Lily smiled at Trevor before walking to choose the butterfly, "I like the bright colors on this one. People will be able to see it in the sky from all over the park."
Yes, in truth they were both fairly bright, but the butterfly had more color which meshed together so very well.
"Now I just have to pay for it and we can head for the park," she said shuffling her book to get a better grip on the kite.
Lily turned and headed for the counter, curls swaying lightly, her skirt swaying a bit. She hardly realized she still wore her uniform, but it really matter not, as long as she did not get a stain.
After paying for the kite she turned back to Trevor, "Okay, lets go fly a kite," she pratically sang.

Trevor nods his head before offering to hold her books again "umm..do you want me to hold your books for you, so you have a better hold on the kite?" he asked her as he followed her out of the store. He shifted his own bag about and ran his fingers through his hair before following Liliana out of the store.
He pulled out his cell phone to check what time it is before putting it back in his pocket and humming quietly to himself as he followed her towards the park. He had decided he would get his homework done after he and Liliana had a fun day of flying a kite together, as friends. Or at least he mentally hoped she considered him as a friend and not some guy she bumped into coming out of the library, earlier on in the day.

Lily blinked for a second before fumbling slightly in an attempt to hand him her books as she walked out the door. Once she had manuvered them to her hands and the kite under her arms she handed them to Trevor, before getting a better hold on the kite.
"Thank you," she said softly smiling light, "that makes carrying this kite a lot easier."
She turned again heading for the direction of the park, not even noticing him checking the time, though her ears did catch him humming and she began to hum along for a few moments. After she gotten the general flow of the humming she sang of soft sweet notes to match while Trevor hummed.
She smiled through her notes as she saw the park coming into view.

Trevor paused and took her books from her and held them as they walked towards the park. It was not very often that Destiny City got decently nice weather. He put her books under his arms and continued to hum to himself before picking up his pace to keep up with her. He was not use to not talking he racked his brain to think of what to talk about.
"hey, liliana how is life going for you?" he asked her attempting to create some small talk, he blinked as the park came into view.

"Huh," Lily said stopping her singing, "Oh it's fine. Rather busy though, with school, homework, lessons, and volunteering. It's rare to have a day when I do not have something to do, but I try to make time."
Lily turned into the park and headed for the clearing in the middle. It was the best place to fly kites. "How about you. Is life treating you well? And your classes, are you doing well in those?"
Lily eagerly latched onto the small talk forgetting the singing and humming for a moment as they walked in the park. She slowed her pace not wanting to reach the clearing to soon. It would be good to get to know Trevor a little more, after all they did go to the same school.
Which reminded Lily, "What year are you in? I am a junior myself."

Trevor blinks as she eagerly got into the small talk "well, I wouldn't say life is treating me..well..its treating me alright. In between practicing soccer, attending classes and making some new friends, its fairly difficult" he answered. He shook his head, the friend making process was not working out so well for him right now.
He pondered over this "well...I'm in my senior year.. but I might consider staying another year or so" he said nodding his head,since he was not planning to graduate with having barely any friends.

Lily frowned slightly confused, "Your planning of failing," she questioned. She was quite certain that one could not just choose to stay in high school and she was really hoping the boy did not plan on failing. It seemed awfully counterproductive, didn't he want to move on with his class and go to college.
Lily pondered on this for a moment, "I have started to look at a few colleges to apply to. I really would like to attend an art school, that will help me become a singer and live my dream, but I having found one close. I really do not want to leave Destiny City. I know other's cannot wait to get away, but I want to be close to my family and friends. You know?"
Lily smiled lightly looking up at the trees as she walked, the light coming through the treetops dancing happily on her face.

Trevor sighs a bit "that's not how I would word it" he answered shifting her books. "its just that..I don't want to graduate with having barely any friends" he stated, before taking a step so he was beside her, it seemed easier to talk to her.
"I have plans to go to like college on a Athletic Scholarship, but I haven't really done any research on if any schools that are offering a athletic scholarship" he told explained.

Lily giggled slightly, "I figured you didn't mean it like that and I would worry about graduating without many friends. You will make more in college, but we can be friends. Right? And when you graduate we will still be friends."
Lily smiled brightly looking to the boy smiling brightly, "Oh an atheletic scholarship, really? How wonderful. You said you played soccer right? I know a few good school who might take an atheletic scholarship. Maybe we can meet afterschool one day and I can show you."
Lily looked forward and saw they were almost to the clearing. It was almost time to fly the kite. She was so excited.
"Have you ever flown a kite before," she asked looking to the clearing, "I haven't done it in a while."

Trevor made a face "I hope so" he said before nodding his head "of course we can be friends" he assured her "and yes when I graduate we will still be friends" he finished.
Trevor nodded his head "yup..I do play soccer" he answered before blinking "you do?" he asked that would help his plans progress forward a bit more. "that would be great" he finished with a smile. He chuckles lightly "I can't say I have, but there's a first for everything right?" he said as they approached the clearing.

Lily gestered for Trevor not to worry about it, "I am sure you will make a ton of new friends and college and I am glad to here that you will not forget about your old friends."
Lily smiled happy to help her new friend find a good school that would offer atheletic scholarships for soccer. "Great than," she said clapping her hands together, "It's a date. We can figure out a day after we fly the kite."
Her words were thrown out in a innocent way and she really had no idea of the implication of what she had just said.
Lily gave a light giggle, "Well then this shall be quite the experience." She pointed to an open spot on the clearing, "That looks like a good spot to get started," she said looking toward Trevor.

Trevor nods his head and sighs a bit "i hope so" he said before looking over at the clearing "alright lets go fly a kite before the weather decides to change on us" he said before starting to head over in the direction of the clearing

Lily smiled and followed Trevor totally agreeing that they should get started flying the kite. It would not be too much fun if the wind dropped off or it decided to rain, though looking at the sky she doubted that would happen.
Reaching a good spot she opened the kite. It was a simple kite with insert pole A into slot B direction. She was very happy their were only a few pieces and the kite was assembled in less than five minutes.
She held the kite up to Trevor before handing him the spool, "Look right to you," she asked smiling lightly.
Lily figured he was probably faster and hoped he would not mind running with the spool to get the kite into the air. She did not wish to do so, but she would if he did not want to.

Trevor took the kite and nodded his head "yup, that looks right to me" he said before taking the spool from Liliana and adjusted it so he had a good grip on it. Before stretching out slightly and then running to get the kite into the air. Not that he had not done it before, he has with his parents.
He ran down the stretch of the clearing and waiting to see if the wind provided a breeze for the kite to fly.

Lily smiled as Trevor took over running down the clearing. She watched for a moment before she ran after him, smiling brightly, skirtly flaring out about her legs. She pointed up to the sky as the kite too off.
"Trevor look," she shouted to the running boy. The kite had lifted into the sky catching the wind. It was whipping about in the air, ribbon tail twirling every which way.
Lily thought it was simply beautiful and quickly ran over to catch up with Trevor, so she could have a turn fly the kite when he finished. Today was turning out to be such a good day. It was beautiful and Lily got to have a moment where the negaverse and youmas were the very last things on her mind.
