"I like ribbons," she nodded her head in agreement to her statement. "Especially the really curly ones... They remind me of my own hair," she grinned.
"Thank you. But, honestly I'm only book smart for the most part." There was a faint blush on her cheeks. She loved attention and compliments but still flattery made her blush.
"And, you are smart in your reasoning about parents." She had stopped swinging for the most part. She was enjoying the slight rocking.
Aurora nodded her head. The tip of her tail curled and uncurled. "I'm convinced all kids are magnets for some sort of trouble. One kind or another. And it is really good that she has her own way with words- perhaps soon she'll put them to good use and entertain crowds."

Faris gave a thoughtful hum as she stopped her swinging and leaned a bit to the side to dig in her pocket and produced a green ribbon that happened to accent Victoria's hair color rather nicely as well as match the green ivy upon the girl's skin. She shifted a bit until she was closer to Victoria and offered it over with a proud grin, "Hereses! You can make it curly somehow maybes! I don't like ribbons s'too ... meh for me...Plus my hairs are too short!" she giggled a bit.
There a gift for a new friend!
She listened to Victoria explain that she was only book smart and Faris tilted her head a tad before she finally nodded with a bit of understanding, "Thank yous~. I jus' don' likes readin' too muches. I does it sometimes but the words? They go WOOSH over m'head!" Faris laughed cheerfully not really caring how she made herself sound. She knew she was smart enough if she needed to be. "I rather learns how to fight an' protect peoples, cos' that's gon' be m'real job!"
"Aye, t's true enough. T's mostly their experiences they gain in life that unfortunately follow them home for ye t'deal with sometimes," Luis laughed and shrugged a bit as she gazed at Aurora. The Satyress tilted her head from side to side, "She prolly has no problem standin' in front of a crowd an' such but I think she'd prefer t'protect others."

Victoria lookeded at the ribbon and smiled. She wound it around her fingers and played with it for a moment before reaching up and tieing it into her hair. "Fine like it is," though her voice was a whisper it was giggly. This gift meant a lot to her.
"I wish I had something I could give in return," for now though a hug would have to do. She quickly stood up and hugged her new friend. "Thank you!"
"Would you like me to read to you sometime. We'll pick out a book full of adventure for words that aren't so big you need a dictionary to figure them out," she grinned. She was more than a little enthusiastic about the thought.
"I wish you luck with that," she grinned. "I bet you'll be world famous!"
Aurora knew all to well about protecting others and being protected. She smiled and nodded her head. "I bet she'll be great at whatever path in life she takes."

Faris keened happily when Victoria deemed her gift as acceptable she soon drifted back to her part of the swing set and rocked a bit more as she shrugged her shoulder, "S'not about gettin' stuff back. S'about just showin' people you like 'em an' stuff," she replied philosophically. "Ya welcomeses~." Faris responded quite happily.
She hummed thoughtfully at Victoria's offer and then nodded a bit, "Okays~," she giggled lightly. Most others would possibly be embarrassed but Faris was pretty much alright with that sorta thing so long as the reading was interesting. She paused a moment and blinked with a small giggle, "Maybes I will! I be sure to keep in touch," she teased with a fanged grin. Then her stomach grumbled about the lack of food and she stared down at it as she stopped movement entirely.
"Uh oh. It woke up," she giggled.
"I hope so. It is a parent's hope that their child don' go too far off th' good path," Luis said thoughtfully and watched her daughter with a small chuckle, "I believe t's almost time to feed the children."

"You're not hungry are you?" Victoria playfully teased. "Because I'm hungry," she giggled. "From the suns position looks to be about lunch time..."
"I'll round them up," Aurora said with a nod of her head in agreement to lunch time.

She rubbed her stomach and nodded as she stared over at Victoria, "Yesh! Feed meh!" she laughed as she moved to get up off of the swing, not even blushing at Victoria's tease. So what if she was hungry?! Even Victoria said herself that she was hungry! So there was no reason to be embarrassed on any account!
Luis nodded a bit as she let the other female round the children up. When they were rounded up Luis would lead the way to the tavern to make and serve lunch to all.
