen for a minute. Then I screamed. But I was like 13 when I played it. So, it was freaky.
The other monsters that freaked me out, (I was 12 at the time), were those zombies in Conker's Bad Fur Day for 64. I was so scared, I didn't touch that game for like a year and a half. ><

Whenever I'm in a room that has one, I get really tense and I start breathing heavily. That's another thing that made me hate the Well in MM. It was huge, and there were wallmasters everywhere. Although, the Bottom of the Well in OoT still holds the title for scariest game dungeon for me. Like the room with the coffins. And you don't know what will come out when you light the torches. D:

i'm never creeped out by any enemies in a video game. but there was this one time when i was scared by an enemy...i yelped and jumped. i was playing manhunt and there's that guy you have to kill when you're in the building and he jumps out, screams, and comes at you with that crowbar. that's the only time i've been startled.

When I was really, really young, I wouldn't play video games because I was scared of "monsters" It must of been a long time ago, but I remember being so scared>< So I would just watch my older brothers play.

AzraelDenka Sou Jara the wave in halo realy creeped me out sweatdrop *cough*flood*cough* Heh, the wave. *imagines a bunch of eleite flood at a basketball game doing the wave* hehe, the wave blaugh . i didnt really find them scary, just really ugly to look at and easy to kill 4laugh . there was this one monster in the first buffy game that freaked me out, it attacked in the school and would jump out at random moments and scare the s**t out of me confused . but otherwise, monsters don't really scare me in video games, just in movies.

I'd have to say the ghosts in Fatal Frame in themselves were pretty creepy. The women with their eyeballs poked out were probably the worst to me. They'd just pop out of nowhere screaming about their eyes. *shudders* The enemies in Clock Tower 3 were kind of scary, but most of it came from the fact that you can't fight them at first, so you are completely helpless and have to rely on hiding. And they pop out of nowhere. Its so nervewracking to be hiding behind a thin curtain and have a serial killer pacing around right in front of you saying "Alyssa, where are you?" You can't help but think "I'm right behind this flimsy little curtain that I can see you through...you are so totally going to find and kill me." sweatdrop

hawaiigal hahaha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was scared of the ReDeads and the Dead Hand...I mean I felt pretty lame when I was scared of the ReDeads and not scared of the zombies of Resident Evil... Well, the Resident Evil zombies are kind of predictable, I mean, they shamble over, moaning, trying to eat you until you blow them to bits. Of course, there are exceptions, (chainsaws!) but they're kinda what you would expect from an M rated game. The ReDeads were completely unexpected for me, and they were unpredictable, since they stand still when you're far away from them. Oh, and you're kind of screwed once they freeze you. And the Dead Hand was not only unexpected, it was just plain disturbing.
