Jezebel stuck her tongue out at him again before carefully taking up her fork to take a bite of the chicken that'd been placed in front of her.
"Riiiiight. Surrrrrre." Jeze said, rolling her eyes, "You've been reading too many stories again."
"Mm I appreciate them when they're useful to me." Kerrigan laughed and took a sip of her water.

When Jezebel took a bite of her chicken Pilot looked a bit startled before realizing that the food for both tables had come, he’d missed being so caught up in his fight with Jezebel. Picking up one of the fried dim-sims in his bowl with his chopsticks he nibbled on it whilst listening to Jezebels reply.
“I haven’t been, no time I’ve been busy with important stuff. ‘sides just ask my Mom and she’ll tell you I’m telling the truth.” He said in reply.
Ophelia looked slightly amused when she realized that Pilot hadn’t noticed the food, she’d been eating a bowl of steak and black bean during her conversation with Kerrigan. “And they almost never are.” Ophelia replied with a wide smile and a twinkle in her eyes, she enjoyed teasing her twin.

"She's your mom. SHe's obligated to go with your story." Jeze said snootily, continuing to eat her chicken with her fork, since she was not disgracing herself to fiddling with and figuring out chopsticks in front of Pilot. It was none of his business that she'd never used them before.
"Thankfully mine are. They actually like children and can make this one shut up." Kerrigan said with a snort, taking another bite of her rice. "Actually, my sister Marie has a daughter that can freak Jeze out like no one's business. It's funny."

“Yeah, well. I have proof in my attic, there where this nutbar things that came and got everyone and they still stuck around afterwards.” Pilot said in reply, slightly thrown off by Jezebel pointing out that her Mom had to side with her. Finishing off his dim-sim he picked served himself some fried rice and steak and black bean before slowly starting on it.
Pilot then snapped his attention away from Jezebel to her mom when she said that someone could freak Jezebel out. “Really!?! Do tell. And possibly introduce them to me.” Pilot said interrupting whatever his mom had been about to say gaining a half annoyed half amused look from her.

"Right. Just like I have proof of my super magic giant robot in my basement." Jezebel said incredulously before kicking her mother under the table and glaring. "Don't tell him about that, it's not his business about Creepy."
Kerrigan snorted and shook her head, "Emery is one of Jezebel's cousins and she's straaaaange. She acts like a robot but likes weird things like roaring a dinosaur. And quoting Star Trek and Highlander. This'd be less weird if she didn't have a monotone though."

Pilot just made an annoyed sound and threw his hands up, it was impossible to argue with Jeze because she only saw her side. When she told her Mom not to share the story the sent her a ‘Shhh!’ look, she was the only one that didn’t want to hear the answer! Once he got the answer to his question he gave Kerrigan a small smile as thanks for answering before turning his attention back to Jeze, a slightly mischievous smirk on his face. This smirk slowly drained away as Pilot relaxed all the muscles in his face to blank it before saying in a carefully modulated flat voice, “There can only be one, in this war Jezebel.”.
Ophelia seeing Pilot go back to his verbal battle with Jezebel piped up in reply to what Kerrigan had said now that the conversation seemed to have turned back to just them, “She sounds like a perfectly weird girl, and the weird ones are always the most fun.”.

Jezebel's face quirked into a smile and she laughed at Pilot, taking a sip of her drink after she'd calmed. "Oh you stupid silly boy. You think THAT'S why I don't like her? That's why my MOTHER thinks she's weird. I know there are much more important reasons to dislike Creepy. Reasons you don't have and can't fake."
Kerrigan nodded, "Oh yes. Emery's a sweetiepie, and very fun with all the weirdness. She's actually unbelievably well mannered and gentle for being so strange. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is that book." the woman added with a bemused tone. Maybe that's what creeped Jezebel out about her? Though why she'd be weirded out by a book was anyone's business.

Pilot tried to control his flush of embarrassment when Jeze started laughing at him and talking down to him, with a slight stammer from his embarrassment he snippily replied, “O- Oh well that doesn’t matter. I’m sure I can find something else that’ll creep you out and it’ll be all mine.”
For a split second Ophelia’s eyes seemed to gain a bright blue shine before she said with a wiry smile, “It most likely is, I’m sure you’ll find out why one day.”

"Suuuuuuure you will." Jezebel replied, taking another bite of her chicken and rolling her eyes. Silly boy.
Kerrigan blinked, turning to look at Ophelia. That wasn't the appropriate response to her question. "Excuse me, what most likely is what?"

An idea hit Pilot at that moment that caused a smirk to slowly creep onto his face, it couldn’t be done now but they always did say Patience was a virtue, “Yes, yes I will.”. Turning away from Jeze, now plotting, he finished off the last of his rice and put his chopsticks together ontop of his bowl, signalling that he was done.
“What, what?” Ophelia said in reply, she didn’t actually remember saying anything. Morpheus just gave a small grimace and sarcastically thought, ‘Way to go Luna!’.

Jezebel rolled her eyes. Next time she saw him outside, she'd beat that boy up. Or find a way to anyway! He needed a lesson in not mouthing off to her.
Kerrigan shrugged, "Dunno." she said, nibbling on an egg roll. "I should invite you guys over sometime so Pilot can meet Emery. See if she creeps him out too."

“That would be nice, here I’ll give you my number.” Ophelia said scribbling down the number on a sticky note and pen she had in her pocket. After having given the number she looked at the other two of her dinning party and saw that they were done she waved over a waiter and asked for the cheque. “It was nice to see you again but I think we should head off, have a good night.”

Jezebel snorted and stuck her tongue out at Pilot again. "See you, jerk." she called before turning to take a drink of water.
"Good night to you too." Kerrigan called cheerily, putting the number in her purse. Oh this would be fun.

Having payed the bill they were half way out the door when Jezebels last comment reached them, “Bye Evil Incarnate!” Pilot shouted in reply, the door snapping shut before any other comments could get in.
