After confirming that Moonstone was gone, Birhan leapt gracefully back to where Regulus waited. She cocked her head at his thoughts on the Nega girl's speech. "Maybe," she guessed, shrugging. "I have no idea if they're born to it like we apparently are, or chosen by someone else... Apparently they don't volunteer, if we can believe what she had to say."
Birhan had no clue what the Negaverse believed about senshi in return. They might not receive any more information than the senshi did (ie. the tiniest smidgeon more than 'none'), or they might actually have training and information sessions.
"You can't let what she says make you hesitate." Birhan stepped close and patted Regulus' arm. "She didn't seem to be having any moral dilemmas about it when I arrived. If she didn't want to be attacking people, at the very least she could be less enthusiastic about doing it."
Abruptly, Birhan gave a short laugh and then beamed at her companion. "Oh, sorry, where are my manners? Birhan Isat," she said, holding out her hand. "Nice to meet you properly."

She had a point. A point he would rather not have admitted to himself not too long ago. "No she didn't. She's the first one I've run into that was that batshit." He admitted. "Next time I'm not going to let her get me off guard like that...and next time I'm calling in backup -first-." he admitted with a grimace, then forced a smile to peek through the maze of aches and pains Moonstone seemed to have reduced him to. "Regulus. Sorry about the circumstances. Not exactly a chat over coffee...." He winced again, trying to think how he was going to get home. Actually check that. To the hospital.

Birhan nodded, beginning to see the wisdom in not doing this alone. "I'll have to try and remember her, so I can call for help myself if I see her again," she said, brows furrowing. Things could have gone much worse than they had tonight, if the Negaverser hadn't decided to flee the scene. For all they knew, the Negaverse had even more powerful than that, too.
She had to smile as Regulus apologised for the way they'd met. "Hardly your fault. Maybe we can do the coffee some other time, when you're a little less worse for wear."
Now that she had time to take in his injuries properly, Birhan was getting worried. Not just his ankle, though that was clearly the worst of the damage, but an overall kind of beating. "Do you need help getting somewhere?" she asked after a moment's hesitation. It wasn't that she was after his secret identity, just that she didn't feel right leaving him to make his way alone with that ankle.

"...I hate to say it but yeah I'd really appreciate that." Regulus grimaced. "... Totally stupid. I shouldn't have underestimated her." He chastised himself. "Next time I won't." And he'd remember to pass along information about this fight, though it stung to admit taking that kind of a beat down, it would save someone else from being caught in the same position.

"Yeah," Birhan agreed. It was certainly a harsh warning not to go easy on the enemy. "At least we know what they're capable of now."
Crossing to Regulus' side, she ducked under the arm on the side of his injured ankle. She looped his arm around her neck, holding it firmly with one hand while the other went around Regulus' back. It wasn't the ideal solution to keep all weight off his ankle, but Birhan doubted he'd want to be carried princess-style, even if it turned out she could handle his weight with enhanced senshi strength.
"Where to?" she asked.

"...Someplace where I can get my ankle x-rayed. Jeeezus she's strong." He flinched as he tried to take a staggery step along side her, though she was correct in thinking is pride (ha) would have arguments to make against being carried. "Seriously I owe you one. I owe you a lot."

"No probs. It's our job, right?" Birhan grinned, easily shrugging off any kind of thanks for the assist. It felt a little weird, like someone thanking you for being a fast runner, or something else that you were born with and really had no kind of control over. "I'm sure you'd have done the same for me. And it's not like I could have done much without your awesome attack to begin with, so hey. Kind of even already. Brace yourself."
With no pause between normal conversation and the warning, she immediately pushed off the ground. Regulus was supported as they leapt into the air. She tried to take the brunt of his weight every time they touched down, but by the time they reached the hospital she wasn't sure how well she'd fared in that endeavour. They landed in the shadows a short walk from the emergency/walk-in entry.
Let it be known that Birhan and 'thinking things through' were not on close terms at the best of times. And a high-stress situation like this was far from the best of times. So she hadn't worried at all before de-transforming in front of Regulus, just shot him another grin as a braided teen in jeans and a sleeveless shirt was revealed in place of the senshi. "Hey there," she said, giving a quick wave. "I'm Ari. And you probably don't want to go in there like that, unless you're looking for a hot date with the police."

"Ha... no not really." Jaimie admitted, wincing at the police joke. Jumping off of roofs was... somewhat less thrilling in his condition. Although he was more accustomed to other senshi discussing their preferences on the matter first, Birhan certainly seemed comfortable enough, and he had no reason not to change also, and powered down into a boy wearing gray denim and an black turtleneck. "I'm Jaimie." He offered, giving her a half smile which made him wince. "Hopefully next time we meet... on the job... I'll look a little less like a punching bag. How does your attack work anyway?"

"Nice to meet you, even if the circumstances aren't the best. It's good to meet others in the same line of work, though." Trying to commit 'Jamie' and 'Regulus' to memory, Ari idly wondered if the senshi phones could build up a database of senshi names and civilian identities, like a pokedex for senshi... a senshidex. It would make her life easier for sure.
Together they made their way towards the hospital doors as civilians. At least all the craziness with the Negaverse and Senshi was semi-common knowledge, so they could just claim Jamie was an innocent bystander who got hurt in the crossfire.
"My attack?" Ah, so Jamie wanted to know why she was stealing his moves. "I'm Renewal, so I sort of resurrect attacks that have been used already. Well, and a bunch of lame restrictions like it having to be recent, and I can only renew it once, which was why I needed you to use your attack again tonight so I could keep going..." The irritation in her voice was clear. It sucked to be so dependent on others, and god forbid she ever end up in battle by herself. The kickboxer was used to being able to take things on physically, not being stuck in a support or mimic role.
"Anyway, that's why your attack rocks. I much prefer being able to use stuff like that."

He grinned again, even though it hurt like a b*****d to do so. "Thats actually pretty badass. You could really mess up some stupid Nega if they thought you were going to do the same thing as last time."
It must have been pretty annoying from her front, but maybe it was his inner trouble maker, he could see the potential in it. "It's not so bad though, I mean the cats are all advising we team up anyway..."
And he'd certainly gotten his nose rubbed in a good reason why. He hadn't gone into the fight planning for it to turn that serious... now he couldn't get it out of his head.
"I better try and get in by myself, so you don't get stuck with a bunch of questions." He sighed reluctantly. "No good two of us getting the fifth degree huh? Besides there's probably still Youma out there."
And who knew if Moonstone was crazy enough to go after another Senshi. She just might, if one of them mistook her for an easy target with her burns and cuts. "Maybe we can do a double patrol sometime when I'm back on my feet."

Ari grinned, liking the way that Jamie's mind worked. "That's true. Not that I really want to meet that particular nega-agent again, but it might be a good... strategy-thing." Ari waved a hand in the air. Not her area of expertise, really.
She nodded as Jamie indicated he would head into the hospital alone. "Okay, hope they don't grill you too hard. I'll head back out youma-hunting." Grinning, she began walking backwards to the 'safe' area they'd de-transformed in before. "You should definitely give me a call when you're back on your feet. I look forward to borrowing your attack again sometime!"
