 Seyton just looked at the female, the expression on his face stating quite clearly that yeah, he got that alot, thanks for asking. He blinked at she went on rapidly, then sighed a bit, listening to her ramble before looking at her in surprise. It was sheer habit that had his lip raising in the disdainful way his mentor had passed down to him, then drawled, "I can usually manage to scare most Shakaiyo off without ever needing to reveal my name. The circumstances are different for right now, otherwise I'm quite sure you'd be among their number as well." Seyton was rather certain that, with his name or without it, Zephyr would join the ranks of other Shakaiyo his mannerisms managed to scare off.

 Even through his disdainful look Zephyr could do nothing but smile as she listened through his comment.
Of course that look would probably shy away most Shakaiyo, but not her, in fact his expression didn't even so much as force a reaction from the female. She was here, NOT ALONE! And that enough was perfect.
"I don't necessarily think that's true, I mean if it were, I guess the same would apply for me. Except my problem is that most others find me a bit crazy - "
The female cut herself off immediately and she quickly pressed down on Seyton's paw as if to hold him in place.
"B - But i'm really not! Please don't think that of me! It's, it's just that I tend to get really involved in my own thoughts, and I guess some others find that a bit too much to handle.
But at least for the moment, that doesn't seem to bother you - kinda like your attempt to startle me doesn't effect me!"
Zephyr quickly nodded her head in agreement with herself before passing along a reassuring smile to the male, her paw still locking his to the ground.

The sudden change in attitude startled the female for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure and removed her tightened grip on the male's paw. In the same movement, her eyes quickly grew as dark as she could force them to be, her glare soon followed, though as much as she tried for it to be fearful, it was obvious she wasn't built for that nature. But she wouldn't allow that to stop her, this male had at least survived a little bit of time with her - where others hadn't even lasted half as long, that had to mean something! Maybe she was meant to find this somewhat toughened up soul hiding under a rock in the middle of a rain storm - or maybe he really was just like all the others. The second the rain let up, he'd be gone.
With her softened up glare still boring into Seyton's now turned head, Zephyr finally spoke up again, this time, with a little bit of edge to it's otherwise gentle sounding nature.
"You know - you really aren't all that scary, and you can blame it on the rain, or really whatever it is you want, but even if you somehow gain 'superpowers' after this storm, and you think you'll be scarier, I don't believe it. So go ahead and give me that bared hackles, leave me the hell alone attitude. It won't stop me. I was born to be stubborn.
It's how I have to be.."
The words choked off in the female's throat as she propped her clouded white paws on some loose plants within her grasp. She then placed her head on top, and faced the opposite direction. Clear disappointment in her eyes.
